수차례 다시쓰면서 올릴까 말까 망설이다가 올려봅니다.. 최대한 짧게 적고싶었는데 글솜씨가 허접하네요. 저에 대해 간단히 설명하자면, 전형적인 실패한 일본 유학생. 이공계 석사 1학년. 군필입니다. 아마 주변 한국인들이 없었으면 학부졸업도 못했을겁니다. 현재도 평균적인 졸업생 역량에 심히 못미칩니다. 일본어조차 허접하니 말다했죠.. 군대도 석사 1학기 쯤에 거의 때려칠 작정으로 군대갔는데, 막상 제대후에 한국의 취업난을 뚫을 용기도 의지도 없어서 도피성 복학을 했습니다. 처음에는 나름 희망적으로 이 석사과정을 통해 지금까지의 과오를 만회하고 정상적인 어른이 되어야겠다는 마음이었습니다. 복학후 첫 한달은 그나마 봐줄만했지만, 첫 발표를 준비함에 있어 또다시 고질적인 미루기(+역량부족) 로 한달이나 되는 준비기간에도 불구, 처참... '나는 역시나 안되' 라는 실망감과 일단 끝났다는 안도감에, 연구실이전+연말연휴 의 콤보로 서서히 히키코모리짓 시작..... 사실 학부 졸업시즌때도 비슷했었는데, 패턴이 있습니다.. 과업에 있어서 한번 밀리거나 역부족을 느끼면 그걸 따라잡지 않고 반대로 극한까지 미뤄버립니다. ('자기불구화 전략'이라는 용어를 최근에 알게됐는데 그거같기도 합니다) 그리고 사소한 것들을 조금조금씩 변명거리로 삼고, 거짓말한 적도 있습니다. 차라리 뻔뻔한 성격이면 좋을텐데, 나름 안좋은 쪽으로 자기객관화는 잘된다고 해야하나요, 제가 하는 모든짓이 다 쓰레기짓인걸 너무 잘 알면서도 벗어나지질 않아서 더 괴롭습니다. 그리고 역량은 없는 주제에 수치심?을 잘 느낍니다. 예를들어 정말 일부분 밖에 못해냈더라도 일단 제출을 해야 단위가 나오든 말든 할텐데, 너무 어렵거나 결과물이 스스로 너무 부끄러워서 걍 안하는걸로 지레 포기해버리는 경우도 많구요.. 운동이 무기력에 좋다는것도 알고 할일 리스트를 만들어 일단 시작해라 등등의 기법등도 머리로는 알고 있습니다. 그리고 지금 이대로 가다간 노숙자가 될거같고 실제로도 너무 불안하고 무서운데 마치 시동이 안걸리는 자동차마냥 암것도 안됩니다. 하고싶은것도 없고 그냥 다 무섭고, 모쏠이고, 외모컴플렉스가 심해서 그런것도 있겠지만 딱히 그런쪽으로 노력도 안하고... 내 자신이 싫고... 부모님이 고생하는거 알면서도 동기부여가 안되고.. 나보다 훨씬 힘들게 사는 사람 많은것도 너무 잘 아는데... 스트레스야 많이 받았지만서도 번아웃이라고 하기엔 딱히 뭔가를 불나게 하지도 않았거든요.. 미루다 시간에 쫓겨서 울면서 발악한후 주저앉은것뿐. 한번은 목표를 가지려고도 해봤습니다. 그나마 관심있는게 음향쪽이니, 음향기기회사에 취직하기 같은걸로 정해보고 친구따라 야마하 취업설명회도 한번 다녀왔거든요... 재밌긴 했는데 '열시미해서 여기 취직해야지!' 라기보단 그닥 와닿지 않고 공허해요. 일반적으로는 대학기간동안 이런저런 경험을 쌓아서 자신의 기반이 되는건데, 저는 고딩때도 걍 성적 좀 좋은거 믿고 아무생각이 없었는데 그게 대학때도 똑같았네요... 아무것도 쌓아놓은게 없고, 진짜 뭘 어째야 할지 어쩔줄을 모르겠어서 쪽팔릴 정도에요.. 