외국에서 살다보면 종종 불편한 일이 있는데, 요즘 특히 불편한 것이 국내은행 이용에 제한이 걸리는 부분입니다. 한국에서 살 때 만들어둔 계좌와 공인인증서, 그리고 은행에 등록된 OTP까지 있으니 해외에서도 아무 문제가 없을 거라고 당연히 생각했습니다. 그런데 해외에서 막상 사용하려고 하면 '내가 나라는 사실'을 밝히기 위해서 공인인증서 + OTP + 휴대폰(ARS 혹은 문자 보안코드 전송)이 거의 필수더라구요. 100만원 이하 소액 계좌이체는 공인인증서 + OTP + 해외출국사실 확인으로 가능한데, 그 이상을 하려면 무조건 휴대폰이 필요합니다. 여기서 휴대폰은 무조건 한국 번호만 가능하구요. 멀쩡한 공인인증서와 물리적으로 키를 생성하는 OTP까지 있는데 왜 굳이 한국 번호의 본인 명의의 휴대폰이 추가로 있어야 하는지가 의문입니다. 법적으로 이렇게 강제되어 있는건지, 아니면 은행들이 안전장치를 너무 과하게 하는건지도 모르겠네요. 혹시 이렇게까지 복잡하게 인증을 하게 된 사연을 아시는 분 계실까요?
