우스개로 오늘 타임라인에 제가 겪은 에피소드를 올렸습니다. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 음... 아래 은머리님 일화를 보고 급 생각난 옛날 이야기 전 대학 1학년 때 지금과는 달리 참 날씬했었습니다. 46킬로 나가던 시절.... 허리도 23... 넵!! 깡마른 남자였죠. 고딩때가지 머리 빡빡 밀도 다녔던 반발심으로 머릴 길렀는데 단발정도 되었고 좀 타이트한 청바지를 많이 입었더랬죠. 하루는 도서관에서 새벽까지 공부하고 자취방으로 돌아가려고 캠퍼스를 걸어가는데 아무도 없는 게 조용하니 좋더만요. 갑자기 어디 숨어 있었는지 왠 술처먹은 놈 하나가 튀어 나오더니 제 손목을 잡고 "아따~ 이쁘요이~ 어디 가서 술이나 한잔 함서 얘기나 좀 할라요?" 이러더군요. 너무 어이없고 짜증이 나. 최대한 목소리 내리깔고 "아야. 이런 000이 눈깔이 장식이냐. 호로 0000가 배때지를 확 긁어서 창자를 저서블랑께. 안꺼져! 00000야" 소리를 질렀더니 기겁을 하고 꽁지 빠져라 도망가더군요. 하아.... 좀 잘생긴 사람이었으면 내가 술한잔 사려고 그랬는데...... 웬 별 그지같이 생긴 게 어따대고!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 제가 게이라고는 하나 저도 어쩔 수 없는 남자인가 봅니다. 글을 올릴때만해도 '야 이 에피소드 잼나겠는걸' 하는 마음 뿐이었습니다. 그런데 조금 뒤 생각해보니 위 사건이 그냥 다같이 웃어보아요 하기엔 결코 적절하지가 않다는 생각이 들었습니다. 혹여 비슷한 일을 당해 트라우마를 가진 어느 여성분이 제 글을 읽었을 때 어떤 느낌을 받았을까 생각해보니 가슴이 턱 막히더군요. 저야 그 상황에서 아무리 피지컬에서 상대한테 밀리더라도 흉기만 없다면 죽기로 덤빌수가 있었겠죠. 힘에서 밀리면 종아리를 물어 뜯던지 급소를 터뜨리던지 하다 못해 짱돌이라도 집어들어 머리를 후려칠 수도 있었을테고요. 그런데 제가 아니라 어린 아가씨가 아무도 없는 새벽 텅 빈 캠퍼스에서 술취한 남자에게 저런 일을 당했다 하면..... 저도 남자라 여자들이 생활에서 시때로 느끼는 공포심을 완전히 이해 못합니다. 완전히 이해한다고 하면 거짓말이겠죠. 막말로 제가 만취해 길에 누워 있다면 기껏해야 지갑 털리는게 끝이겠죠. 하지만 여자라면.... 대한민국이 아무리 치안이 좋네. 세상이 바뀌었네 하지만 글쎄요.... 아직도 남성들에 의한 피해를 거의 일방적으로 받고 있지요. 물론 여자가 남자를 스토킹하고, 폭력을 휘두르고, 살해하는 경우도 분명 있습니다. 그렇지만 대한민국에 여자로 산다는 건 여전히 그리 녹녹하지 않은 게 사실입니다. 메갈의 주장과 행동에 결코 동의하지는 않지만 이해되는 부분도 있었습니다. 공포속에서 살다 탈출구를 찾은 듯 세상에 외치는 그 감정은 충분히 그럴만하다는 생각도 들었습니다. 안스럽기도 하고 미안하기도 하고 그런 기분이요. 뭐 거창하게 말은 했습니다만 여기에 제가 이런 글을 적는다고 뭐 얼마나 달라질까 싶습니다. 저 스스로도 누군가 위험에 처한 상황을 맞닥뜨리더라도 직접적으로 나서지 않겠죠. 그저 경찰에 신고하는 게 다일 뿐.... 그렇다고 세상을 바꿉시다. 남성들이여 변화합시다. 뭐 이런건 더더욱 아니고요. 다만 사소한거라도 한 번 더 생각해보면 달리 볼 수 있지 않을까 싶은 마음에 글을 남겼습니다. 고백하자면 괜히 혼자 찔려서요. 킁. 저도 뭐 써 놓고 혼자서 덜덜 떨 때 많아요 ㅎㅎ. 저 같은 경우는 뒤돌아 보니 한국에서 정말 많이 무서워하면서 살았구나 싶은데 그게 무서워하며 사는 건지도 잘 몰랐던 것 같아요. 무서워하면서 사는 건 당연했었어요. 근데 그건 실제 세상이 그만큼 무서워서가 아니고 가상의 공포였던 것 같아요. 물론 세상에는 무서운 일이 여전히 일어나고 있지만 남성들과 교류를 안 하니 그냥 막연히 무서웠던 거예요. 연애를 많이 해 보길 했나;; 그래서 홍차넷 처음 활동할 때 여자들도 좀 많이 많이 들어와서 남자들이랑 잘 지냈음 좋겠단 생각 정말 많이 ... 더 보기

옛날에 잠시 알았던 미국고등학교 교감선생님이 남자분이셨어요. 수업도 몇 개 친히 가르치시고 덕망 높고 아이들의 존경을 많이 받으셨죠. 이 학교가 못 사는 아이들이 다니는 학교였거든요. 그래서 여학생들 같은 경우 저마다 기구한 개인사가 많았어요. 성폭행을 당하기도 하고 학대에 시달리기도 하고 등등(선생님이 그러시더라고요). 이 선생님은 일부러라도 적극적으로 여학생들과 포옹을 참 많이 하셨어요. 남성의 학대나 폭력으로 인한 트라우마를 지울 수 있도록 남성의 터치에 익숙하게 만드는 자신만의 교육방법이라고 하시더라고요.
아, 그리고 독자분들을 위해 저의 일화란 건 별 거 아니고 누가 저더러 '하이' 이랬는데 캣콜이었다고 나 안 죽어쒀! 이런 시덥잖은 글이었어요 =..=
