미리 말씀드리면 이 글은 무성애자나 플라토닉 러브를 지향하는 사람을 제외한 내용입니다. 그리고 주제가 주제니만큼 사회 통념상 저속한 단어나 표현이 나오니 그런게 싫으시면 읽지 말아주세요. 또한 근거라는게 그냥 남성으로서의 소위 뇌피셜이니까 객관성은 담보하지 않고 여성분이 읽으면 모욕감이나 분노를 느낄수도 있으니 미리 주의해드립니다. 사회적으로 남성과 여성의 성욕에 대해 기본적으로 갖는 편견이 있습니다. 보통 여성은 정서적 교감을 바라고 남자들은 육체적 교감을 바라니까 여성이 남자보다 더 순수하다 같이 말이죠. 하지만 제가 생각하기엔 결국 둘다 성욕에 기반한 욕구인거고 그저 발산 방법의 차이니 본질적으론 같은거라고 봅니다. 오히려 그 '정서적' 교감이 육체적 교감 못지않게 심각한 경우도 많습니다. 한 4~5년 전쯤 여성시대 대란이 터졌었는데 그 결정적 계기는 남초사이트의 운영자랑 모종의 밀약을 맺고 남초사이트의 서버 자원을 자기들 야동 돌려보는데에 사용했던 사건입니다. 그 야동들에는 여성향 야동뿐만 아니라 남자들이 볼법한 하드한 야동들도 같이 들어있었죠. 근데 주목할 부분은 이게 아니라 곁다리로 튀어나온 여초사이트 진입장벽 너머의 실상이었습니다. 마약, 낙태, 도박, 도촬, 불법거래 등등 일반적인 남초사이트에서는 운영자에 의해 검열될만한 내용들이 버젓이 올라온채로 방치돼있었고 그중에서도 이 글에서 주목할 것은 야설입니다. 세간에서는 이미 남자들은 야동같이 시각적인 매체를 더 많이보고 반면 여자들은 야설같이 상상에 의존하는 매체를 많이 본다고 알려져 있어서 야설을 본다는건 그다지 놀라운 사실은 아니었습니다. 문제는 그 내용이었죠. 다들 그 야설들이 로맨스 소설에서 성적인 부분을 조금 가미한 아름다운 섹스 같은걸로 생각했는데 실상은 남초사이트 못지않게 소돔과 고모라가 펼쳐지는 공간이었고 그중에서 눈에 띄었던게 RPF였습니다. RPF는 Real Person Fiction의 줄임말, 그러니까 실존 인물 가지고 쓰는 픽션입니다. 연예인, 위인, 아는 지인 등 실존 인물의 범위는 다양합니다. 어찌보면 대체역사소설들도 RPF로 볼 수 있겠죠. 그리고 유명한 삼국지연의도 RPF에 들어갑니다. 근데 여초사이트에서 쓰이는 RPF가 연예인들끼리 그냥 사이좋게 꽁냥꽁냥하는거면 크게 문제삼을 일은 아니겠지만 성적인 내용이 들어가니까 문제가 됩니다. 단순히 자신이랑 연예인이랑 섹스하는 팬픽이면 남초사이트에서도 연예인 상대로 온갖 성욕을 발산해대니 그려러니 했겠지만 연예인끼리 섹스라던가 심지어 동성 연예인끼리의 섹스도 나옵니다. 말은 많지만 케이팝 걸그룹이나 보이그룹이나 둘다 자신의 성을 상품화해서 파는 직업입니다. 그렇기에 성에 대해서 완전히 무지한 사람이 아닌이상 자신이 소비자로부터 성적 대상화가 될것은 어느정도 각오하고 하는 일이죠. 그런데 자기 동료들끼리, 그것도 동성끼리 섹스요? 상상도 못한 일일겁니다. 본인들이 본다면 성적 수치심은 물론이고 다음날 동료 얼굴 어떻게 봐야하나부터 걱정할겁니다. 사실 남성들이 연예인으로 성적인 RPF를 안쓰는건 아닙니다. 디시인사이드에서도 걸그룹 갤러리나 광기가 지배하는 갤러리들을 보면 그런 소설이 많이 보입니다. 하지만 그 공간을 지배하는 주제의 특수성에 기인할뿐 그 밖으로 나와 다른 갤러리로 가면 한결같이 역겹다고 탄압당하거나 미X놈들이라고 낄낄거릴뿐이죠. 더 나아가선 인실X 당해보라고 소속사에게 신고넣어버리는 경우도 있구요. 그러면 여성들이 이런 야설을 쓰는게 소수인거 아니냐 하실수도 있어요. 예 그럴수도 있고 이게 다수라는 근거는 없습니다. 