며칠 전 질문게시판에 격투 게임이 하고 싶다는 글을 썼습니다. 일단 격투게임이라곤 오락실에서 컴퓨터한테 한 판을 제대로 이기기 힘든 뉴비인데다 특히 스파 시리즈는 아예 해본 적이 없기 때문에 스토리 모드부터 돌입. 근데... 기술표도 모르고 마구잡이로 누르는데도 컴퓨터가 무너집니다? 너무 쉬운데? 난이도가 점점 올라가는거 같은데...? 하다 보니 스토리 모드 끗. 알고 보니 오락실 격투게임처럼 6-7판쯤 깨고 보스 잡는 그런 아케이드 모드가 아니라 캐릭터마다 튜토리얼 수준으로 쉬운 2-3판만 이기면 끝나는 거였습니다. 허탈... 갑자기 돈이 아깝다는 생각이 미친듯이 들기 시작합니다. 컴 사양이 훌륭한 건 아니지만 어쨌든 VGA가 GTX780인데 갑작스런 프레임 저하가 일어납니다. 옵션 낮췄는데 답이 안 나옵니다. 검색해보니 엔비디아 설정을 바꿔보랍니다. 안 됩니다. 백신을 꺼보랍니다. 안 됩니다. 마지막으로 1달 동안 업데이트 안 했던 드라이버를 업뎃하니 일단 지금 당장은 괜찮은데 이거 무척 거슬리네요. 의욕이 급격히 저하됩니다. 어쨌든 꾸역꾸역 스토리모드 다 깼습니다. 이제 기술표를 보면서 마음 놓고 컴퓨터를 쥐어패주면 됩니다. 무슨 캐릭을 할까 하다가 잡기 캐릭이 땡겨서 장기에프 근데 말이죠, 저는 엑박 패드로 게임을 하는데 스틱 돌리는 게 왜이리 어려울까요. 엄지 아래로 돌려도 안 되고, 손가락 끝으로 잡고 돌려도 안 되고, 심지어 십자키를 눌러도 스틱 돌리는 커맨드가 안 됩니다. 아 물론 기술이 잘 나갈 때도 있습니다만 종합적으로는 성공률이 50% 미만이라 이건 아닌 거 같다는 느낌이 몰려옵니다. 게다가 필살기는 스틱을 2번 돌려야해요! 결국 30분 동안 씨름하다가 장기에프는 저랑 인연이 아닌가보다 하고 포기. 결국 미카를 골랐습니다. 어... 재밌네요. 재밌어요. 기술이 잘 들어갑니다. 스틱 돌리는 거라고 해봤자 장풍 or 붕권으로 익숙한 ↓↘→ 이거 아니면 좀 더 옆으로 돌려주는 게 다라서 기술 어지간하면 다 써먹을 수 있네요. 대충 막 눌러도 콤보 들어가고 데미지도 잘 박혀요. 오오 재미가 있습니다. 돈값 걱정은 안드로메다로 날아갔어요. 그리고 결정적으로 필살기도 쓸 수 있습니다! 프로레슬러 컨셉이라 꽤나 필살기 컷씬이 선정성 문제로 수정됐다고 유저 그래픽 패치도 있던데 이건 깔기 귀찮아서 나중에 다른 모드랑 한꺼번에 깔든가 해야겠어요. 일단은 밥먹고 컴퓨터 상대로 장작패기나 좀 더 해야...
