유럽 축구는 막바지로 가고 있지만, 국내 축구는 이제 개막입니다. 와─ 드디어 시즌 시작이다─ 국내 축구의 겨울이 유렵 축구의 여름만큼 뜨거운 건 아니지만, 국가대표와 리그를 가릴 것 없이 이슈가 빵빵 터졌죠. 물론 시즌 시작 이후에도 이슈는 터지고 있습니다. 최대한 아는 대로 쓰려고는 하는데, 워낙 많은 일이 일어나서 다 다룰 수 있을지는 모르겠네요. #. 국가대표  슈틸리케 감독은 지난 11월에 있었던 우즈베키스탄과의 단두대 매치에서 승리해서 한 숨을 돌렸죠. 그렇지만 3월의 두 경기도 그에 못지 않게 중요도가 높은 경기들입니다. 중국과 시리아 모두 조 하위 팀이기 때문에 두 경기를 모두 이겨서 승점 6점을 챙겨야 앞으로의 일정에 부담이 적기 때문이죠. 거기다 남은 일정(카타르 원정 - 이란 홈 - 우즈벡 원정)이 험난해서 이번 A매치 주간에 이란과 우즈벡이 나란히 승점을 쌓는다면 다음 경기들도 긴장을 풀 수 없게 됩니다. 그리고 우즈벡전이 끝나고 외국인 코치를 새로 영입한다는 축협의 발표가 있었는데, 기간이 기간이다보니 수준있는 외국인 코치는 당연히 영입을 못하고, 대신 성균관대를 지휘하던 설기현감독을 코치로 영입했습니다. 축구팬들 사이에서는 다른 사람들은 제쳐두고 왜 하필 설기현이냐라는 의견이 압도적으로 많았습니다. 왜냐하면... 포항시절의 먹튀후 시즌 시작 직전에 [울산으로 이적] → 울산에서도 연봉에 비하면 활약이 썩 좋지는 않았고 → 인천으로 이적한 뒤에도 관중석으로 공을 냅다 차거나 → 설기현을 중심으로 전술을 다 짜 놓은 시즌 시작 직전에 갑자기 [은퇴하고 라이센스도 없는데 성균관대 감독으로 부임] ...이었는데, 이번 코치 선임 발표 1주일 후에 1분기 대학축구의 최대 이벤트인 전국춘계대학축구연맹전이 있었기 때문이죠. 팬들은 '이번에도 통수냐'를 외치기 시작했고, 축협은 성균관대 감독직은 그대로 유지하는 형태라고 해명을 하긴 했지만, 성균관대 입장에선 대회 직전에 감독이 사라지는 상황이라 여론이 썩 좋지는 않았습니다. 성균관대를 강팀으로 만들어 놓아서 능력은 있는데, 지도자가 된지 올해로 3년차라 경력이 너무 없고, 언론에서도 차두리 전력분석관과 같이 형님리더십을 강조하는걸 보면, 슈틸리케 감독 본인은 뛰어난 전술적인 능력을 가진 코치보다는 선수들을 장악하는데 유리한 코치를 선호한다는 느낌이 강하게 들긴 하네요. 그리고 중국전과 시리아전을 대비한 소집명단이 발표되었습니다. FW 김신욱(전북), 이정협(부산), 황희찬(잘츠부르크, 오스트리아) MF 지동원, 구자철(아우크스부르크, 독일), 남태희(레퀴야, 카타르), 기성용(스완지, 잉글랜드), 손흥민(토트넘, 잉글랜드), 한국영(알 가라파, 카타르), 고명진(알 라이얀, 카타르), 정우영(충칭 리판, 중국), 허용준(전남) + 김보경(전북) DF- 김민혁(사간 도스, 일본), 최철순, 김진수, 이용(전북), 김기희(상하이 선화, 중국) 홍정호(장쑤 쑤닝, 중국), 장현수(광저우 푸리, 중국), GK- 김승규(비셀 고베, 일본), 권순태(가시마 앤틀러스, 일본), 김동준(성남) 이번 선발명단 역시 크게 달라진 것이 없습니다. 감독 취임 당시에 말했던 소속팀 경기력을 우선한다라는 공약은 내버린지 오래되었죠. 중국 슈퍼리그가 리그 개막 직전에 외국인 선수 정책을 바꾸면서 홍정호를 제외하면 모든 선수가 개막하고 한 경기도 뛰지 못했는데, 기존에 선발되었던 중국파 선수들이 그대로 뽑혔고, 명단 발표 한참 전에 부상당해서 경기도 뛸 수 없는 곽태휘를 뽑았다가 4일만에 김보경을 대신 뽑는 촌극까지 벌어졌구요(김민우는 명단 발표 후 리그경기에서 부상당했습니다). 