*본 글은 GS25/세븐일레븐/CU/한솥을 대상으로 작성되었습니다. 독서실 총무일을 한달 반정도 하면서, 매일 한끼 내지는 두끼를 도시락으로 해결했습니다. 도시락+컵라면 혹은 인스턴트 국 조합을 계속 먹었네요. 최근 이대로는 건강에 너무 악영향만 끼치는 식단이라는 생각에 밀스2.0 이라는 미숫가루 비슷한 영양밸런스가 좋은 파우더를 사서 먹기시작했습니다. 생각난 김에 먹었던 도시락에 대한 간단한 리뷰를 올려봅니다. GS25 1. 혜자 명불허전 모둠치킨 도시락 -나물의 맛이 좋습니다. 도시락중에서 혜자 도시락이 나물이 꽤 괜찮은 느낌. 햄계란 튀김, 떡갈비, 프라이드치킨, 스모크치킨, 나물 3종, 볶음김치의 구성으로 알찹니다. 3.3일까지 오뚜기이긴해도 육개장 사발면을 주는데다 가격이 3천원대 중반이라 진짜 혜자of혜자의 도시락이었다고 생각합니다. 육개장 사발면 증정이 사라져서 아쉽지만 스모크치킨의 맛이 참 괜찮고, 반찬이 다양하고 많아 밥이 약간 모자라다고 느껴질 수도 있습니다. 2. 신동엽 등심돈까스 도시락 -4500원이라는 가격은 좀 세지만, 등심돈까스가 꽤 괜찮습니다. 물론 전자렌지에 뎁혀서 눅눅하고 퍽퍽하긴 합니다만, 편의점 돈까스 도시락중에서는 나쁘지 않다고 생각합니다. 함께 들어있는 스파게티, 계란말이, 가라아게, 소세지, 볶음김치의 구성이 젊은 층이 좋아할만한 음식만 모아놨다는 점에서 매력적입니다. 스파게티가 짜지 않아서 부담이 없습니다. 돈까스가 7~8000원짜리 수준이 아닌걸 감안하더라도 먹을만한 도시락입니다. 3. 혜자 바싹 불고기류 도시락 -건새우가 싫어서 자주 먹지는 않습니다만, 정말 씹는 맛이 있는 불고기/고추장불고기 도시락입니다. 치킨너겟, 호박나물, 야채계란말이, 볶음김치, 콩나물무침등 밑반찬의 구성이 좋고, 밥을 한입크기로 나눠두어서 먹기 편합니다. 4천원의 가격이라서 모둠치킨 도시락과 매번 갈등하게 만듭니다만, 튀김류 반찬에 물릴때만큼은 진짜 좋은 대안이 되어줍니다. 4. 홍석천 치킨 도시락 -깐풍기와 치킨, 소세지가 함께 들어있는 도시락입니다. 명불허전 모듬치킨 도시락이 나오기전까지는 명실공히 치킨도시락의 선두를 달렸다고 봐도 될 만큼 구성이 튼실했으나, 같은 가격대에 큼직한 닭다리살과 스모크치킨을 넣어둔 혜자에게 팀킬당하는 느낌입니다. 하지만 두 도시락간의 맛의 차이가 있기 때문에 각자 취향에 맞아 골라먹어도 충분한 가성비를 담보할 수 있는 도시락입니다 5. 떡만두국 도시락 - 왕만두가 무려 3개나 들어있습니다. 깍두기가 큼직합니다. 밥, 깍두기, 떡만두국이라는 심플한 구성이지만 떡만두국을 좋아하는 분들에게 다른 대안은 존재할수 없을만큼 괜찮은 도시락입니다. 총평: GS25의 도시락들이 대단한 것은 혜자 원우먼쇼가 아니라는데에 있습니다. 홍석천 도시락, 식객도시락, 혜자도시락, 신동엽도시락이 빡세게 경쟁하고, 그래서 그런지 여타 다른 편의점에비해 다종의 도시락이 항상 구비되어 있는 편인 것 같습니다. 게다가 행사도 가장 적극적이라, 도시락을 사면 컵라면 증정이나 인스턴트 국 증정, 음료증정, 생수증정등 꽤 자주 행사가 있습니다. 