지난 월요일 저녁에 Beer Inside님이 추천해주신 메밀국수집 송옥에 가서 메밀국수를 먹었습니다. 지난주 내내 너무나 입맛이 없어서 무엇을 먹어야 할까 참으로 고민이 많았는데, 마침 메밀국수 생각이 나서 먹으려고 보니 근처에 잘하는 집이 없더군요. 멀리까지 갈 기운도 없고해서 컨디션이 좋아지면 꼭 먹으러가야지 벼르다가 다녀왔습니다. 맛있었어요. 정말 오랫만에 배부르게 많이 먹었습니다. 저는 소화기가 약한 편이라 탈이 잘나서 밀가루로 만들어진 음식은 항상 조심하는데 메밀은 소화도 잘되고 탈도 없지요. 참말 간수하기 힘든 몸뚱이에요. 탈이 잘나다보니 자연 칼로리를 빨리 보충할 수 있는 단맛이 강한 음식이나 쵸콜렛을 좋아하게 되더라고요. 광화문 세종문화회관을 등지고 오른편으로 쵸콜렛 전문점 '고디바'가 생겼지요. 고디바야 워낙 유명하니까 드셔본 분들이 많을 겁니다. 여기 쵸콜렛음료는 가격은 좀 비싼편이죠. 6000원이 좀 넘는 가격이었던 것으로 기억하는데, 제가 먹어본 것 중에서는 제일 맛이 좋습니다. 솔직히 여타 커피전문점이나 카페에서 파는 쵸콜렛음료와는 비교가 불가능합니다. 단맛과 쓴맛 그리고 짠맛이 아주 잘 조화되어 있고, 향이 매우 풍부하고 진합니다. 이런 표현이 가능할지 모르겠지만 정말 간이 딱 맞아요. 쵸콜렛음료는 여자들이 더 좋아하는 편인지 여기 들러 음료를 주문하고 이층에 올라가면 남자는 거의 찾기가 힘들더라고요.  래더라는 고디바보다는 덜 알려진 것 같습니다. 저도 잘 몰랐는데 사직동에 살 때 근처에 매장이 생겨 들어가 보았는데 가격에 놀라고 맛에 놀란 집입니다. 래더라 쵸콜렛을 먹어보고는 이런 생각을 했습니다. '내가 이제까지 먹었던 쵸콜렛은 다 가짜야. 다 썩은 거였어!' 제가 다른 것은 몰라도 홍차넷의 어떤 회원분보다 쵸콜렛은 많이 먹었다고 자부합니다. 크크크크크 별놈의 부심이 다 있다 싶으시겠지만 래더라 쵸콜렛이 그만큼 맛이 좋다는 이야기를 하고 싶어서요. 특히나 커다란 판모양으로 만들어 떼어내어 무게단위로 판매하는 프레쉬 쵸콜렛은 정말로 맛있습니다. 가격의 압박만 아니라면 365일 매일 먹고 싶을 정도입니다.  270g에 31000원 입니다. 저는 한 봉 뜯으면 앉은 자리에서 반 이상을 먹어치워요. 조금 더 큰 450g은 52000원입니다. 저렇게 포장이 되어 있는 것을 사시면 프레쉬 쵸콜렛을 조금씩 다 맛보면서 자기 입맛에 맞는 쵸콜렛을 고를 수 있어요. 취향이 정해지면 좋아하는 것으로만 무게단위로 구입할 수 있습니다. 아몬드밀크, 아몬드다크, 헤이즐넛밀크, 헤이즐넛다크, 넛믹스쳐화이트, 라즈베리블랙베리 화이트 등이 있는데 저는 라즈베리블랙베리화이트를 제일 좋아합니다. 중간에 보이는 분홍색 쵸콜렛이에요. 모두 100g당 11000원입니다.  래더라의 프랄린은 개당 가격이 2200원(약 11g정도)입니다. 셀렉션이라고 해서 선물포장을 해주는데 그렇게 하면 가격이 더 비싸집니다. 4피스들이 포장이 13000원!!! 푸헐헐... 눈물나는 가격이지만 쵸콜렛을 좋아해서 맛에 세심한 사람이나 연인에게 선물하긴 좋겠죠. 매장에는 커피나 기타 음료도 판매해서 음료와 함께 한두 개를 골라 먹어보는데 진짜 간에 기별도 안가요. 그대신 눈으로 실컷 호사를 누리지요. 혹시 발렌타인데이나 생일 등에 선물하실 거면 가까운 매장 찾아가시면 됩니다. 제가 갔던 곳은 경희궁점입니다. 사람이 별로 많이 안지나다니는 길이라 항상 한적한 편입니다. 이층에 테이블이 마련되어 있는데 깨끗하고 아늑합니다. 서울시 종로구 사직로 8길5, J&J빌딩 1층과 2층을 사용하고 있습니다.  경희궁점의 매장 사진입니다. 홈페이지에서 가져왔습니다. http://www.laderach.co.kr/?act=main 서울시내에 매장이 여러군데 있네요.