기성용도 부상에서 갓 복귀했죠. 이런저런 이유로 제대로 된 경기력을 기대할 수 없는 선수가 8명정도 됩니다. 이재성의 부상으로 전남의 허용준이 말 그대로 깜짝발탁 되었는데, 전남 팬들 사이에서도 의문을 가진 목소리도 있는걸로 봐선 출전해서 활약하기를 바라기엔 무리가 있을겁니다. 중국전은 오늘 밤 8시 35분에 중국 창사에서, 시리아전은 28일 밤 8시에 서울에서 열립니다. #. U-20 대표  올해는 5월에 우리나에서 20세 이하 선수들의 월드컵이 열리죠. 전주 월드컵 경기장, 수원 월드컵 경기장, 인천 축구전용구장, 천안 종합운동장, 제주 월드컵 경기장, 대전 월드컵 경기장에서 24개 국가들이 경기를 치릅니다. K리그 팀들의 홈구장으로 쓰이는 경기장들이라 월드컵 기간엔 전북, 수원 삼성, 인천, 제주, 대전은 대체구장에서 홈경기를 치르거나 원정경기만 가야 하는 험난한 일정이 기다리고 있습니다. 지난주 수요일에 조추첨식이 있었죠. 그리고...  마라도나가 허정무의 태권킥의 복수를 하는 듯 보란듯이 아르헨티나를 A조에 집어넣었고(...), 기니와 잉글랜드까지 같은조에 편성되서 포클랜드 더비까지 볼 수 있게 되었습니다. U-17 월드컵 때도 브라질을 이기거나 로테이션 멤버로 잉글랜드와 무승부를 거두거나 해서 정말 어려운 상대는 아니긴 합니다만, 공은 둥그니 언제 어디서 변수가 나올지는 모릅니다. 그리고 월드컵을 준비하기 위해 25일부터 에콰도르, 잠비아, 온두라스를 초청해서 4개국 친선대회를 진행하는데, 그 명단은 이렇습니다. GK 송범근(고려대), 이준(연세대), 안준수(세레소 오사카, 일본) DF 정태욱(아주대), 김민호, 김승우(연세대), 이상민(숭실대), 이유현(전남), 강윤성(대전), 우찬양(포항), 윤종규(FC서울), 노우성(전주대), 신찬우(연세대) MF 이진현, 오인표(성균관대), 김정민(금호고), 한찬희(전남), 이승모(포항), 임민혁(FC서울), 이상헌(울산), 백승호, 이승우(FC바르셀로나, 스페인), 김무건(제주) FW 강지훈(용인대), 김경민(전주대), 하승운(연세대), 조영욱(고려대) 프로무대 데뷔한 선수들 가운데 이번 명단에서 주목할만한 선수는 데뷔하자마자 전남 중원의 핵심이 된 한찬희죠. 금호고의 김정민도 전부터 눈에 띄었던 가능성 있는 유망주구요. 대학생 선수들은... 제가 가진 정보가 하나도 없네요(...) 어제 인천과의 연습경기(30분 * 3)가 있었는데, 이번에 발탁되지 않은 김진야가 골을 넣는 등 0 : 4로 완패했습니다. 조직력 문제가 있고, 새로 시험하려는 선수들도 있고, 무엇보다 연습경기라서 이제 막 시즌을 시작한 프로선수들과의 경기는 힘들 수 밖에 없겠죠. #. K리그 작년보다는 조금 조용했던 이적시장이 지나고 드디어 개막했습니다. 이번 겨울의 이적시장을 주도한건 다른 팀도 아니라 승격팀인 강원이었죠. 매일 아침 7시 오피셜이라는 기막힌 방법으로 축구팬들의 관심을 한 번에 끌어모았습니다. 그 외에 성공적인 이적시장을 보낸 팀으로는 리그의 알짜배기 선수들만 골라담은 제주, 공격진은 아쉽지만 수비진 전체를 갈아엎듯이 영입한 전북, 유스인 대건고의 황금세대들이 합류한 인천, 언제나 국가대표급 선수들이 합류하는 상주, 강등되었는데 전력이 더 강해보이는 수원FC정도로 보입니다.  3라운드까지 치러졌는데 무패팀이 셋입니다. 제주가 강력한 전력을 과시하면서 영입효과를 확실하게 보고 있죠. 