얼마전부터 데스티니 가디언즈를 시작해서 이제 포세이큰까지 막 끝냈습니다. 템파밍이 주요 컨텐츠인 MMORPG를 별로 좋아하진 않는 편인데 이 게임은 상당히 재밌게 했습니다. FPS 울렁증이 있어서 시련의 장과 겜빗 할때는 어버버 거린다는 거 빼곤. 이 글에서는 게임성이 어떻고 이런 걸 말하고 싶은 건 아니고 그냥 제가 좋아하는 캐릭터들의 목소리에 대한 간단한 글을 써보고 싶었습니다. #1. 고스트 게임 인트로 영상에 등장한 고스트의 목소리. 동료로써 플레이어와 함께 붙어다니는 존재이기 때문에 가장 많이 들을 목소리죠. 개인적으로 남자 목소리 듣고 섹시하다고 느낀 적은 처음입니다. 포세이큰 오프닝, 1:54부터 2:53까지. 이후에도 케이드의 재밌는 인게임 대사들이 나오는데 치명적인 스포일러가 나오기 때문에 혹시나 게임을 플레이 하실 분들은 주의 해 주세요. 그 외에도 비장미 넘치는 순간에도 깨알 같이 웃음을 선사하기도 합니다.
한국 더빙이 안되어 있지만 홍보 영상에서도 개그미를 풍신 풍겼죠. 마지막에 "루트할게 많다!"고 하는데 이건 "템파밍 할게 산더미다!" 정도의 의미라고. #3. 안전장치 안전장치와 케이드의 말싸움. 그리고 유일하게 정상적인 고스트. 게임중 하다 보면 만나는 이중인격을 가진 AI, 안전장치. 수세기 동안 잠들어 있다가 케이드 때문에 난데없이 적들의 공격을 받게 된 비운의 캐릭터이자, 자신과 함께 여행을 했던 팀원 그리고 그들을 이끌던 함장을 찾아 다니는 순애보적인 캐릭터이기도 합니다. 데스티니 가디언즈 커뮤니티에서 종종 볼수 있는게 목꼴캐릭터라 불릴정도로 매력적입니다. 사실 사기라도 그렇고 이 게임의 기계 여캐 목소리들은 다 매력적이죠.  출처 - 데스티니 마이너 갤러리  출처 - 루리웹 데스티니 가디언즈 게시판 사실 게임 내 한글번역이 똥 같을 때가 있고(무조준 사격을 허리높이 사격이라 번역한 거라든지...) 닥치고 파밍파밍파밍만 하는 게임이라 지루한 부분도 있지만, 그럼에도 제가 데스티니 가디언즈에 몰입하는 이유는 한국어 더빙의 섹시함 때문(?)인거 같습니다. 차기 DLC가 어떤 이야기를 담고 있을지는 모르겠지만 캐릭터들의 매력이 살아있는 목소리들을 들을수 있었으면 좋겠습니다. 블리자드가 자주 택하는 완역으로 시작하다가 의역하고 직역이 일관성도 없이 뒤섞여 있고, 자주 쓰는 외래어는 완역한답시고 아무도 안 쓰는 단어로 번역해놓질 않나, 더빙도 컷신은 영상 길이를 고려해서 그나마 괜찮은거지, 스크립트만 보고 번역했구나 싶은 대사는 연기가 좋은데도 어색해요.(그나마 데스티니가 양반인 건, 블랙 옵스4는 이것도 못해서 발연기의 향연입니다. 물론 연기자 문제가 아니죠.)
개인적으로는 PVP 쪽으로만 플레이했는데 PVP 쪽은 진짜 스크립트만 보고 번역했구나 싶을 정도로 성우가 대놓고 국어책 읽기를 합니다. 안타까울 정도에요. 진짜 제대로만 준비했어도 초창기 와우보다 더 완성도가 높았을거에요. 그래서 이렇게 혹평하지만, 특별히 정성이 들어간 구간은 마음에 듭니다. 대표적으로 레이드 던전인 리바이어던이 가장 괜찮더군요.
