(3년전 갔던 소바집인데, 지난번 멍청한 실수로 사진이 지워져서 복원합니다.) 약 3년전, 와이파이님께서 '오키나와'행을 결정하시어 저를 질질끌고 가시었습니다. 각종 검색을 통해 맛집리스트를 완성하신 와이파이님께서는 오키나와 북부에 있는 소바집으로 제가 운전하도록 지시하시었습니다. 그런데.....진짜 맛있었습니다. 와멘.(사진은 와이파이님 블로그에서 훔쳐왔습니다.) 자 바로 이곳입니다. 요샌 지점도 군데군데 생긴모양이지만, 제가 알기론 여기가 본점입니다. 100년된 노포이지요.. 11시에 문을 여는데, 11시 20분쯤 도착했는데 벌써 줄을 서야했습니다. 한여름 오키나와에서 그늘도 없는데 줄을 서 있는다는 건 고역이었지만 다들 아무 불만없이, 오히려 '기대감 가득한 행복한 표정'으로 서있어서 우리의 기대감도 커져만 갔습니다.  메뉴는 두 가지뿐. 소바와 영양밥뿐입니다. 소바 큰 사이즈 하나와 영양밥 하나를 주문했습니다.    맛이요? 아 진짜 환상의 맛입니다. 소바, 영양밥 둘다요. 제가 제 인생에서 먹어본 면류 중 최소 탑 5안에 들어갑니다. 처음 베트남 쌀국수를 호주에서 먹었을때의 충격만큼이나 대단했습니다. 그때 한 동안 라면 못먹었는데, 이 소바의 후유증도 그러했습니다. 영양밥도 고슬고슬하니 아주 훌륭하고 소바국물로 밥을 짓는다고 하니...역시나 그 맛이. 그리고 역시 일본 면은 면발이 핵심인데요, 식감, 쫄깃함이 환상인지라... 오키나와 북부를 여행하실일이 있다면 여긴 놓치지 마세요! https://www.google.co.kr/maps/place/26%C2%B039'37.2%22N+127%C2%B053'45.1%22E/@26.6606194,127.8954385,18z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x0 지도는 위 링크를 따라가시면 됩니다.
