홍차넷 여러분 안녕하십니까. 저는 현재 다니고 있는 회사의 팀원들 때문에 힘이 든 익명군이라고 합니다. 업계를 밝힐 수는 없지만 제가 속한 팀은 5명의 인원으로 이루어져 있고, 하는 일은 "태스크"라 불리는 매니지먼트가 필요한 일을 합니다. 이 태스크는 보통 짧게는 3달, 길게는 1년 가까이 진행되고요. 팀에게 할당된 태스크는 보통 25개에서 많게는 40개이니 한 사람당 4-5개에서 바쁠 때는 7개 정도 돌아갑니다. 저는 스스로 생각하길 내세울 것은 엉덩이밖에 없다고 보기에 열심히 해야만 합니다. 팀을 위한 헌신이니 이런 게 아니라 생존의 전략이지요. 그러다 보니 조금은 능력을 인정받은 것까지는 좋았으나 태스크를 계속해서 받게 되었습니다. 54개의 태스크에서 제가 14개의 태스크를 맡고 있으니 저의 능력으로는 예상밖의 일입니다. 여기까지는 좋아요. 도전 정신도 불러일으키고 일을 말끔히 처리할 때마다 조금씩 자신감도 붙고 말이죠. 그런데 딱 6개밖에 안 맞으면서도, 저랑 근무월수도 한 달밖에 차이 안 나는데 되게 거슬리는 사원이 있어요. 주중에 해도 되는 일을 주말 근무로 돌려서 급여 수당을 챙겨먹는다던가 태스크를 깔끔하게 처리하지 못한 채 휴가를 2-3일씩 써버려서 다른 사원이 수습하느라 반나절을 쓰게 만든다던가 저희와 단독으로 계약을 맺고 태스크 작업을 돕는 업체에게 아무도 모르게 자신의 태스크를 먼저 처리해달라. B직원의 태스크는 조금 미뤄도 좋다. B직원과는 얘기가 된 얘기이니 B직원이나 다른 직원에게 얘기할 필요 없다. 라고 훼방을 둔다든가 (물론 그런 얘기는 오간 적 없습니다) 이런 일들을 벌여요. 그런데 여성분이고 작고 귀엽고 자기 포장을 오지게 잘해서 윗 사람들에게는 사회생활 잘한다는 칭찬을 듣고 잘만 삽니다. 다른 사람은 똥빠지게 고생하는데요. 이런 걸 보면 제가 등신같고 스트레스를 많이 받게 되네요. 아 이래서 약게 처신해야 하는 건가 하고 회의감도 많이 들고요... 아싸리 신경 안 쓰는 방법은 없을까요? 어차피 상황 자체를 제가 변경할 힘은 없거든요.