전북은 핵심선수들이 줄줄이 이적하거나 이탈해서 작년에 비해 전력이 확연히 떨어졌지만 그래도 이미 가진 선수층으로 버티고 있고, FC서울은 말 그대로 꾸역꾸역 버텨내고 있습니다. 경기력이 썩 좋은 편은 아닌데다 오심 사건까지 터졌지만 어쨌든 무패(...). 그리고 무승팀이 넷입니다. 대구는 개막전을 패배하고 인천과 수원 삼성에 연달아 비기면서 무승, 인천은 일정이 워낙 험난해서(제주홈 - 대구원정 - 전북홈) 무패지만 이정도면 잘 버텨냈다고 할 수 있죠. 수원 삼성은 분명히 올해는 다르다를 외쳤겠지만 작년과 동일한 경기패턴을 보이면서 아직 무승. 전남은 헝가리 리그 득점순위 1위중이었던 페체신의 영입효과를 보고 있기는 한데, 첫 세경기의 상대가 너무나도 강해서(전북원정 - 상주홈 - 제주원정) 아직 따낸 승점이 없습니다. 그리고 리그 시작답지 않게 굵직한 사건들이 생겼죠. 정리하자면... 평창 잔디문제 강원은 이번시즌 홈경기를 모두 평창에서 치릅니다. 작년 여름에 평창의 알펜시아 스키점프대를 활용해서 4경기를 치렀는데, 예상외로 호평이 이어지자 올시즌 홈경기 전부를 평창에서 치르겠다는 발표를 했죠. 그리고 서울과의 홈 개막전에서 호평에 가려왔던 문제가 터져나왔습니다. 일단 이번 겨울에 올림픽 테스트 이벤트를 여느라 겨울 내내 눈이 쌓여있어서 잔디가 모조리 죽은데다, 교통편이 좋지 않은데다 주차시설도 부족했고, 화장실과 먹거리같은 편의시설이 절대적으로 부족했으며, 조태룡 단장이 넥센시절의 정책인 비싼 티켓값까지 합쳐졌죠. 그 결과 가기도 어렵고 축구다운 축구를 할 수 없는 환경인데 입장권까지 더럽게 비싼, 말 그대로 최악의 경기가 치러졌습니다. 그 다음 경기인 포항전은 그나마 나아진 상태에서 치러지긴 했습니다만, 이번시즌 강원 프런트의 가장 큰 임무는 선수 영입도 아니고 구단 운영도 아닌 홈구장 관리가 될 듯 합니다. 오심논란 요즘 세계에서 가장 잘 나가는 스페인 프리메라리가도 심심하면 터지는게 오심이고, K리그 심판들의 자질문제가 하루이틀 나온 것도 아니지만, 매 라운드에 굵직한 오심이 터지면서 여론이 활활 타오르고 있습니다. 1라운드 - 울산 : 포항의 시즌 개막전의 결승골 오프사이드 오심 2라운드 - 수원 삼성 : 전북전. 패널티박스 안에서 수원 삼성의 서정진이 전북의 이승기에게 스터드를 들고 대놓고 무릎을 노린 태클을 노파울 선언. 이승기는 전방십자인대 파열로 2달동안 경기에 나오지 못할 예정이고, 서정진은 사후징계로 7경기 출장 정지를 받았습니다. 3라운드 - FC서울 : 광주. FC서울의 이상호가 올린 크로스가 이를 막으려고 페널티 박스 안에서 태클하던 광주의 박동진에 등에 맞았지만 핸드볼과 PK선언. 항의하던 박동진에게 경고. 그리고 패널티 박스 안의 비슷한 상황에서 FC서울엔 노파울, 광주엔 파울선언. 접촉 과정에서의 파울 선언은 심판의 재량이라고 하더라도 등에 맞은 공을 봤는데도 핸들링으로 선언한 건 변명의 여지가 없는 오심이었죠. 1라운드와 2라운드에서 터진 오심 논란으로 팬들이 부글부글 끓고 있었는데, 3라운드에 사건이라고 불릴 정도의 상황으로 번지면서 여론에 기름을 부어버린 결과가 되었습니다. 특히 광주의 입장에선 FC서울과 경기를 할 때마다 오심이 터지니 더 참을 수 없었을 겁니다. 경기 직후에 광주의 기영옥 단장이 이례적으로 기자회견을 요청하거나, 공중파 뉴스를 올킬하는 업적(...)도 이루면서 원래 심판 징계에 대한 공개를 하지 않는 연맹이 공식적으로 주심은 무기한 배정 정지, 부심은 리그에서 퇴출이라는 징계 내용까지 공개했습니다. 