예전에 Azurespace님이 [여자친구를 개선하는 신경망] 이라는 글을 통해, 만화 이미지를 리사이즈 하기 적합한 툴을 소개해주셨습니다. https://new.redtea.kr/pb/pb.php?id=free&no=977 오래간만에 해당 글을 다시 들어가서 살펴봤는데, 들어가보니 사이트가 바뀐 부분이 있더군요. 예전에는 별도의 옵션이 없었는데, 아래와 같이 Artwork과 photo 중에 하나를 선택하는 옵션이 추가되어 있었습니다. Artwok의 경우와 동일한 방법으로 인공신경망을 통해 손상된 사진의 정보도 어느정도 복원하는게 가능하다는 뜻이겠지요. 궁금해서 테스트를 돌려봤는데요. 프로듀스101에 참여중인 연습생 유정이의 사진을 인터넷에서 하나 구해서 300px 사이즈로 리사이즈 했습니다. 아무래도 크기를 좀 작게 하는게 화질차이를 보기에는 좋을 것 같아서요. 그리고 그 사진을 다시 150px로 리사이즈...  이렇게 얻은 150px짜리 사진을 포토샵과 w/a/ifu2x(http://waifu2x.udp.jp/)에서 다시 2배인 300px으로 리사이즈 해보았습니다. 결과는?  Artwork 때와 비슷하게 훌륭한 결과를 보여주네요. 참고로 원본과 비교해보면 다음과 같습니다.  이와 비슷한 내용으로 국내 연구결과가 보도된 기사도 있네요. [동아 사이언스] 흐릿한 사진에 ‘인공지능’ 돌려보니 http://www.dongascience.com/news/view/10968 요즘 알파고로 AI나 딥러닝등에 대해 관심이 많이 생기다보니 관련 기사도 나오고 하는 것 같습니다. 사진 옵션이 추가되었으니 이제 저해상도 이미지 활용해서 작업 할 일이 생기면 종종 이용해야겠다는 생각이 드네요.