도시락 자체의 품질로도 상당한 수준인데 행사까지 있으니 도시락 시장에서 깡패짓을 하는 셈이죠. 세븐일레븐 1. 혜리 김치찌개 도시락 - 정말 생각보다 김치찌개가 괜찮습니다. 돼지고기도 들어있고 두부도 들어있고.. 도시락과 찌개를 따로 데워야 한다는 점에서 귀찮다는 단점이 있습니다. 밑반찬에 계란말이가 있는 것이 신의 한수처럼 느껴집니다. 김치찌개가 매콤한 편이고, 고추기름이 많아 입가가 벌개집니다. 계란말이가 아주 적절하게 감싸주는 도시락입니다. 2. 혜리 11찬 도시락 -한때 혜자의 6첩도시락을 시작으로 붐이 일어난 소량 다종반찬 도시락의 극대화된 버전입니다. 4500원의 가격인데 반찬구성이 생선까스/불고기/맥적/계란장조림/깐쇼새우 등과 콩자반, 무말랭이, 볶음김치, 호박나물, 감자채볶음, 오징어채볶음 입니다. 밥은 기장밥입니다. 다른 도시락들이 흰쌀밥, 또는 흰쌀밥+검은깨 정도의 밥을 내놓는 것에 비해 영양구성이 더 알차다는 기분을 들게 해 줍니다(진짜 알찬지는 모르겠지만) 반찬이 너무 많아서 밥이 좀 모자랍니다. 3. 혜리 7찬 도시락 - 알짜배기 구성입니다. 치킨, 비엔나, 계란말이, 제육, 미니돈까스, 참나물, 볶음김치.. 그리고 흑미밥. 11찬과 비교했을때 좋은 차별화라고 생각했습니다. 11찬은 반찬이 다양하고 많지만 가격이 좀 더 세고 메인과 서브가 애매할만큼 양이 작게 나뉘어 있지만 7찬은 치킨이 튼실하고 계란말이도 큼직해서 보는 맛이 있습니다. 총평: gs25와 CU에 비해 홍보나 행사가 제대로 이뤄지지 않고, 두 업체가 빠르게 인테리어나 상품구성, 디자인, 품질에 신경쓰는 동안 가장 세련되어보였던(00년대에) 세븐일레븐의 마트 인테리어, 진열상품, 품질들이 조금 아쉬운 느낌이듭니다. 약간 촌스러운? 그러나 혜리도시락은 겉보기에 비해 매우 알찬 편이었습니다. 백종원, 혜자를 상대로 좋은 경쟁을 벌일 포텐이 있습니다. CU 1. 백종원 한판 도시락 -CU의 도시락은 백종원전과 후로나뉘는 것 같습니다. 백종원 도시락이 등판하고 나서는 많은 사람들이 CU에서 백종원 도시락만 찾는다고하더군요. 그 중에서도 가장 노멀한 한판 도시락은 다른 매장의 6찬,진수성찬, 7찬, 11찬 같은 도시락 컨셉입니다. 소세지의 맛이 스팸도 아니고 어육소세지도 아닌게 굉장히 맛있습니다. 어떤 이들은 백종원도시락을 캐리하는건 소세지 두 조각이라는 평도 있을 정도죠. 혜자와 라이벌 구도를 이루며 착한 가격을 뽐내지만, 나물류가 비교적 적다는 점에서 약간의 아쉬움이 있고, 대신 계란말이와 소세지의 맛과 식감이 제일 좋은 것 같습니다. 2. 백종원 매콤한 고추장불고기 도시락 - 정말 맵습니다. 비주얼적으로도 뭉툭 썬 고추 한개가 위에 올려져 있는 새빨간 불고기 도시락입니다. 쿨피스와 먹는것이 적절합니다. 쿨피스 증정행사 해줬으면 하는 도시락중 하나입니다. 백종원 도시락의 특징은 여타 도시락에 비해 맛이 확실히 강하다는 느낌이 듭니다. 개성있고요. 다른 고추장 불고기에 비해 확실히 맵고 확실히 달큰합니다. 백김치가 김치 대신 들어있는점이 센스있습니다. 3. 백종원 닭가슴살 찜닭 도시락 -사실 찜닭도시락이 아닌가 싶은데... 