 댓글 쓰다가 생각나서 올립니다. 진주에 하연옥이라 유명한 진주냉면 맛집이 있습니다. 하연옥 사천분점으로 알고 있었는데 이분 언니가 운영하시며, 자체 브랜드로 이름을 바꿔 운영하는 곳이 하주옥입니다. 도착한 시간이 약 저녁 7시45분경, 9시 마감인 가게인데 대기 3팀 기다리고 먹었습니다. 오래 기다리진 않았지만 진주도 아닌 사천 동네에 이렇게 기다리는 건 특기할만 합니다. 특히 연령대가 대부분 높습니다. 뜨내기 관광객도 많지만, 현지 어르신이 평일 저녁에 농사일 끝나고 찾는 곳이란 거란 거죠. 물냉9/비냉9.5/물비냉9.5 3종류 중 물냉 육회비빔밥(익혀서) 11. 선지국밥9.5 시켰습니다. 저나 어머니는 찬 걸 먹으면 배탈나서 냉면을 못먹습니다. 하연옥은 온면도 있다던데 여기는 없더군요. 그래도 기념이라고 시켰는데 큰 만두 1인당 1개씩 나와 배를 따뜻하고 든든하게 채우도록 나오더군요. 냉면 먹고 국밥 먹으러 가자는 사람으로서 다행입니다. 음식마다 밑반찬이 달라서 놀랐습니다. 냉면은 샐러드가 나오는데 양배추가 푸짐하고 넉넉해서 소화 안되시는 어른들을 배려하기 위함인가란 생각이 들었습니다. 새싹채소 위주는 아니었거든요. 이건 좀 콩깍지가 씌인 의견 같긴 하네요. 육회비빔밥과 선지국밥은 4-5가지?정도 나왔는데 2가지만 같고 다른 밑반찬은 달랐어요. 전라도 사람이라 경상도 밑반찬에 과하게 까다로운 편이라 생각합니다만, 오이소박이 먹고 인정안할 수가 없더군요. 밑반찬만 해도 괜찮았습니다. 개인적으로 밑반찬이 음식마다 다르게 나오려면 그 구성에 신경을 써야하는 부분이니 가짓수만 많은 것보다 높게 칩니다. 밑반찬부터 다르다보니 호의적으로 봤는데, 압권은 토하젓이었습니다. 원래 물비냉을 시켰는데 물냉이 나왔어요. 좋은게 좋다 주의라 그냥 그대로 먹겠다고 하니 소스를 주시며 같이 먹어보라 하시더군요. 비냉 소스인가 한데 너무 벌게서(...) 찬 것도 못먹지만 매운 것도 못먹어서 애초에 논외였습니다. 그래도 물냉 육수가 괜찮았거든요. 특히 냉면에 얼음을 얹거나 살얼음이 끼지 않고 시원하기만 해서 좋았습니다. 누차 말하지만 찬 걸 먹고 고생합니다. 그런데 순환이 빨라선지, 고령 손님을 배려해선지 얼음 없이 내서 좋았어요. 그것만 해도 괜찮았는데 그래도 줬으니 소스 맛이나 보자,(...) 였는데 안맵고 달아요. 저야 입맛이 저렴해서 안매워서 먹어도 괜찮아, 맛있어, 정도였다면 어머니께서 바로 소스 안에 들어간 토하젓을 알아보시더라구요. 그렇게 비벼먹는데 정말 맛났습니다. 전주냉면 특성상 육전에 배가 들어가 맛난건 당연한 건데 토하젓까지 곁들이니 맛이 없을 수가 없습니다. 익힌 육회비빔밥도 좋았어요. 익히느라 다른 음식에 비해 늦게 나오긴 했는데, 익혀달란 건 육회고 비빔밥까지 기대하진 않았습니다만, 모든 나물을 다 익혔더라구요. 그러니 먹었을 때 씹기 편하고 따로 익혔는지는 모르겠으나 섞였을 때 나는 잡내? 가 없이 깔끔했습니다. 어르신에 대한 배려가 느껴져서 좋았어요. 선지국밥에 나오는 국과 같은 베이스로 국도 나왔구요. 물론 선지국밥의 고기가 훨씬 풍부했습니다만, 저 구성에서는 선지국밥이 좀 약했어요. 맛난 음식이었는데 다른 음식들의 파괴력이 높아서 임팩트가 약하달까요(...) 원래 후기 남기는 사람이 아니라 사진은 당연히 없고 먹고 난다음에 기념으로 찍은 사진 뿐입니다. 냉면이 9천원, 9500원한다하면 덮어놓고 비싸다 하시는 어머니께서 가격은 한 마디도 안하시고 맛나게 잘 드셔서 좋았습니다. 찬거/매운거 가리고, 짠거 못먹고, 밑반찬도 요구치가 높은데 이미 어느 정도 배부른 상태에서도 잘 먹었어요. 전주 하연옥도 그리 괜찮다네요. 사천시의 특성을 고려해서인지 어르신에 대한 배려가 느껴져서 더욱 좋았습니다. 추천합니다.
