저는 DC든 마블이든 가리지 않고 나오는 모든 영화를 보는 사람인데... DC영화에 아쉬운건 왜이렇게 조급했을까 하는 점입니다. 분명히 맨오브스틸은 아이언맨 1의 충격에 비할 작품은 아닙니다만, 저는 꽤나 수작이라고 생각합니다. '슈퍼맨'이라는 캐릭터에대해 잘 모르는 일반관객인 '저'가 봐도 그의 '인간다움'에 대한 고민이나 내적갈등도 잘 녹여냈고, 인상적인 빌런과 액션씬 다 훌륭했고 또 슈퍼맨이 비행하는 장면마저 볼 맛이 있었거든요. 그런데 갑자기 배트맨 솔로무비도 건너뛰더니 '배댓슈'를 만들기 시작하는데... 이게 뭔가 만듦새를 떠나서 너무 급작스럽단 말이죠. 다크나이트가 물론 배트맨영화긴 하지만서도, 이건 DC세계관과는 평행우주로 봐야 되는거 잖아요. 그럼 배트맨 솔로무비를 (배댓슈처럼 늙은 배트맨을 기준으로) 하나 잘 찍어놓고 배댓슈를 만드는건 어땠을까하는, 그 첫단추. 그게 지금의 이 애매한 영화들이 쏟아지는 사태를 만들었다고 생각해요. 거기다가 급작스러운 수스쿼는 진짜 이게 뭔가 싶었죠. 아니 지금 히어로들도 제대로 자리를 못잡고있는데 빌런영화라니? 이런 생각이 들었어요. 결과는 뭐... 이번 저스티스리그도 너무 급박하게 마블을 쫓아간다는 생각이 들었습니다. <원더우먼>영화를 나름 잘 뽑았으면 적어도 <아쿠아맨>, <플래시>정도는 밟아줬어야 하는거 아니었을까요? 안그래도 빠듯한 상영시간에 새로운 캐릭터를 3명이나 우겨넣고, 걔네들 설명하고, 거기다가 전작의 주인공도 다시 나와야되는 이 엄청난 미션. 도대체 이걸 누가 어떻게 2시간에 녹여낸단 말입니까. 어떻게 보면 <저스티스리그>를 이정도로만 만든것도 참 대단하다고 생각해요. 왜냐면 이건 애초에 기획이 잘못됐다는 생각이 들어요. 솔직히 <어밴져스>가 나오기 전까지의 작품. 인크레더블 헐크, 토르1, 캡아 햐.. 이건 뭐 지금보니까 그래도 볼만하다 수준이지 그 전에 인지도0 이었을때 '보통관객'이었던 저는 뭐 이런게 나오지? 싶었죠. 근데 어벤져스로 모아지니까 그 쾌감이 있었는데... 하여간 '급할 수록 돌아가라'는 말이 생각납니다. 지금이라도 저스티스리그가 좀 천천히 히어로 하나하나 개성을 뽐내는 단독 영화들을 만들어주길 바랍니다. 한 세 편 정도 나오고나서, 다시 한 번 뭉칩시다.