큼직한 닭가슴살과 야채가 양껏 들어있습니다. 간장양념이 절묘하고 걸쭉하게 배어있어서 간간합니다. 닭가슴살이라는 기호가 갖는 다이어트적 느낌을 주는 것 같지만 먹어보면 그럴리 없다는걸 깨달을 수 있습니다. 총평: 백종원 도시락들은 대체로 메인반찬들의 맛이 개성적입니다. 양도 많고.. 그래서 그런가 백종원 도시락은 CU내 다른 도시락을 너무 다 잡아먹어 버린것 같습니다. 그 말은 즉, CU의 백종원 도시락의 구성이 훌륭하다는 반증이기도 하죠. 밑반찬, 메인반찬 모두 맛으로 따지자면 도시락중에서 매우 괜찮은 편이지만 개성적인 맛이 있어서 호불호가 갈릴수도 있습니다. CU의 9찬밥상, 소불고기 도시락, 빅요일 도시락 시리즈 등등을 찾아보기 어려워 진 이유이기도 합니다. GS25가 다양한 메이커가 좋은 경쟁을 펼치는 반면, CU는 백종원의 학살이 일어나고 있는데 이는 도시락 품질에 비해서 사람들이 워낙 유명해진 백종원의 마케팅효과에 의해 백종원 도시락 시리즈를 더 많이 찾는 요인도 있어보입니다. CU의 갓지은 밥 시스템이나 햅쌀사용, 차가운 반찬 따로 빼고 데우는 용기 등 괜찮은 기존 도시락들이 빛을 못 보는건 아쉽습니다. 한솥도시락 1. 나시고랭 -4500원짜리 신메뉴입니다. 인도네시아 전통 볶음밥이며, 팩단위로 공급되는 것 같아서 곱빼기 꿀을 빨 수 없습니다. 맛은 뭐라 표현하기 어렵지만 맛있습니다. 동남아적인 스파이시한 볶음밥에 청양고추 토핑과 반숙계란후라이가 일품입니다. 돼지고기와 청양고추가 주는 식감이 심심할 수 있는 볶음밥의 식감을 확 살려줍니다. 새콤한 맛은 거의 없고 짭짤하고 자극적이면서 청양고추와의 조합이 매우 좋습니다. 매장에따라 청양고추 토핑 양을 조절할 수 있는 것 같습니다. 2. 돈치마요 -돈까스/치킨을 잘라서 데리야끼소스+마요네즈 소스로 계란지단과 비벼먹는 도시락입니다. 그냥 치킨마요보다 더 건강에 안좋은 느낌을 받는 대신 돈까스와 치킨으로 돼지, 닭의 매력을 함께 느낄 수 있습니다. 영양구성이요? 그건 내 알바 아니죠 같은 메뉴에요. 3. 돈까스 도련님 도시락 -한솥도시락의 메뉴가 금방 질리는 이유는, 메인 반찬이 떡산적, 치킨, 돈까스, 생선까스, 불고기, 제육볶음, 새우튀김 중에서 돌려막기를 해서 그렇습니다. 돈까스 도련님 도시락은 그중에서 3600원의 가격으로 떡산적, 치킨2조각, 돈까스를 다 맛본다는 점에서 가성비가 좋습니다. 500원의 계란후라이 추가와 200원의 밥곱빼기로 양껏 먹기에도 좋은 도시락입니다. 4. 고기고기 도시락 -소불고기/제육볶음이 메인인 도시락입니다. 고기볶음류가 다 짭짤해서 그런가 딱 보기에는 고기가 적은것같은데 먹다보면 밥이 모자랍니다. 그나마 튀김류를 피하고 싶을 때 고를 수 있는 몇 안되는 도시락입니다. 5. 돈까스카레 도시락 -한솥 카레는 꽤 스파이시한 맛이 강하고 진한 맛입니다. 약간 씁쓸함도 있나 싶을정도에요. 싼 값에 먹을 수 있는 매력적인 카레입니다. 다만 레토르트 카레의 특성상 건더기의 식감이 원 재료의 식감을 제대로 살리지 못하고, 건더기 자체가 적은데 돈까스 한 판이 그대로 올라가면서 맛과 식감을 동시에 잡아줍니다. 