  '내일을 위한 시간 (Two days One night, 2014)' 아래는 스포일러가 있을지도 모르지만, 사실 알아도 상관없을 내용입니다. 월요일에는 산드라(마리옹 꼬띠아르)의 복직과 직원들의 보너스를 건 투표가 예정되어 있습니다. 그녀는 복직을 위해 주말 이틀동안 다른 직장동료들을 찾습니다. 그녀의 사정으로 시작한 영화는 그녀의 발걸음을 따라 다른 사람들의 사정을 마주하게 됩니다. 프레임. 그녀의 복직/직원의 보너스 양자택일은 구조적인 문제입니다. 그들과 상관없이 태양열판 제조업 경쟁이 심화되면서 생긴 상황이죠. 그들은 말합니다. '너의 복직과 보너스 중 선택하는 거는 내가 원한게 아니야.' 그들은 그들이 선택하지 않은 상황 속에서 선택해야만 하는 입장입니다. 그리고, 산드라와 직장동료들은 거듭 이 상황에 대해 본인이 미안해 합니다. '너가 과반을 넘으면 나한테는 재앙이겠지만, 그래도 행운을 빌어줄게.' 영화에서 산드라와 직장동료들은 계속 일대일로 마주합니다. 이 장면에서 감독은 이들의 대립 또는 긴장을 카메라 내에서 프레임으로 갈라놓아 둘이 처한 구조적 상황과 함께 표현합니다. 그녀는 직장 동료의 집 뒤 작업장에서 처음으로 직장동료와 마주하게 됩니다. 카메라는 여기서 그녀와 동료의 투샷을 철골 구조물 너머에서 잡아주는데 그녀를 이 구조물 내에 갇히게 표현함으로써 그녀가 처한 고립된 상황을 보여주죠. 2달 뒤 재계약이 걸린 계약직 직장 동료와 마주할 때 이번에는 그를 매우 좁은 프레임 내에서 보여줌으로써 그가 처한 어려운 상황도 보여줍니다. 월요일 투표가 끝나고 그녀는 직원식당에서 그녀를 지지해준 동료들과 마주하는데, 그 공간은 프레임이 없는 오픈된 곳입니다. 그녀가 가족들과 함께 있는 장면들처럼요. 이 영화에서는 유독 옆모습을 많이 잡아보여줍니다. 지나치게 산드라에게 감정이입하는 거를 막고, 시선을 타자화 시킵니다. 역시 이들의 문제가 개인적 문제라기보다는 구조적 문제임을 이해하는데 도움이 됩니다. 한편으로는 카메라에 보이지 않는 그들의 반대쪽 얼굴들, 겉으로는 괜찮아라고 하면서도 속으로는 무너져 내리고 있을, 표현되지 않는 복잡한 감정들을 상상하게도 됩니다. 월요일, 모두의 선택이 끝난 후 산드라도 자신의 선택의 순간을 마주하게 됩니다. 그녀는 어떤 선택을 했을까요? 그녀는, 그녀 입장에서 '우리'는 잘 싸웠습니다. 그리고 마지막에 그녀는 행복해 할 수 있습니다. 한국판 영화제목인 '내일을 위한 시간'은 의역인데, my job을 연상시키는 중의적인 표현으로 세련됐습니다. 그리고 월요일 너머의 산드라를 기대하게 해줍니다.
