최근에 경제 관련 팟캐스트를 듣다가 전기자동차에 관한 내용을 들으니 아마 미래엔 전기차가 대세가 될 것 같다는 느낌이 들었습니다. 그래서 구글에서 전기차 검색을 해보니 전문적으로 수리하는 곳이나 인원이 없어서 크게 골머리를 앓는다고 하는 기사를 봤습니다. 그런데 다른 기사를 보니 올해 최초로 모 대학에서 전기자동차 학과(2년제)를 만들고 관련 교육시설을 만들었다는 기사를 봤는데 이 학교가 제가 사는 지역의 학교더군요. 갑자기 솔깃해져서 입학기준을 보니 입학이 크게 어려워 보이진 않고.. 그래서 한번 들어가볼까? 라는 생각이 문득 들었는데.. 문제는 제가 나이가 내년이면 30입니다. 시행착오를 겪기엔 나이도 많고 20대때 뭔가 쌓아온 커리어도 없어서 (문돌이, 대학 자퇴..) 좀 절박한 상황인데요. 공무원 쪽으로 방향을 잡고 준비하던 와중에 이런 생각이 들어서 기분이 싱숭생숭합니다. 그래서 형에게 제 고민을 얘기하니 형은 1. 거기 졸업한다고 어디 취업이 보장되는 건 아니다. 취업을 해도 현대,기아 정직원이 아닌 하청업체 뺑뺑이만 돌 것이다. 2. 너 나이가 많다. 대학 분위기도 그렇게 좋지 못할텐데 가면 후회 할 확률이 높기에 시행착오를 겪기엔 시간이 아깝다. 3. 인력이 정말 부족하다 싶으면 정부에서 직업학교 만들어서 공장식으로 정비사들 찍어내서 물량 폭발할거다. 아니면 기업에서 기존 자동차 정비인원을 재교육 시키거나 기존의 그 많은 자동차 정비사들이 새로운 기술을 더 쉽게 배울거다. 4. 한국은 기술을 천시하는 국가라 사장만 배가 부르고 넌 일만 엄청 할 것이다. 5. 너가 정비하고 그런 일을 잘 할 것 같지도 않다. 6. 그래서 결론은 닥치고 공무원해라 공무원이 짱이다. 요렇게 말하던데.. 워낙 뭐든 부정적인 성향을 가진 형이지만 아예 틀린 말 같지는 않기도 한데... 하지만 이런 학과를 나왔다고 차량정비만 하는 것은 아닐 것 같기도하고..그래서 다른 곳에서 수요가 있지 않을까 싶기도 하고 그냥 답답해서 질게에 글 올려보네요. 혹시 여러분 생각은 어떠세요?
