안녕하세요. 댓글은 몇 번 달았지만 글은 처음이네요. 제목처럼 올해 서른 둘. 곧 서른 셋을 바라보는 사람입니다. 이럴 적부터 암웨이니, NRC니 그들 말로 네트워크 판매.. 다단계에 대한 이야기를 많이 들어왔지요. 주변 친인척 중에도 알게 모르게 피해자가 있고, 조심해야겠구나 그렇게 생각하고 살다가 그 녀석을 만나고 말았네요. 평소 존경하던 의사 선생님이 계십니다. 지인의 소개를 통해 몇 차례 일을 도와드렸고, 식사나 술자리 하며 '지인' 정도의 범주로 생각할 수 있는 정도 분이셨죠. 그러다 연락이 뜸하고 한 1년 반만에 급히 필요한 일이 있으니 보자고 하시더라구요. 저는 제가 전공으로 하는 일이 필요하신가 하는 마음으로 한 걸음에 달려갔습니다만 결론 적으로는 ACN 가입... ACN은 간단히 말해 휴대폰, 알뜰폰 등의 가입을 유치하거나 저에게 처럼 다른 사람의 사업자 가입을 유도하여 수수료를 받는 사업입니다. 1년 반만에 급히 연락을 하셨을 때 눈치챘어야 하는데, 사업에 대한 실질 내용이나 수치보다 '대박'이라는 단어를 많이 사용할 때 알아채야 했었는데. 사람 좋은 척 하려고 네네 하다가 정신차려보니 기본 가입이 되어있네요. 집에 돌아와 고민해보니 성급했더라구요...성급했습니다. 가입비가 큰 돈도 아니고, 어떠한 강제 사항도 없다고 했지만 이건 제가 하고 싶은 일이 아니었다는 생각이 머리 속에서 떠나질 않네요. 더군다나 네트워크 판매의 본질은 나의 네트워크, 인맥을 통해 돈을 버는 것인데, 수익 여부나 상호호해성에 상관없이 나의, 내 지인의 네트워크를 수익을 관점에서 바라보게 되니까. 이건 저와 맞지 않는다는 생각이 들었습니다. 소심한 성격으로 직접 뭐라고 하진 못하고 그저 탈퇴하고 싶다 메시지만 보냈습니다. 뭐 한 것도 없습니다만 이런 고민 자체가 부담습니다. 어떤 식으로든 정리하려고요. 평소 존경하던 선생님이시고 주변에서도 인정 받는 분인데, 이런 상황으로 마주하다니요. 대박에 이어 가장 많이 이야기하신 '기회'. 진짜 제게 기회를 주시려던 것일까요. 이상 잠깐이라도 이동통신 벤더가 되볼 수도 있지 않을까 고민했던 평범남의 사연입니다. ps. 혹시 이쪽 종사자나 사업자가 계시다면, 이 사업 자체를 비난하는 것은 아니고요. 제 주관적인 견해인 점을 밝힙니다.
