안녕하세요. 의료넷 회원분들. 김제피입니다. 발가락 골절 관력해서 질문 드립니다. 다름아니라 일주일 전쯤에 어머니가 집에서 박스 같은 걸 못보시고 전속력으로 발로 차셔서 발가락이 골절됐습니다 처음에는 살짝 붓길래, 발가락이 삔건가 싶어서 그냥 둘까 하다가 병원에 가는 게 좋겠다고 설득해 하셔서 동네 병원에 가셨는데요. 엑스레이 찍어보니 확실하지는 않은데 가운데 발가락과 새끼 발가락이 골절된 것 같다고 하시네요. 골절 정도는 저도 확실히 모르겠는데, 현재 깁스하시면 거동은 무난하게 하시는 정도입니다. 문제는 병원에서 핀을 삽입해 고정하는 수술을 하셔야 한다고 하는데, 어머니께서 골다공증, 당뇨가 있으셔서 엄청 겁을 내시고 있습니다. 골절 수술을 하면 병원에서는 짧게는 4일 길게는 일주일 정도 입원해야 한다고 하네요. 수술을 계속 겁내시는 어머니를 어떻게 설득해야 할까요. 걱정이 많이 앞섭니다. PS 참고로 수술 안 하고 그냥 반깁스한 상태로 붙게 두면 된다는 설을 여기저기서 들었는데, 제 상식으로는 말이 안 된다고 생각하는데 수술이 무서운 어머니께서 계속 이렇게 말씀하셔서 답답한 상태입니다. 경험담인데
당연히 빼박 깁스만 하면 자연스레 붙는 것, 빼박 수술 해야하는 것 정도의 골절은 있겠지만 분명 애매한 지점이 있거든요.
가령 '에이~ 뭐 이거가지고 수술까지 해요. 걍 깁스하고 무리안하면 붙습니다' 라고 하는 의사도 있고
'이건 수술 하셔야 안전하고, 안하셨다가 뼈 제대로 안붙으면 더 큰 손해입니다' 라고 하는 의사도 있는 법이거든요.
애매한 수준인지는 의사분들이 봐서 판단할 일이고

저라면 다른 병원 2군데 더 가서 3군데 병원의 소견중에 2군데 이상 많은 의견 나오는 쪽으로 결정하겠습니다.