하지만 이렇게 쓰는건 제가 합리적 의심이란걸 일으킬만한 다른 일을 겪어서 그렇습니다. 2년전에 인천에서 한 여고생(정확히는 고등학교를 자퇴한 청소년)이 초등학생을 유괴해서 살인한 사건이 있었습니다. 동기는 금전이나 그런게 아니라 본인 성격문제도 있었고 그러다가 자캐 커뮤니티에 심취해서였다고 알고 있는데요. 자캐 커뮤니티는 간단히 말해 자기가 만든 캐릭터를 자랑하거나 피드백을 받거나 그걸 기반으로 타인과 교류하는 커뮤니티입니다. 그냥 중2병 마냥 시간이 지나면 그만둘만한 주제라서 그것 자체는 별 문제는 아닙니다. 자캐 커뮤니티 활동을 하면 필연적으로 하게되는게 멤버놀이입니다. 또래 아이들은 멤놀이라고 줄여부르는거 같은데 이게 뭐냐면 카톡방같은거 하나 파고선 자기가 원하는 캐릭터에 빙의해서 역할극을 하는 행위입니다. 자캐 커뮤니티라면 자기가 만든 캐릭터에 빙의해서 그런 역할놀이를 하는거죠. 그 캐릭터가 실존 연예인일수도 있어서 저같은 경우엔 부모님 재혼 관계로 생긴 여동생이 연예인 멤놀방에 인원수가 부족하니까 대타를 해달라고 해서 겪어봤는데, 아... 정말 항마력이 부족해서 견디기가 힘들더라구요. 괜히 멤놀이 여자애들 사이에서만 유행하는게 아닙니다. 일반적인 남자들은 정말 견디기가 힘들어요... 위 사건에서 이런거 조사하신 검사님 존경합니다. 여튼 문득 생각이 드는게 애들이 2차성징 전이든 후든 성욕이 있는데 성에 대한 개념이 잡혀있질 않다보니 이런식의 정서적 방법으로 해소하는게 아닌가 생각이 들더라구요. 중학생 정도만 되면 이런 멤놀의 주제가 업그레이드됩니다. 업그레이드 방향이 성적인 방향일수도 있고 좀더 위험한 느낌의 방향일수도 있죠. 위 사건 검사님이 조사한것만 봐도 19금은 당연하고 범죄, 고어, 살인 등과 같이 남성향에서도 배척받는 주제들을 가지고도 멤놀방을 여는 경우가 있다는것 같습니다. 차라리 섹스가 훨씬 건전하다고 생각될 정도죠. 멤버놀이가 정서적 교감을 위한 컨텐츠라고 생각한다면 위의 야설과 방식만 다를뿐 같은 궤를 형성하고 있고 이런 정서적 교감에서 성희롱, 범죄같은 내용이 일반적으로 등장한다면 육체적 교감보다 얼마나 깨끗하다는건지 잘 모르겠습니다. 그리고 남성이 육체적 교감을 추구하는것으로 인해 직접적인 성추행이나 뭐 그런것 때문에 더 더러운 성욕이라고 하실수는 있습니다. 반대로 여성이 힘을 가졌다면 남성만큼 성추행을 해오거나 그런걸 할것 같지는 않습니다. 생물학적으로 여성은 임신으로 인해 난교에 매우 불리한지라 불특정 다수를 상대로 추파를 날려봤자 득이 안되니까요. 다만 남성만큼은 안할뿐이지 임신을 감수할 메리트가 있는 특정 상대로는 얼마든지 추파를 날립니다. 그리고 여성이 바람피는 경우가 드라마에서만 나오는 일이 아닌걸 보면 솔직히 여성이 행하는 육체적 교감조차 남성의 그것과 다를게 없다고 느껴집니다. 그저 사회화나 신체적 차이때문에 생기는 반응의 차이가 아닌가 싶네요. 그래서 결론은 여성의 성욕이나 남성의 성욕이나 더러운건 매한가지라는 겁니다. 그저 그러한 행위가 성욕으로 인해 발생한 행위인지 아닌지를 판별하지 못하고 있기 때문에 이런 어느 한쪽이 낫다는 편견이 생기는거지요. 물론 성행위가 더럽다는 의미는 아닙니다. 어디까지나 더럽다는건 사회적 통념상 더럽다는 의미고 저는 솔직히 도덕적인 결격이 행해져야하는 성적 취향이 아닌이상 딱히 더럽다고 생각하진 않습니다. 로맨스던 BDSM이던 항문성교건 동성애건 쌍방이 좋다고하고 행위 자체에 도덕적 문제가 있는게 아닌이상 존중받아 마땅하죠. 그저 어느 한쪽만 더럽다고 하는건 내로남불이라는 푸념입니다.
