랍스터, 킬링 디어를 만든 요르고스 란티모스 감독 작품입니다. 베니스 영화제 심사위원대상을 받았고 평론가들에게 상당히 호평받은 작품입니다. 앤 여왕 재위 프랑스와 전쟁중인 배경입니다. 가볍게 요약하면 영국판 여인천하라고 할 수 있습니다. 하지만 훨씬 건조하고 욕망을 잘 묘사하고 있습니다. 이 영화는 배우들의 연기가 정말 인상적인 영화입니다.  말버리 부인 영국판 최순실이라고 보면 될까요? 여왕의 마음을 사로잡고 있는 여인이며 국가의 중요 정책에 막강한 영향력을 발휘합니다. 레이챌 바이스는 그동안 그냥 이쁜 언니로만 나오는 배우라고 생각했는데 이 영화를 보고 재평가하게 됐습니다. 차갑고 노련한 정치인 역할을 훌륭히 해냅니다.  애비게일 말버리 부인의 친척으로 가문이 몰락하고 외국에 팔려갔다가 친척인 사라(말버리 부인)의 도움 받아 새출발 해보려고 궁으로 들어옵니다. 엠마스톤도 어메징 스파이더맨에서 그냥 이쁘기만 한 배우로 나올 줄 알았는데 이 친구는 정말 가진게 너무나 많은 친구입니다. 같은 연기를 하더라도 더 많은 표정을 보여줄 수 있습니다. 이쁜데 이런것 까지 타고나다니 정말 대단합니다. 앞으로 어떤 역할을 맡을 지 정말 기대됩니다.  앤 여왕 처음에 그냥 멍청이로만 나와서 사라와 애비게일에 밀리고 조연으로 생각했습니다. 그런데 정말 표현하기 어려운 케릭터를 잘 표현했습니다. 아카데미 여우주연상을 받을 만합니다. 한 케릭터에 이렇게 다양한 변주를 위화감 없이 줄 수 있는건 정말 대단합니다.  할리 당수 야당 당수로 니콜라스 홀트가 나왔을 때 뭔가 웃겼는데 기센 언니들 3명 상대로 밀리지 않게 연기를 잘 하네요. 비중이 위의 3명에 비하면 미미하지만 의외로 정말 잘 어울려서 기억에 남습니다. 임모탈님께서 다 해주실거야를 외치던 워보이가 이제 혼자서도 잘 살아남습니다. 영국역사에 문외한이라 앤 여왕이 어느 시대 사람이지? 막 궁금해 하면서 봤습니다. 내용을 보니 명예혁명 이후 입헌군주제 정치상황 같은데 아는게 없으니 보면서 답답한 것이 있었습니다. 이 인물들이 정말 실존인물인가 계속 궁금합니다. 어디까지가 역사적 사실인지도 그렇고요. 하지만 영화는 정치보다는 개인의 욕망에 초점이 맞혀져 있고요. 귀족들의 위선적인 추잡함을 상징적으로 잘 표현합니다. 이 감독의 영화중 이번 편이 가장 별로라고 말하는 분들도 계시지만 영화 완성도 자체는 페이버릿이 가장 높다고 생각합니다. 영화는 미쟝센도 그렇고 전체적으로 바로크 시대 분위기를 멋지게 연출합니다. 상징을 너무나도 좋아하는 감독답게 상황을 미술품 배경으로 요약해 놓기도 하고요. 다만 이 감독 특유의 투박한 사운드 연출이 거슬리는 분들도 있을 것 같습니다. 내용은 보는 사람들 취향에 따라 안맞는 부분들이 있을 겁니다. 요르고스 란티모스 감독은 드네 빌뇌브 감독 작품 처음 봤을 때 처럼 자신만의 색깔을 확실히 드러내는 감독입니다. 요르고스를 비교해서 평가하자면 허무주의에 빠진 빌뇌브 감독같은 느낌입니다. 빌뇌브 감독이 복수에 대한 분노와 슬픔을 차갑게 터트린다면 요르고스는 복수 같은거 하면 뭐하냐 어차리 우린 다 하찮은 존재야라고 말합니다. 드네 빌뇌브 감독이 헐리우드 시스템에서 점점 평범해져가는 느낌을 받는데 요르고스는 그렇게 될 것 같지는 않은 느낌입니다. 그리고 이 감독 블럭버스터도 자기식으로 잘 만들 것 같습니다. 아직 액션에 손을 안됐는데 어떨지 궁금합니다. 그리고 이 감독 유머 감각도 좀 있습니다. 전작 영화들도 상징물로 깨알 같이 가져오고요. 1줄평 케릭터들의 뛰어난 연기와 심리전의 향연 4.5/5 ---- 약 스포(?: 엔딩에 대한 해석인데 너무 뻔해서) 드래그하면 볼 수 있습니다. --- 마지막 장면 역시 감독 스타일로 나오는데 저도 뭐야 이렇게 끝내는 거야? 왜냐면 저는 티란티노 처럼 끝에 몰아 놓고 다 죽이는 통쾌한 영화를 좋아하니까요 하지만 감독 메세지 전달에는 가장 잘 부합하는 엔딩 같습니다. 애비게일은 그렇게 창녀로 팔려가기 싫어했고 인생의 승리자가 된듯 하지만 그저 여왕의 창녀일 뿐이죠. 어쩌면 토끼보다 못한 존재일지도 모릅니다. ---------------- Warning: Use of undefined constant no - assumed 'no' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 133 Warning: Use of undefined constant no - assumed 'no' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 146 Warning: Use of undefined constant vote - assumed 'vote' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 161 3 |
