고령의 만학도입니다. 회사 다닐 때 한번 과로로 한달 쯤 고생하고 나서 머리에 심한 피로감을 느껴서 오후 7시 이후로는 야근도 못하는 상황이 되었었습니다. 졸림+피곤+정신없어짐에다가 두통도 있고 그랬어서 MRI, MRA, CT, 뇌혈류 검사 등등을 받아 보았지만 모두 정상으로 나왔습니다. 그 이후 회사를 그만두고 늦게 공부를 시작하였는데, 어린 친구들도 어려워하는 공부입니다. 저 졸림+피곤+정신없어짐+두통 콤보는 이제 낮에도 계속되어서 수업시간에도 정신이 오락가락 하고 제대로 수업을 들어본 적이 손에 꼽을 듯 싶습니다. (하지만 정신이 있을 때에는 매우 재미있게 잘 공부합니다. 엄청나게 드문 경우지만..) 심한 경우에는 정신이 오락가락 한 다음에는 바로 어제 일도 기억을 못할 정도입니다. 그런데 작년 하반기부터는 저 증상이 없을 때에도 전혀 집중을 못하는 증세가 추가되었습니다. 물론 어렸을 때부터 집중을 잘 못하기는 했습니다. 완벽주의+꾸물거림+등등이 있어서 시험 전날, 아니 시험 바로 전까지도 딴짓하기가 일쑤였습니다. 학교에서 잠이 오는 것도 심해서 국민학교 때부터 수업시간에 자는 경우가 많았습니다. 의욕이 안 나는 거야 이해는 가는데.. 한 페이지를 놓고도 보고 싶지 않아서 두세시간 딴 짓을 합니다. 휴대폰도 보고 (쓸데없는 것만 반복해서 봄. 전혀 상관 없는 돼지나 소를 검색하고 있다든가..) 그냥 멍하니 딴짓을 합니다. 책을 보면 그냥 상황 설명도 무슨 말인지 이해가 잘 안가고, 어떤 때에는 누가 말을 걸어도 이해하는데 시간이 오래 걸립니다. (이해하기 위해 집중을 잘 하지 않는 것 같기도 합니다.) 짜증도 엄청 많이 냅니다. 행동을 머리 속에서만 할 뿐 움직이려고 하지 않을 때도 많습니다. 제대로 진단받으려면 병원에 가야하겠지만, 병원 가서 '운동 열심히 하시고 동기부여 하면서 활동적으로 생활하면 도움이 될 겁니다' 정도의 대답을 듣게 된다면 시간과 노력이 아까울 것 같기도 하고요.. 그런데 이런 증세가 성인 ADHD하고 비슷한가요? 1. 결과에 연연하지 않기로 결심한다. 될데로 되라지
2. 목표를 가장 잘게 쪼개놓는다
3. 충분한 시간을 확보한다(예: 하루종일). 그리고 확보한 시간에 그 잘게 쪼갠 목표 중 하나를 그냥 해본다. 안되면 될때까지 한다
처음에는 이게 대단히 어렵습니다. 손에 무언가를 잡는데만도 일주일이 걸렸어요. 그런... 더 보기