진짜 정신분열이 뭔지 알것같을 정도로, 한편으론 불안해 미칠것 같으면서도 인터넷으로 끊임없이 딴짓으로 주의를 돌리려는 나.. 결심을 하면서도 그와 동시에 어짜피 안될거라고 예언하는 내가 있어요.. 불안함이 클수록 외면해버리는 것에 마약처럼 중독되는거 같아요. 그리고 어쩌다 맘잡고 뭘 할라해도, 당연히 지금까지 게을렀으니 잘 안되거나 못하는게 당연한데 그 괴로움을 못이기고 다시 인터넷으로 도망가요.. 어떻게 보면 나 자신에게 이겨본적이 거의 없는거 같아요.. 만약에 존재를 지우는 버튼을 누가 저에게 준다면, 지금이라면 누를 수 있을거 같아요. 이럴거면 대학원 걍 때려쳐라 라는 말 들어도 싼데, 막상 그만두면 저는 진짜 할줄아는것도 하고싶은것도 스펙도 없는 잉여인간이 되니 무서워요. 누군가 나를 세뇌해서라도 철면피깔고 몰두할수있는 무언가가 생기면 좋겠네요.. 성공한 사람들의 인터뷰 등을 보면 가끔, 의대였는데 꿈을쫓아 제빵사가 되었다는 류의 얘기가 있잖아요? 그 결단력이 너무 부럽고 상상속의 얘기 같아요... 당장 선생님이나 선배들한테 면목이 없고 변명할거리도 없어서 도저히 뭐라고 둘러대야 할지도 모르겠네요.. 이대로 잠수타면 결국 부모님한테도 연락이 가겠죠.. 그냥 사고라도 나서 변명거리가 생기면좋겠단 생각까지 들어요. 이대로면 파국일걸 알면서도 왜 못벗어나는 걸까요. 와 진짜 왜 이렇게 안일한지 스스로도 너무 어처구니가 없어요 진짜.. 미친놈같아요. 걍 욕이라도 한마디 해주세요. 저도 비슷한 상황이고, 거의 같은 상황이라고 생각합니다.
개인적으로는......생각이 많고 영리한 사람이 빠지기 쉬운 함정이라고 생각해요. 성실하지 못하고 견디거나 참는건 싫은데 생각이 많고 영리해서 뭔가 대충 딱딱 보이는 사람들.. 제가 뭐 막 영리하다기보단, 저의 나태나 게으름이나 고통이나 자기비하나 이런것들이 그렇게 느껴졌다는거에요. 그리고 이게 반복되면 자괴감이 운명론적으로 느껴지고...... 그럼에도 또 막연하게 할수있다는 생각(그럴 리 없지만)이 남겨져있고.. 개인적으로는 자본주의 체제에서 가장 동떨어져 있는 인간상이... 더 보기

딱히 그래도 괜찮다거나 나아질거라는 말은 필요 없을거같고요.
저 같은 경우에는 그냥 드럽고 치사하고 X같은 일거리들을 하면 좀 나아졌습니다. 지금은 콜센터에서 욕이랑 진상들으면서 집갈때 이짓거리 그만해서라도.. 라는 생각으로 조금이나마 예전보다는 더 노력하는거 같고요. 옛날에도 몸힘들고 머리아프고 하대받는 일들 하면서(영리하다는건 뭘 해도 일을 빨리 익히기는 하는 편이라) 나름의 자극제라고 여기는 점이 있었는데 이것도 음.. 또 어떨때는 그래서 하기싫고 그렇더라고요.
만약에 혼자 자율적으로 뭔가 하는게 힘드시면 개인적으로는 체제가 꽉 짜여진 곳에서 바쁘게 일하는 쪽이 성과가 좋다고 생각해요. 저도 늘 그렇거든요. 자율적으로 하는 것보다 책임감이 필요한 과업 같은거, 특히 남들에게 내가 나태하면 분명히 악영향을끼치는 그런거.. 이를테면 군생활(저는 훈련소뿐이지만)이나 공익생활 같은거겠죠. 타율적인 조직 내에서 본인이 더 나은 역량을 발휘하는지 검토해보시는것도 좋을 것 같고요.
