최근 롤판에서 에코라는 챔피언이 참 핫합니다. 출시 이전부터 PBE서버에서 플레이와 스킬 설명을 읽어본 사람들의 사기챔프다 라는 소리를 시작으로 북미 플레이어들의 입소문을 타고 마지막으로 한국에 출시되고 수 많은 사람들이 플레이 해보며 이건 정말 라이엇이 챔프 팔아먹을려고 일부러 사기챔프로 만든거다 라는 말을 합니다.그리고 곧 너프 당할것이고 야스오나 다이애나의 뒤를 따라갈 것이라는 예측을 내놓습니다. 이러한 예측을 기반해 사람들이 말하는 에코의 사기성은 1.W스킬 2.R스킬 3.패시브 에 있다고 합니다. 하나 하나 뜯어보면 참 사기입니다. W스킬에는 상대방의 체력이 30% 이하일때 잃은 체력의 퍼뎀으로 딜이 들어가고, 조건부지만 W에는 광역 스턴과 AP계수에 기반하는 쉴드도 있습니다. 거기에 5초전 위치로 돌아갈 수 있으며 순간 무적판정을 받고 4초전까지 입었던 피해를 %로 회복하기도 합니다. 마지막 패시브는 3타에 강력한 딜이 들어가고 거기에 에코의 이속까지 빨라져 추노가 가능하게 만들어줍니다.이러한 유틸성이 사기라고 말합니다. 저는 에코를 보면서 뽀삐가 그렇게 떠오를 수 없습니다. 스킬 하나 하나 뜯어보면 정말 사기스킬만 모아놨는데 막상 다 모아놨더니 잉? 이게 뭐야? 구리자나? 라는 말이 절로 나오게 만듭니다. 그 이유는 라인푸쉬가 안되고, 막상 궁쓰고 때려야 하는데 뚜벅이라는 한계, 그리고 엄청난 마나소모량입니다. 이러한 단점이 장점을 모두 상쇄할 만큼 치명적으로 다가오기 때문에 사기적인 스킬셋을 가지고 있음에도 명확한 한계성이 보이는것이지요. 그럼 마찬가지로 에코에게 뽀삐처럼 치명적인 결함이 있을까요? 저는 "YES" 라고 답하고 싶습니다. 에코의 컨셉은 근접 암살자 입니다. 근접 암살자 주제에 Q의 스킬은 초반 파밍을 도와줍니다. E스킬은 대쉬기 입니다. 순간적으로 2단 대쉬로 상대에세 근접해 갑니다. 그래서 에코를 잘 모르는 사람이 1랩에 Q스킬에 긁히고 2랩 먼저 찍은 에코에게 어이없는 킬을 내주기도 합니다. 이는 카시오페아도 마찮가지 입니다. 작년에 카시오페아 관련글 올리면서 부케로 플레티넘->다이아 헬퍼소리 들어가면서 찍을때 30게임 넘게 한것 같은데 그때 80~90% 이상은 카시로 2랩에 솔킬 냈습니다. 사람들이 리워크된 카시의 딜도 모르고 카시 자체를 잘 몰라서 어어? 죽습니다. 한 일주일 지나고 카시가 쎈 걸 아는 사람들은 2랩부터 적당히 사라기 시작합니다. 지금 에코가 사기소리 듣는것도 에코를 잘 모르는 사람들이 대처를 못해 죽는 이유가 크다고 봅니다.  [암살자의 기본 컨셉] 그리고 제일 큰 이유는 에코의 컨셉이 모순적이라는 겁니다. 이게 제가 그렇게 에코는 절대 사기챔프가 아니라고 주장하는 이유입니다. 우선 에코는 꽤나 사기스러운 AP계수에 컨셉도 암살자 입니다. 암살자라는건 상대를 죽이고 나는 살아남는 챔프, 즉 한타에서 "적 딜러 삭제"라는 역할이 확실한 챔프입니다.그런데 과연 에코는 그게 가능할까요? 물론 소규모 국지전에선 그게 가능합니다. 무식하게 E로 진입해서 W깔고 Q맞추고 싸우다 상대방 커버가 오면 죽이진 못해도 R로 도망갈 수 있거든요. 어차피 죽이진 못해도 상대 딜러 피를 깎을 수 있고 손해는 아닙니다. 하지만 한타에서 여러 사람들이 에코의 사기성으로 가장 많이 말하는 유틸성이 발목을 잡습니다. 암살자 주제에 유틸성까지 갖추다니 참 사기챔프아 아닐수가 없구나 라고 생각했던 사람들이 여러번 한타를 해보고 상대의 대처가 늘어나면 뭐지? 이 챔프의 정체가? 왜 이렇게 무기력하단 말인가? 라는 말이 안나올 수 없습니다. 