안녕하세요 사진게시판에만 가끔 출몰하고 댓글로 간간히 생존신고하는 남화노선입니다. (닉네임 변경 기간이 언제나 올려나요. 닉이 너무 올드하네요 ㅠㅠ) 제가 클라리넷이란 악기를 취미로 꽤 오래 했는데, 이 악기의 매력을 알리고 싶어서 이렇게 글을 쓰게 됐습니다. 전공도 아니고 사실 중간에 입시다 뭐다 해서 악기를 놓은 적이 여러번이긴 한데 악기를 향한 애정 만큼은 누구한테도 지지 않는다고 믿습니다 흐흐 널리 알리는게 목적이니 구조, 역사 등에 대해 자세하게 쓰지 않고 흥미, 악기의 매력 위주로 쓰겠습니다. 연습은 안하고 매일 정보만 찾아서 쓰라고 하면 쓸 수 있습니다만.. 영상을 많이 첨부할텐데 시간이 부족하신 분들은 영상만 스킵~ 하셔도 좋고 여유가 있으신 분들은 들으시면서 읽으시면 좋을 것 같습니다. 원래 하나의 긴 글로 쓰려 했는데 너무 길어질 것 같아서 나눠서 써보려고 합니다. 호응이 별로 없으면 그냥 여기서 끝내구요 흐흐 1. 클라리넷?  대충 이렇게 생긴 악기입니다. 아마 한 번도 못보신 분들은 없을겁니다. 오케스트라, 실내악, 심포닉 밴드, 군악대/고적대, 재즈 앙상블, 터키/동유럽 전통 음악 등에서 다양하게 쓰입니다. 어디서 쓰이냐에 따라서 역할이 많이 달라지는데, 오케스트라에서는 조연, 밴드에서는 주연, 재즈는 시대에 따라서 중요한 솔로 악기였다가 아얘 쓰지 않는 악기, 군악대에서는 고음셔틀 겸 들러리(..) 정도로 보시면 됩니다. 2. 구조 - 리드  기본적으로 리드라고 하는 갈대 쪼가리가 떨려서 소리를 냅니다. 저 리드 관리가 중요한데, 이게 식물로 만든거라 수명이 제한적입니다. 브랜드마다, 각각 리드마다, 그리고 어떻게 쓰느냐에 따라서 다르지만 수명이 보통 한 달을 넘지 않습니다. 소리를 잘 나는 리드를 찾고 이걸 관리를 잘 해서 오래 쓰는 게 중요합니다. 게임에 비유하자면 리듬게임 안에 들어있는 매니지먼트 미니게임 정도라고 할까요.. 보통 관리는 경험이 쌓이면 쌓일수록 느는데, 리드 찾기 미니게임은 점점 어려워집니다.  한 박스를 뜯으면 이런 게 10개씩 들어있는데요, 초보 때는 보통 그냥 소리만 나면 되지! 하면서 그냥 다 씁니다. 좀 늘면 아! 얘네는 두껍구나, 얘네는 얇구나 하면서 반만 씁니다. 나중에는 아 소리 잘 나는 게 없네... 하면서 서너 개만 씁니다. 더 예민해지면 한 두개만 건집니다. 그러다 경지에 오르면 리드나이프, 사포, 트리머 등등 장비를 마구 지른 다음에 샥샥샥 갈고 자르고 찝어가면서 다시 반까 지 건집니다.   리드 나이프와 트리머입니다. 비행기에 악기 들고 타다가 검색대에서 안에 있는 리드 나이프가 걸려서 왜 칼을 들고 타냐고 공항에서 잡혀있었다는 무용담 아닌 무용담도 있습니다.. 대부분 프로들도 이정도 수준에서 멈춥니다만, 객기 넘치는 아마추어나 몇몇 프로들은 이런 걸 사다가 직접 깎습니다.  클라리넷을 안했으면 베어그릴스가 됐을 몇몇 사람들은 이런 걸 깎아 씁니다.  구조에 대해서 계속 이야기하면 지루해질 것 같아서 나머지 부분은 다음 차로 넘기도록 하겠습니다. 3. 음색 왕벌의 비행으로 유명한 림스키-코르사코프가 오케스트레이션에 대해서 쓴 책이 있는데요, 거기서 클라리넷을 이렇게 평가했습니다. 유연하고 표현력이 좋다. 장조에서는 즐겁거나 명상하는 듯한 멜로디가 어울리고, 단조에서는 사색적이거나 열정적이고 드라마틱한 멜로디가 어울린다. (19, Rimsky-Korsakov: Principles of Orchestration) 역시 오케스트레이션의 천재답게 정확한 표현인데요, 클라리넷이 가장 빛이 날때가 즐거운 멜로디, 사색적인 멜로디를 연주할 때, 그리고 단조에서 드라마틱하게 등장할 때입니다. 즐거운 멜로디 참고로 아래 영상 클라네티스트가 위에 영상 클라리네티스트 아버지입니다. 아버지와 형이 빈 필하모닉 수석클라리넷, 동생이 베를린 필하모닉 수석클라리넷.. 대단한 집안이죠. 드라마틱 사색적 멜로디 저는 특히 클라리넷의 사색적인 느낌을 너무 좋아합니다. 첼로와 함께 가을에 어울리는 악기라고 표현을 많이 하던데요, 특히 가을남자 브람스와 가을악기 클라리넷이 만난 브람스 클라리넷 5중주는 정말 가을에 한 번쯤은 꼭 들어야 할 곡으로 강추합니다. 사실 제가 이런 사색적인 느낌때문에 연습을 잘 안 하게 되는데요, 일단 연습 시작하고 이런 멜로디 죽 돌리고 나면 인생 다 산 것 같고 괜히 쓸쓸하고 연습실 갑갑하고 해서 그냥 뛰쳐나오는 버릇이 있어서.. 악기로 먹고 살것도 아니고 이런들 어떻고 저런들 어떠하리 뭐 이런 생각도 들지만 빠른 부분만 나오면 벌벌 떠는 제 모습이 한심하기도 하고 복잡하네요. 클라리넷에 대해서 (1) - 소개 마침. * 난커피가더좋아님에 의해서 자유 게시판으로부터 게시물 복사되었습니다 (2015-09-25 08:11) * 관리사유 : 추천게시판으로 복사합니다. 소리는 참 매력적인데 리드라는 그 불안정함이 으으... 진짜 불다가 이에 좀 긁혔는데(바보같이 불면서 전화기 쳐다보느라 몸 돌리다가 책장에 박았습니다) 와 그걸로도 소리가 나가데요(..) 뭐 치아자국이 찍혔으니 당연한가... 그래도 다른 리드 쓰는 악기보다는 상품 퀄리티가 좋다해서 목관은 더 쳐다보지 않게되었습니다...
