에 사실 지금 막 드는 생각이라기보단 원래 몇몇 친구들과 얘기했던 생각인데, 막상 수능이 다가오니 써봅니다. ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ 요즘엔 폐지되었다고 알고 있습니다만 제가 학교 다닐때는 수시1학기라는 제도가 있었습니다. 고3 1학기까지인지 고2까지인진 옛날이라 잘 기억안나는데 아무튼 그때까지의 내신+대학별 논술이나 면접 등등으로만 대학을 가는 것이었죠 그거 후엔 수시2학기라고 또 수능보다 약간 이른 타이밍에 보는 게 있었는데 보통 급이 좀 되는 학교들은 수능 최저등급제를 실시했습니다. 합격해도 수능에서 최저등급을 둔 것이었죠. 그래도 명문대들도 대개 2등급 2개(탐구는 2개를 2등급맞아야 1개로 인정)정도의 널널한 기준이었기 때문에 수능은 중요하지 않았습니다. 어쨌든 1학기수시들로 대학을 노리는 학생들도 많았는데, 500점만점에 300이 안 되는 애들, 2등급이 없는 애들 이런 애들도 서울 상위권의 대학에 가고 이런 경우가 꽤 있었지요. 제 학교는 모의등을 보면 전교 1~10등까지 중에 여자애는 9~10등 하기도 하고 못들기도 하고 하는애 한 명이 있고 다 남자였습니다. 그런데 내신은 내신관리를 잘하는 그런 여학생들 있잖아요? 그런애들이 올킬하곤 했죠. 전교 1등부터 20등까지도 그리고 그런 애들이 수시로 다 좋은 대학을 가니까 남자애들+내신관리 안된 여자애들 열폭이 심했습니다. 그나마 2학기 수시는 2등급 2개정돈 맞아야 하니 뭐... 그렇게 반감이 강하진 않았습니다만, (그래도 명문대 가는 애들은 뒷담화를 좀 당했죠.) 쟨 실력도 없는데 대학을 가네. 어차피 가면 못버팀! 이라는 정신승리가 있었죠. 그런데 오랜 세월이 지나서 지금 보면 그때 수능으로 인서울을 못갈 애들이 수시로 인서울의 중하위부터 상위권 대학까지 여러 곳을 갔는데, 다 나름 잘 해서 잘 살더군요? 아니 오히려 그렇게 간 애들이 더 결과가 좋다능... 그래서 이거 수능이고 고딩공부고 뭐 그런거 다 X도 필요없는거 아닌가? 걍 적성+상식테스트+인성검사 이런거 잘 버무린 테스트 만들고 그걸봐서 이상한 노답이나 거르고, 걍 대학도 그런시험으로 보내는게 인재 옥석가리기엔 효율 더 좋겠네... 이런 얘기들을 한 적이 있습니다. ㅋㅋ 뭐 제 개인의 사례니까 별 근거는 없겠지요. 그냥 옛날 생각이 나서 뻘글을 썼습니다. 어쨌든 수능 보시는 분들 대박나시길.
