제가 옆동네에도 질문 올렸는데, 홍차넷 회원분들께도 의견을 듣고 싶어서 여기에 올립니다. 최근 몇년간 KT 인터넷 100M 속도로 잘 쓰다가, 이번에 약정도 끝나고 바꿀 때가 되어서 인터넷을 바꿔보려고 하는데요, 뭔가 옵션도 있고 이것저것 따져볼게 많아서 고민이 조금 되네요. 현재 저는 SK 텔레콤 휴대폰 요금제를 사용하고 있으며, 가족 3명 중 1명은 같은 SK 요금제, 2명은 LG 텔레콤 요금제를 쓰고 있습니다. 집 근처 인터넷 알아보니까, SK 브로드밴드, LG 인터넷, 티브로드 이렇게 바꿀 수 있더군요. 1. 티브로드 - 동축케이블, 비대칭 2. SK 브로드밴드 - 광케이블, 비대칭 3. 인터넷의 속도는 고용량 다운로드가 많으시다면 영향이 크고 같은 100M라면 대칭 비대칭이 체감될 정도의 속도 차이는 생각보다 없을껍니다. 대용량 다운로드를 많이하신다면 100m짜리와 500m짜리의 차이는 느껴지십니다.
용도에 따라보면 체감상의 차이는 없을껍니다. 현재는 많이 개선되었지만 과거에는 수도권에서는 3사 차이가 거의 없지만
그외 지역은 KT가 무조건 이였습니다. (업장 기준입니다.) 개인적으론 큰 차이가 없을꺼라 봅니다.
저도 할인을 이유로 브로드밴드를 쓰는데 계약종료되면 KT로 갈껍니다.(TV가 불편해서...)
