| Subject | 디스크 수술 관련으로 질문 여쭙니다. |

오늘 가족이 모 대학병원에서 MRI 를 찍고 진료를 받았는데 4~5번 디스크 협착이 너무 심해서 전신마취 후 수술을 해야한다는 말을 들었습니다. MRI 상으로 너무 심해서 상중하 단계 중에 상상 정도의 수준이라는 진단을 받았다네요. 배뇨 배변 장애 직전 수준이라고도 하고요. 보름 뒤, 1주일 수술, 입원 및 한달 간 출근 금지 (집에서만 생활) 라고 하는데 그냥 막연해서 질문 좀 드려보고 싶어서요. 첫 째는 수술의 필요성입니다. 안아키 같은....그런 말도 안되는 소릴 하는 건 아니구요. 그냥 최근에 디스크는 수술을 안 하는 추세다. 운동 및 관리로 유지하는 거다라는 얘기를 매체나 여기저기서 워낙 많이 듣기도 했고 가족도 근래 피티를 하면서 많이 상태가 나아지고 있다고 좋아하던 중이었거든요. 그런데 한창 심할 때 몇 달 전, 예약해둔 검사가 오늘 이었고 결과가 저리 나와서요. 다니는 직장을 한달 못 나간다고 말하는 거도 쉬운 일이 아니고 해서요. 둘 째는 다른 병원의 진료 여부입니다. 의료 종사자 분들께서 보시면 불쾌하실 수 있는 질문일 수도 있는 거 알아서 조심스럽습니다만 가족이나 가까운 지인이 A 에서 괴사절단 판정을 받았는데 B에서 그냥 치료를 했다거나 C대학병원에서 말기암 판정이라 항암을 권유 받았는데 D 에서 그거 희귀케이스인데 암 아니다~ 이래서 그냥 잘 살고 계신 경우가 근래에 좀 있었던지라 시간이나 상황적 여유가 있다면 사실 다른 병원들에서도 진료를 받아보고 싶긴 합니다. 하지만 위에 말씀드린 거 처럼, 수술하게 되면 직장을 1개월 쉬어야 하는 상황인데, 만약 어느 병원을 가도 다 수술 진단이 나오면 한달 휴직 + 다른 병원 검사 및 진료 갈 때마다 휴가 를 내야하니 비용도 비용이지만 현실적으로 힘들어서요. 혹시나 수술 부작용이나 후유증도 걱정이고, 아예 수술이 필요가 없는 가능성도 있지않은가 싶어서 실례일 수도 있는 질문을 올려봅니다.
