안녕하세요. 그쪽에서 [라뱅]으로 활동했던 [치느]입니다. 새로운 커뮤니티가 태어난만큼 그냥 개인적으로 활동했던 커뮤니티 및 이상적인 커뮤니티상이 어떤지 글을 써볼까 합니다. (웹커뮤니티는 개인적인 관심사 중 하나입니다, 바꾸기 힘든 학교, 직업, 국가와 다르게 웹커뮤니티는 이동성이 강한 만큼 사회성에 대한 관찰이 용이하기 때문이죠.) 어쩌면 커뮤니티의 규칙을 만들기 전에 어떠한 커뮤니티를 추구하는지, 얘기해보는 것은 신규 커뮤니티에 있어 좋은 토론의 방향성이 될 거 같기도 합니다. 1. DC인사이드 스갤(스타크래프트갤러리) 및 정사갤(정치사회갤러리) -> 사람들의 온전한 자유의지가 이상적인 집단을 만든다. 스갤에서는 [등짝빠]라는 닉네임으로 활동했던 걸로 기억합니다. 싱하가 활동하고, 그때도 팬끼리의 분쟁 및 어그로성 글(73? 83?)도 많았지만, 자체 정화가 분명 가능한 시기였습니다. 전 나름 그 사이에서 배운대로 개념글을 쓰기 위해 노력했는데, 기억하는 사람은 없겠죠. 크크 나름 독창적인 짤방들, 재미있는 말장난 같은 장점도 있고, 옥에 티가 꽤 많았지만, 그래도 전체적으로 괜찮다는 느낌이 많았죠. 그리고 정사갤까지 동시에 활동하던 중에 노무현 대통령 탄핵 시즌을 맞이합니다. 커뮤니티들은 개죽이 깃발 아래 대동단결 합니다. 의견이 다양하지 않고, 하나의 의견으로 나와 다양성이 부족하다 생각할 순 있지만, 의견의 오프라인 표출 방식을 보았을 때, 민주적이고, 긍정적인 방향성을 보여주었다고 생각합니다. 그 시점에 저는 웹상의 공동체의 자율성이 세상을 바꿀 힘이 있다고 생각을 했었죠. 2. SLR클럽 - > 하나의 주제를 가진 소규모(?) 커뮤니티의 가능성 그리고 그 시점에 5D를 들고 다니는 형이 뽀대나 보여, 카메라 사이트를 기웃기웃 거리다가, SLR클럽을 가입하게 됩니다. 지금의 SLR클럽 자게의 주된 코드는 자게이, 독거노인, 아..아닙니다의 솔로, 소심함, 약간의 너드함이 주 코드였다면, 그때의 SLR클럽은 20~30대의 카메라를 좋아하는 (솔까 사진보다는 카메라) 사람들의 성향에 맞는 얘기들이 주로 오고 갔던 사이트였던 걸로 기억합니다. 순박한 자게 사람들과 일면을 보고 말장난에 설문조사를 하며 재밌게 놀았던 기억이 나네요. 이때 DC의 대세는 스갤에서 정사갤, 코갤로 이동하기 시작합니다. 개인적으로는 일베의 씨앗이 소수로 스갤에 있었다면, 정사갤 및 코갤(코미디프로그램)에서 새싹이 났다고 봅니다. 그 혐오스런 표현들로 인해, 점점 DC를 멀리하였습니다. 이 때, 인간의 자유의지로만 이루어진 사회에 의심을 가졌고, 그 때 만난 사이트가 3. PGR21 - > 올바르고 적절한 통제력이 이상적인 커뮤니티를 만들 수 있다. PGR21이었습니다. 본래는 스갤에서 꼰대같은 PGR을 까기 바빴지만, 설명의 퀄리티와 무관한 설명충의 유전자를 지닌 지라, 자연스럽게 PGR21을 가까이 하게 되었지요. 더불어 SLR클럽의 경우 글 리젠 속도가 어마어마해져서, 후에 자게이 라는 일면글 모음 사이트로 주 서식지 이동을 하게 됩니다. (주로 보기만 하지만요.) 실제로 글에 대한 통제가 있는 만큼, 정말 다양한 주제로 양질의 좋은 글들이 저의 지적재미를 충족시켜주었습니다. 운영자의 조치는 과도할 때도 있었지만, 대체로 룰 자체가 사람들간의 올바른 논의를 북돋아주고, 기분 나쁜 유머 코드를 자를 수 있는 데, 큰 도움을 주었습니다. 인간의 과도한 자유(방종)는 올바르지 않은 방향성을 가질 때가 있고(일베) 적절한 통제가 더 이상적인 모습이 된다. 라고 나름의 결론을 가지게 되죠. 4. ??? - > 소수가 컨트롤 하는 부적절한 통제는 여러 부작용을 낳는다. 그리고 최근 활동하던 자게이(SLR클럽)와 PGR21은 통제력의 문제로 큰 위기를 맞이 했었습니다. SLR클럽은 소수 특혜를 주던 여시 사건으로 네임드들 대부분이 떠나고, 글리젠속도가 현격히 떨어졌습니다. PGR21은 원숭이 사건의 빠르지 못한 대처 + 사과 없음 으로 인해 위기를 맞게 되었구요. 개인적으로는 어떠한 웹커뮤니티가 이상적일지 맨붕에 빠졌고, 그러한 이상적인 웹커뮤니티가 오프라인 상으로 어떻게 적용될 수 있는지에 대해서는 가지도 못했습니다. 그러한 상황에서 홍차넷을 가입하였습니다.