돈치마요보다 영양성분은 좀 더 나은듯한 기분을 주는데, 기분탓이에요. 6. 칠리포크 도시락 -탕수육을 4조각 준다는 점에서 창렬한 느낌이 들지만, 돈까스와 떡산적때문인가 결국 반찬은 남는 도시락입니다. 한솥도시락의 양식소스에 질렸을 때 칠리소스로 먹고싶다면 먹어볼만한 도시락입니다. 의외로 탕수육고기가 튼실한데 4조각 뿐이라 빡칩니다. 이쯤되면 떡산적, 돈까스 솔직히 질렸습니다. 7. 해피박스 도시락 -3천원이라는 가격이 깡패입니다. 무생채,김치,돈까스,탕수육,계란후라이, 밥. 가격에 비해 양은 충분하고, 반찬은 알짜로 모아놨다고 볼 수 있습니다. 한솥도시락이 전반적으로 가격에 비해 편의점 도시락에 밀린다고 생각하는데(특히 나물류 반찬이나 밑반찬이 부실하고 메인반찬이 너무 한정적) 해피박스만큼은 가성비의 아성을 지켜줍니다 총평: 한솥도시락이 편의점 도시락에게 갖는 장점은 그 자리에서 바로 조리해서 준다는 점인데, 빨리 내놔야 하는 특징때문인지는 몰라도 밥솥으로 지어둔 밥에 미리 튀겨논 반찬들을 렌지에 돌려서 내어줍니다. 그렇다보니 편의점 도시락보다 가성비도 나은지 모르겠고, 반찬퀄리티도 지금의 혜자/혜리/백종원에게 이길만큼 뛰어나지도 않은데 편의점에서 증정상품 행사까지 하면 한솥으로 발걸음이 잘 가질 않습니다. 한솥의 새로운 위기라고 생각합니다. 그나마 마요소스 시리즈/카레시리즈/나시고랭이 차별적인 메뉴이고 이 메뉴들이 어느정도 한솥의 시그니쳐급 지위를 획득한다는 점에서 아직 숨통은 트여있다고 봅니다만, 그 사이에 빨리 새로운 도시락을 개발해야 할 것 으로 보입니다. 특히 4000원 이하 메뉴의 메인반찬을 돌려막으면서 3~5천원대의 구성을 유지하는건 이제 낡았습니다. 게다가 과거 반찬 밑에 깔던 스파게티면 대신 샐러드(치커리?)를 간장소스에 무쳐주는데, 이것만으론 야채가 택도 없습니다. 매장마다 밑반찬(계절반찬)퀄리티와 양의 차이가 크고 야채구성이 너무 한심해서 앞으로 위기가 아닐까 싶습니다. 전반적으로 편의점 도시락들의 경쟁과 시장확산이 눈에 띕니다. 3사 도시락이면 독과점이라고 볼 수도 있을텐데, 그런 지적이 무색할만큼 새로운 도시락의 출시와 각종 행사, 마케팅이 경쟁적으로 일어나면서 식당물가 상승의 영향까지 받아 많은 사람들이 편의점 도시락을 애용하고 있습니다. 지금은 편의점에서 가장 순환이 빠른 매출을 보여주는게 도시락이라고 할 정도라더군요. 개인적으로 한솥이 아차하는 순간 확장된 도시락 시장 손님들을 죄다 뺏겨버릴수 있다는 점에서 중소도시락 업체들의 약진이 필요하다는 생각입니다. 그래도 여러분 가끔만 사서 드세요. 한달 반 내내 도시락으로 하루 한두끼니를 해결했더니 어우 몸이 찌고 붓고 아주... 식이섬유가 모자른 느낌에 미에로화이바를 사마시지 않나.. 그렇습니다. 건강에 썩 좋은건 아닌거같아요. 컵라면을 자주 같이 먹어서 그럴지도.. 편의점 도시락보다 한솥의 좋은 점은 밥이 따뜻하다는 것이겠지요.
도시락의 문제는 영양보다는 쉽게 물리는 것 입니다.
한두번 먹다보면 차라리 밥과 김치에 물을 말아서 먹지라는 생각도 들더군요.
