이사할 집이 회사와 약 2km거리입니다. 길은 평탄한 인도와 횡단보도 몇번 건너는 정도입니다. 버스도 많지만 못 타는 경우도 있고(야근 또는 야근 혹은 야근), 걸어서 충분히 갈 수도 있겠지만 막상 가기엔 약간 부담스러운 거리입니다. 그래서 세그웨이 또는 전동킥보드 중 하나를 장만할까 생각중입니다. 둘 중 어떤 게 더 적절할까요? 자전거는 (이미 가지고 있기도 하고) 여름에 옷에 땀이 차서 제외시켰습니다. 전기 자전거도 있겠지만 왠지 자전거 2 같아서.. 세그웨이라 썼지만 나인봇이어도 무방하고 전동 킥보드도 모델 무관합니다. 가격도 어지간하면 큰 상관 없습니다. 사실 근본적으로 궁금한 건 두 이동기기의 캐릭터가 무엇인지를 제가 잘 모르겠네요. 나인봇류는 몸의 중심이동을 통해 전진/후진/방향전환 을 합니다.
몸을 앞으로 기울이면 전진하고 뒤로 살짝 젖희면 후진하는 식이죠.
타는데 약간의 연습이 필요합니다.
전동킥보드는 전진을 핸들 옆 스위치로 합니다. 땡기면 나가는 거죠.
제동은 브레이크로, 회전은 핸들로 합니다.
전동킥보드도 안전에 유의해야 하지만 나인봇류는 안전에 매우 취약합니다.
턱이 있거나 약간 파인 곳에 걸리면 탑승자 날아가는건 일도 아니에요.
순수하게 중심이동만으로 움직이기 때문에 위험한 부분이 있습니다.
