게임사에서 제 계정을 정지시키고 고객문의 창구를 통한 근거 확인 요구에도 정상적인 답변을 하지 않고 있어 대처 방안을 문의 드립니다. 저는 스마트조이에서 개발한 모바일 게임 '라스트오리진'을 하고 있었고 원스토어를 통해 구매한 해당 게임의 상품을 대략 10만원 가까이 구매 한 이력이 있습니다. 그런데 지난 10월 16일 갑자기 '부정조작'을 이유로 계정이 정지되었습니다. 고객센터에 전화 하였으나 게임 관련 문의는 e-mail 로만 받는다고 하여 해당 메일로 여러 차례 문의를 하였으나 조사 중이고 시간이 걸리므로 기다려 달라는 답변만 반복될 뿐입니다. 제가 메일로 요구한 사항은 대략 아래의 두 가지였습니다. '부정조작' 사유로 계정이 정지되었는데 나는 부정조작을 한 적이 없다. 부정조작으로 판단한 로그를 보여달라. 로그 확인 작업이 지연되고 있는데 해당 작업을 언제 처리할 수 있는지 예상 일정을 알려달라. 저 또한 게임회사에서 일을 하고 있기에 제 요구 조건에 따라 로그를 확인하는데 어느 정도의 작업이 필요한지 알고 있으며 로그를 공개하지 않는 것이 부정 조작을 확인할 수 있는 로그가 없기 때문이 아닌가 의심하고 있습니다. 게임 로그 공개 요구로 검색해 보니 '정보통신망 이용촉진 및 정보보호에 관한 법률에 따른 개인정보 열람요구' 라는 대목이 표시된 기사를 발견는데 해당 법률 30조 2항에 이용자가 정보통신서비스 제공자에게 개인정보 열람과 오류의 정정을 요구할 수 있다는 구문이 있는데요. 이 항목을 근거로 하여 해당 게임사에 게임 로그 열람을 요구하는 내용 증명을 보내는 게 적절할까요? 아니면 공정거래위원회나 소비자보호원에 민원을 넣는 게 더 적당한 방법일까요? 제 목적은 우선순위에 따라 정리하면 다음과 같습니다. 1. 부당하게 정지된 계정을 회복시켜 계속 게임을 하는 것 2. 정지된 동안 발생한 손해를 회복할 수 있는 보상을 받는 것. 3. 계정 회복이 어려울 경우 구매한 현금성 상품의 내역에 따라 환불을 받는 것 4. 무성의한 대응을 반복하는 게임사에 귀찮음과 곤란함을 안겨주는 것. 비슷한 경험을 하신 분이나 전문가분의 조언 부탁 드립니다. 감사합니다.
