제 나이 30대 중반. 애는 둘. 남는 시간에 제가 하고 싶은 일은 순서대로 다음과 같습니다. 1. 영어 공부 2. 책 읽기(세상공부) 3. java 공부(업무 이해도 상승 + 더 잘되면 스스로 프로그램도?) 4. 노래 배우기(발성) 5. 피아노 배우기 6. 영웅전설6 이후 나온 시리즈 올 클리어 지금은 1번을 하고 있는 중이지요. 1번을 하려고 하는 이유는....제 전공이 영어영문학이기 때문입니다. 아마 대부분 그러실겁니다. 전공은 끝까지 따라가죠. 어딜가나 제 전공을 밝힐 일이 있으면 모두가 영어를 잘하는 줄 압니다. (컴퓨터 관련 전공에게 컴퓨터 수리를 부탁하는 것과 같은...) 그것에 대한 스트레스 + 순수하게 영어를 잘하고 싶은 욕심으로 1번을 1번에 두었습니다. 그리고 2번. 책 읽기(신문 읽기)에 대한 욕심이 있습니다. 제가 너무.....무식하고 세상 물정을 몰라서 좀 세상 돌아가는 걸 알고 싶어서 갖게 된 계획입니다. 목적은 책 읽기를 통해 제가 똑똑해지는 것이 궁극적인 목표라기 보다는... 아이들이 점점 커가는데 얘들이 더 컸을때 (4~5년 안에) 보다 유식한 애비가 되어 아이들에게 많은 것을 알려줄 수 있는 애비가 되고 싶은 욕심입니다. 그런데 육아빠로써 시간이 없다보니 1번과 2번을 믹스한 혼종이 되었습니다. 책(원서, 영자신문) 읽기를 통해 영어 공부를 하는 것이지요. 그런데 이 과정에서 마주친 장애물이 있습니다. 1. 책이 200 page가 넘어가면 다 읽는데 시간이 너무 오래 걸리고 재미가 없다... 2. 영어 실력이 후달려서 조금만 어렵게 써도 못 읽고 흥미를 잃는다... 3. 읽기 실력은 느는 것 같은데 듣기, 말하기는 너무 안된다. 그래서 지금은 flashcard앱을 사용해서 영어 표현을 많이 접하면서... 제 기준에 비교적 쉬운 책을 보고 있습니다. (요즘은 주로 기독교 서적을 보고 있습니다. 목사님이 Timothy Keller책을 추천해서...영어는 많이 안 어렵더라구요.) 그리고 틈틈히 심심할 때는 미드도 보면서 듣기 공부(라 쓰고 놀기라 읽는다)를 하고 있습죠. 그러다보니 연 초 20권 읽겠다는 계획은 흐지부지되고... 지금은 약 6.5권째를 읽고 있으며, 2019년엔 10권 읽는 것을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 우리 나라에 살림지식총서와 같은...얇고 여러가지 주제를 다루는 책이 있는데 미국판도 그런게 있으면 보고 싶다는 생각이 드네요. 제 목적을 달성하기 위해서는 두께가 얇고 내용은 알찬 그런 책이 필요합니다..... 6번은 사실상 제가 은퇴하고 나서도 살아있어야 가능한 목표이지 않나 싶구요. 3번은 내년에 회사 교육비로 슬슬 시작해볼까 하고 있습니다. 제가 하는 업무중에 java로 만든 앱과 관련된 업무도 있는데... 제가 이걸 개발하는 건 아니지만 고객들의 요청사항을 수렴하여 개발자에게 전달해야하는 통로 역할을 해야 하거덩요. 좀 알아야 이걸 잘 할 수 있을 것 같아서...... 근데 내년에 3번을 시작하려면 올해 남은 기간동안 빡세게 영어공부를 해야겠지요. 그리고 4, 5번은 애들이 좀 커서 피아노학원 보낼때가 오면 같이 해보는 것이 좋겠지요? 근데 그때 우리 딸들이 아빠랑 놀아줄까요 흐미... 사실 지금도 점심시간에 책 읽어야 되는데 읽으라는 책은 안 읽고 퍽퍽퍽 Warning: Use of undefined constant no - assumed 'no' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 133 Warning: Use of undefined constant no - assumed 'no' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 146 Warning: Use of undefined constant vote - assumed 'vote' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 161 5
