한국에서 태어나서 쭉 한국에 사는 36살 여자입니다. 저는 초등학생 시절부터 꿈이 하나 있었습니다. 제가 초중고 교육과정을 다 마치고 20살이 넘으면 아침에는 햇볕이 비추는 침대에서 일어나 아침식사를 간단히 한 후 집에서 30분 걸리는 직장으로 출근하고, 저녁식사를 할 시간 즈음에 퇴근해서 별이 잘 보이는 옥상에 올라가 하루일과를 간단히 퇴고하고 편안히 잠에 드는, 어찌보면 한국이라는 나라에서 그림자같은 일상을 반복하는 직장인을 꿈꿨습니다. 초등학생치고 상당히 소박하고 구체적인 꿈이었지만 저조차도 이상한 생각이 들만큼 구체적으로 꿈꿨었습니다. 그러나 초중고 시절을 포함한 지금까지의 현실적인 상황은 좋지 못했습니다. 한국에서 아침부터 햇볕이 드는 집을 구하기가 이렇게 어려울 줄은 몰랐습니다. 한국에서 나약한 몸으로 집에서 1시간 안에 출근할 수 있는 직장 구하기가 이렇게 어려울 줄은 몰랐습니다. 한국에서 저녁시간에 돈없이 별이 잘 보이는 옥상이 있는 곳으로 가기가 이렇게 어려울 줄은 몰랐습니다. 36살인 지금은 부모님 도움을 받아 낮부터 햇볕이 잘 드는 임대아파트에 살고 있습니다. 단, 이 돈은 평생 갚아야 합니다. 직장은 임대아파트에서 왕복 4시간 걸리는 곳에 다닙니다. 단, 업무는 쉴틈없이 많고 잡무가 많아 물경력이 될 수도 있습니다. 앞으로 어떤 분야에 자리잡을 만한 경력은 안됩니다. 잡무만 정신없이 하고 퇴근하면 저녁 8시가 되기 일쑤이며 저녁식사는 고사하고 매일 지쳐서 씻지도 못하고 곯아 떨어지는 하루가 약 6년정도 반복되었고, 이마저도 계약직/인턴으로 근무한 것이 대부분이라 근무지가 대여섯번 바뀌었습니다. 체력이 나약하여 막노동일은 못하고, 헬스나 달리기나 등산같은 보편적인 운동으로 체력을 다질 몸뚱이가 아닙니다. 저는 앞으로도 결혼을 꿈꾸지 않습니다. 물론 연애도 꿈꾸지 않습니다. 그저 앞으로 제가 언제 죽을지 모르기에 그 부분에 대한 대비를 하고 싶습니다. 앞으로 저는 어떤 길을 가야 할까요?
