정말 진지하고 어려운 사건이라면 아무래도 비용청구를 하고 싶어지는게 인지상정이기는 하네요 ^^;;
그런데 개인 레벨에서는 그렇게까지 까다로운 사건이 많지는 않았습니다. 직접 건물을 지으시거나 하지 않는 한에는요.
저 개인적으로는... 죽마고우급 친구나 친척은 사건도 그냥 무료로 하는 경우가 있고요. (상담은 당연히 무료겠지요.)
오프라인 지인의 단순한 사건상담은 따로 비용청구 안 하고 해 드리는 편입니다.
지인의 지인... 급 정도까지 간다면 비용청구를 하는 때도 있는데,
보통 그 때는 제가... 더 보기

문서화된 의견서는 변호사도 신중하게 근거 찾아가면서 쓰는 편이라 아무래도 '일' 느낌에 가깝거든요.
'말'은 상대적으로 부담이 덜한 편이고요.
('말'로 된 '조언'에 그치는 정도면 비용 대신에 선물을 하시면 됩니다. 커피쿠폰이라든가... 그 정도의 소소한 선물이 좋겠지요.)
그런데 예를 들어 수십페이지 짜리의 계약서 내지는 약정서가 들어간다거나,
관계된 서면이 수십페이지가 넘는다거나.. 이런 경우라면
차라리 정확하게 자료를 전부 드린 다음에,
의견서를 요청하는데 비용이 얼마나 될지를 물어보시는 게 여러 모로 서로 마음이 편합니다.
변호사 입장에서도... 5분 정도 사정설명 들은 다음에 조언을 할 수 있는 정도면 부담이 없는데,
관련 서류가 수십페이지가 넘어간다면.. 아무래도 말로 짧게 설명하기도 어렵고, 일하는 느낌을 받게 되지요.
이 정도면 서로 줄거 주고, 받을 거 받는다..는 마인드가 낫습니다.