개인적으로 너무 좋아하는 것을 하는게 좋다거나 뭐 몰입이나 열정 이런게.. 그런게 현실적인 사람들이 있다면 저는 이런걸 엄청 동경하고 좋아하고(그래서 열혈 만화 소년만화 굉장히 좋아하고)하는 반면 제게는 되게 비현실적인 일들이기도 해요. 남들보다 몇도쯤 삶에 대한 온도도 낮고(심각성이 높은데도) 그래서 사회운동이나 노조운동에 더욱 관심갖고 빠졌던것도 그나마 타인의 고통이나 부조리에 대해 좀 더 열정?이랄까 속에서 불길같은게 치솟아서 그랬던거고요. 여하튼..
뭔가 주저리주저리 썼는데, 저도 비슷하게 살아갑니다. 솔직히 매일 일어나고 싶은 마음이 드는 경우가 별로 없어요. 다 때려치고 싶은 마음도 가득하고.. 내가 생각하는 나에 비해서 내가 할수있는 내가 얼마나 한심한지도 사무치게 잘 알죠. 자존감 같은게 있는지도 잘 모를정도로 피폐해져있고... 이걸 어딘가에서 어떻게 공유할 수 있을거라는 생각도 안들고.. 뭐 그래도 그냥 저는 누가 죽여주지 않아도 어느새 죽을때가 될거다..라는 생각에, 그리고 그나마 몇 안되는 제 주변 사람들에게 일본어로 메이와쿠라고 하나요? 부모님께도 그렇고 애인, 친구, 지인, 동료 같은사람들에게 최소한의 인간된 도리는 하고 살려면.. 하는생각으로 엉금엉금 기어가고 있습니다. 엉금엉금 기어가는 사람들이 필요치 않은 세상일 뿐이지, 어느 시대에도 존재했겠죠.
소속감을 가질 수 있는 곳에서 꼭 좋은 빛을 만나길 빌겠습니다. 그 전까지는 엉금엉금 기어가봅시다.
저는 일본에서 사는게 한때 꿈이었는데... 이건 부럽네요.
개인적으로는......생각이 많고 영리한 사람이 빠지기 쉬운 함정이라고 생각해요. 성실하지 못하고 견디거나 참는건 싫은데 생각이 많고 영리해서 뭔가 대충 딱딱 보이는 사람들.. 제가 뭐 막 영리하다기보단, 저의 나태나 게으름이나 고통이나 자기비하나 이런것들이 그렇게 느껴졌다는거에요. 그리고 이게 반복되면 자괴감이 운명론적으로 느껴지고...... 그럼에도 또 막연하게 할수있다는 생각(그럴 리 없지만)이 남겨져있고.. 개인적으로는 자본주의 체제에서 가장 동떨어져 있는 인간상이라고 생각합니다.(저 자신에 대해서도 그렇고 글쓴분과 공통점이 많다고 생각해서 그렇고요)
딱히 그래도 괜찮다거나 나아질거라는 말은 필요 없을거같고요.
저 같은 경우에는 그냥 드럽고 치사하고 X같은 일거리들을 하면 좀 나아졌습니다. 지금은 콜센터에서 욕이랑 진상들으면서 집갈때 이짓거리 그만해서라도.. 라는 생각으로 조금이나마 예전보다는 더 노력하는거 같고요. 옛날에도 몸힘들고 머리아프고 하대받는 일들 하면서(영리하다는건 뭘 해도 일을 빨리 익히기는 하는 편이라) 나름의 자극제라고 여기는 점이 있었는데 이것도 음.. 또 어떨때는 그래서 하기싫고 그렇더라고요.
만약에 혼자 자율적으로 뭔가 하는게 힘드시면 개인적으로는 체제가 꽉 짜여진 곳에서 바쁘게 일하는 쪽이 성과가 좋다고 생각해요. 저도 늘 그렇거든요. 자율적으로 하는 것보다 책임감이 필요한 과업 같은거, 특히 남들에게 내가 나태하면 분명히 악영향을끼치는 그런거.. 이를테면 군생활(저는 훈련소뿐이지만)이나 공익생활 같은거겠죠. 타율적인 조직 내에서 본인이 더 나은 역량을 발휘하는지 검토해보시는것도 좋을 것 같고요.
