  0. 사게에 도쿄여행 사진을 올리며 덧붙인 말이기도 하지만 이번에 도쿄를 방문하면서는 맛있다고 검증된 집들을 찾아서 가보는 게 목표였습니다. 구글맵에 30개 정도의 업소를 저장하고 갔습니다만 실제로 방문한 곳은 5곳 정도였고 나머지는 즉흥적으로 가거나 현지 친구들의 추천으로 갔습니다. 여행에 동행한 친구와 삿포로 여행 중에 징기스칸을 여러번 먹을 정도로 징기스칸을 좋아하는데, 마침 구글맵에 맛집 지도를 만들 때 큰 도움을 받은 고래박군님 블로그에도 징기스칸 요리집이 신주쿠에 있길래 방문했습니다. 자세한 정보는 고래박군님 블로그 주소인 http://whalegoon.com/110185292568?Redirect=Log&from=postView 에서 보실 수 있습니다. 제가 작성할 것들은 위 블로그에 나온 이야기에 첨부하는 정도로 그칠 것 같습니다. 1. 예약은 정말 필수입니다. 제가 방문했을 때 한국인 3분이서 가게를 운영하고 계셨으니 전화 후 한국인임을 밝히고 예약을 할 수 있지 않을까 싶습니다. 방문 후 금새 모든 자리가 꽉 찼고 이후 예약없이 온 손님들이 대기도 불가능하다는 이야기를 듣고 떠났으니 방문계획이 있으면 해두시는 게 좋을 거에요. 2. 저희가 시킨 메뉴는 기본 징기스칸에 마스타스컷, 함박스테이크에 밥추가 정도였습니다. 이만큼만 먹어도 충분히 배가 불러서 더 시키진 않았습니다. 삿포로에서 익히 먹던 징기스칸처럼 맛있게 먹었는데 차이점은 소스와 기본적으로 올라오는 숙주와 양파가 아니라 파와 양파였다는 것이 가장 큰 차이였습니다. (다시 생각해봐도 삿포로 다루마에서 파를 구워주는게 정말 맛있었다고 생각합니다.) 이 외에는 라임사와와 생맥주, 샐러드도 주문했고 샐러드는 입맛에 맞지 않아서 적당히 남겼습니다. 함박스테이크에는 블로그대로 치즈를 얹을까 했으나 직원분께서 갈릭버터를 강추하셔서 먹었습니다. 달달하니 맛이 있었으나 치즈를 먹었으면 어땠을까? 하는 아쉬움이 있었고 징기스칸 요리라는 생각은 별로 들지 않아서 징기스칸을 좋아한다면 마스타스컷이나 기본 징기스칸을 추가해서 먹는 게 더 좋을 수도 있다 생각합니다. 이 함박스테이크는 조금 남았을 때 밥을 비벼서 약간 익혀줍니다. 아주 한국적인 방식이고 맛은 있었습니다. 밥 메뉴는 삿포로의 다루마나 한국에서 그 다루마를 그대로 본따 만든 이치류(과거 이름이 다루마야였습니다만 변경한 상태입니다)에서처럼 오차즈케를 먹는 게 좀 더 맛있었다고 생각합니다. 3. 기본적으로 삿포로의 다루마보다 양고기맛 자체를 즐기는 경험이 되었고 전반적으로 삿포로에서 먹는 것이 좀 더 나은 경험이었으나 징기스칸을 즐긴다는 점에서는 매우 만족스러운 경험이었고 한국인분들만 운영하시니 메뉴를 시키거나 말을 할 때 불편함이 없어서 좋았습니다. 구글맵으로 찾기에는 번화가 속에 있어서 좀 어려워서 예약시간을 맞춰 가기가 빠듯했네요. 1층은 다른 가게가 있어서 2층의 간판을 잘 찾아 가야 합니다.