암살자 주제에 스텟은 자이라보다 조금 더 나은 수준, 암살자의 기본 조건인 딜링과 어그로가 동시에 안된다는 점, 이게 무슨말인가 하면 탈론은 암살과 동시에 은신으로 어그로를 빼고 도망갈 수 있습니다. 물론 핑크와드라는 존재가 있지만 이속도 40%나 빨라진다는 등 어그로 뺄 수 있고, 그리고 동시에 광역딜을 할 수 있다는 점에서 암살자의 역활을 다 하고 있습니다.제드 또한 한타에서도 순간적으로 원하는 챔프에 딜링을 하고 어그로 빼면서 암살을 할 수 있습니다. 물론 존야라는 암살자 카운터 템이있고 수은장식띠라는 아이템이 있어 후반에 힘이 빠지긴 하지만 딜링과 어그로를 동시에 뺄 수 있는 스킬이 존재합니다. 얼마나 얍삽합니까? 또한 뽀삐 같은 챔프는 무식하게 스킬을 다 무시하면서 너만 죽일꺼야 라며 한챔프 바라기로 무식하게 어그로 다 끌고 암살하고 살아나가기도 합니다. 에코는 돌진기가 있습니다. 2단 돌진기가 있음에도 한타에서 함부러 돌진할 수 없습니다. 암살을 하기 위해선 필연적으로 돌진해야 하지만 스킬포함 패시브 3타 터트리고 스킬 더 돌려야 하는데 이게 한계점 이기도 합니다.물론 템이 나온다면 패시브 3타에 죽기도 하지만 다른 암살자와 다르게 시간도 걸리고 템 자체가 더 나와야 합니다. 다른 탈론,제드 같은 경우는 6랩만 찍으면 충분히 암살이 가능하다는 점에서도 비교 되는 점이기도 합니다.그리고 무엇보다 탈진에 너무 약한 모습을 보여줍니다.그래서 결국 암살자인 주제에 유틸성은 좋지만 암살은 못하고 상대방 딜러한테 가서 얼굴 한번 보고 인사"안녕" 하고 궁으로 어그로 빼야하는 슬픈 상황이 나옵니다. 마치 AP샤코의 한타를 보는듯한 느낌이 드실겁니다. 암살자가 아니라 그냥 딸피사냥꾼이라는 포지션이 더 잘 어울리지만 딸피사냥꾼은 팀이 딜 다 하고 있을때 구경하다가 딸피 마무리하고 궁으로 나와야 합니다만 글쎄요. 마치 AP 티모가 한타에서 어슬렁 거리다가 Q로 막타 챙기는 느낌일겁니다. 즉 AP 계수가 높고 유틸성이 높다고 해서 AP템으로 갔다간 그냥 AP티모급 한타기여력으로 에코충 소리 들을겁니다. 그럼 과연 에코는 어떤식으로 플레이 해야 희망이 있을까? 저는 단연코 에코는 정글또는 탑으로 가야 한다고 생각합니다. 그것도 AD챔프로 딜탱 포지션, 즉 이렐리아와 같은 포지션으로 게임해야 한다고 봅니다. 첫번째 코어템으로 트포를 가고 두번째 템은 상황에 맞는 방템을 갑니다. 에코가 암살자 컨셉임에도 암살이 안되고 어그로 빼버리면 딜이 없어 팀에 화력이 부족한 경우가 크지만, 반대로 에코의 유틸성을 이용해 탱킹력을 보태고 딜탱 포지션을 보내면 앞라인에서 딜링과 탱킹, 그리고 사기라고 평가 받는 부분을 극대화 시켜 어그로도 빼면서 한타를 지배할 수 있다고 봅니다. 단순히 에코의 AP계수를 보고 현혹되어 미드AP 암살자 챔프로 쓰지 마시고 트포 이후에 탱을 가는 이렐리아처럼 쓰시면 광역스턴과 슬로우 그리고 순간 어그로 빼면서 받은 피해를 %로 회복하는 챔프로 쓰시면 아주 좋을겁니다. 한줄 요약. 에코는 AP로 가면 나쁨. 솔랭에서는 라인전 도중의 국지전만으로 스노우볼이 굴러가는 게임도 많기 때문에, 에코는 분명히 너프당할거라고 봅니다. 또한 너프당할 만큼의 성능이고요. 물론 장판스턴 맞추기가 정말로 어렵습니다만 팀파이트때 판테온 궁과 비슷한 느낌으로 cc연계의 마지막 단계에서 활용 가치가 충분하다고 생각됩니다. 그리고 본문에서는 에코와 비교하여 탈론, 제드등 기존 암살자를 너무 고평가한 경향이 없지 않나 싶습니다. 탈론이야 템 나오면 그냥 휘젓고 다니지만 템 나오기까지가 고통스럽고, 제드같은 경우는 라인전은 괜찮습니다만 템이 상당히 좋게 뽑혀야 암살... 더 보기