지금까지 심판이 경기 진행을 매끄럽지 못하게 한 점과 경기 후의 기자회견에서 심판 판정에 대해 언급하면 징계라는 다소 강압적인 규정 때문에 심판과 연맹에 대한 불신이 쌓여있었는데, 이번 사건으로 한번에 터졌다고 봐야 합니다. 시범운영이긴 하지만 비디오 판독이 하반기에 도입되는데, 이걸로 조금은 제대로 된 경기를 볼 수 있을 거라는 희망을 가져봐야죠.  이번 시즌의 챌린지는 고양과 충주가 빠지고 안산이 새로 합류하면서 10개 팀으로 치러집니다. 클래식의 전력을 거의 고스란히 가지고 있는데다 쏠쏠한 영입까지 한 수원FC는 예상대로 선두를 질주, 바로 다시 승격하겠다는 의지를 보여주고 있습니다. 그리고 예상외로 안산이 2승을 거두면서 돌풍의 중심으로 떠올랐죠. 내셔널리그의 최강팀인 미포조선의 선수들이 주축이긴 하지만 추가영입이 신인과 외국인 선수들밖에 없어서 프로 진입 첫 해엔 만만치 않은 경기를 할 것이라는 예상이 있었지 이정도로 잘 나갈 줄은 예상하지 못했을 테니까요. 서울E랜드는 영남대의 김병수 감독을 새로운 감독으로 선임하면서 챌린지의 화제의 중심에 섰었는데, 아직은 고전을 면치 못하고 있는 듯 하네요. 성남은 10명이 넘는 선수들이 부상으로 이탈상태라 제대로 된 전력이 아니라서 승점을 쌓지 못 하고 있습니다. 아마 부상 선수들이 모두 돌아올 4월 중후반까지는 기다려야겠죠. 안양은 충주를 이끌었던 김종필 감독이 새로 부임하고 자신이 충주시절에 아꼈던 선수들을 새로 영입했는데, 단조로운 전술 때문에 이번 시즌의 새로운 승점 자판기가 될 가능성이 생겼습니다. #. ACL 전북이 징계로 출전권을 박탈당하면서 올해는 FC서울(클래식 우승), 수원 삼성(FA컵 우승), 제주(클래식 3위), 울산(클래식 4위, 플레이오프 통과)이 경기를 치릅니다.  울산은 다소 고전중입니다. 키치(태국)와의 플레이오프도 승부차기 끝에 간신히 통과했고, 가시마 원정에선 권순태에게 막히면서(...) 패배했죠. 브리즈번과의 홈경기에서 대승을 거뒀지만, 무앙통과의 경기는 무승부. 태국 원정과 호주 원정이 남아있기 때문에 조금은 힘든 상황입니다.  FC서울은 사실상 조별리그 탈락입니다. 상하이 상강과의 개막전에선 헐크에게 한방을 얻어맞으면서 패배, 가시와 원정에서 일명 GS25 대참사(...)를 당한데다, 이어진 웨스턴 시드니와의 홈경기에서도 3슈팅 3실점이라는 굴욕을 당하면서 3패로 최하위. 자력 진출은 커녕 경우의 수를 따져봐도 먼지같은 진출 가능성에 걸어야 합니다. 거기에 상하이 원정에 호주 원정까지 가야해서 일정도 좋지 않구요.  수원 삼성은 선전하고 있습니다. 슈퍼리그 최강팀인 광저우 헝다를 상대로 경기 후반에 동점골을 허용하긴 했지만 앞서나가는 모습을 보여주었죠. 거기에 광저우 헝다는 열심히 삽질중이고, 가와사키 프론탈레도 썩 좋지 않은 모습을 보여주고 있어서 광저우 원정과 홍콩 원정이라는 일정만 잘 넘기면 16강에 진출할 가능성이 꽤 있습니다.  제주는 오랜만에 진출한 ACL에서 말 그대로 돌풍을 보여주고 있습니다. 이번 겨울 이적시장에서 알짜배기 자원들만 쏙쏙 영입한 이유는 리그와 ACL을 동시에 치르기 위해서였죠. 장쑤와의 경기에선 경기 종료 직전에 하미레스에게 골을 내주면서 아쉽게 졌지만, 감바 오사카를 원정에서 말 그대로 도륙내고(...), 그 어려운 호주 원정에선 난타전 끝에 비기는 등 분위기가 좋습니다. 거기에 남은 일정에서 원정경기가 중국원정밖에 없다는 걸 생각하면, 제주가 16강에 올라설 가능성은 매우 높을 겁니다. #.
