안녕하세요. 가입하고 눈팅만 하다 여러 방면에 해박하신 분들이 평소 관심 있던 축구에 관해 토론해보고 싶은 부분을 한번 글로 써보려 합니다. 다른 분들의 의견을 여쭙고 싶은 건 푸스카스, 디스테파노, 에우제비우, 지쿠입니다. 각각의 선수에 대해 제가 생각하는 바를 간략하게 적고, 다른 분들도 비슷하게 생각하시는지 혹은 다른 의견이 있는지 한번 여쭤보고 싶습니다. 1. 푸스카스 크루이프가 전술적 혁신으로 빨리듯 푸스카스도 충분히 빨릴만하다고 봅니다. 50년대의 헝가리가 70년대의 네덜란드 축구사적 센세이널함으로도 그다지 밀린다 보기 힘들고(당시에는 235의 WM과 WM의 대결이 당연한 것이었지만 앞서 말한 5의 중앙에 있는 공격수를 아래로 내려 3214와 비슷한 느낌을 구사했죠) 두 선수다 그러한 팀에서 독보적인 존재감을 과시했구요. 거기에 둘 다 준우승 한 부분도 같다는 게 흥미롭다 생각합니다. 여기에 2년가량 쉬고 31살에 마드리드로 이적해서 8시즌 동안 유러피언 컵 3회 우승, 프리메라리가 5회 우승이란 대기록을 세우기도 했고요. 요즘에는 랭킹 10위 밖으로 나가는 경우도 왕왕 있는데 참 아쉽습니다. 2. 디스테파노 그런 푸스카스와 비교해 동일 팀에서 1인자의 입지를 가졌던 디스테파노입니다. 크루이프를 말할 때 '공수 방면에서 모든 걸 총괄하는 사령관'과 같은 칭호가 붙습니다만... 사실 경기를 보면 그런 느낌은 되려 디스테파노에게서 느낄 수 있더군요. 예시를 하나 들면 1962년 유로피언컵 결승에서 WM이란 포지션으로 소개가 되지만 막상 경기를 보면 정통 수비형 미드필더와 다름없습니다. 그래서 에우제비우랑 맞붙는 장면도 자주 나옵니다. 개인적으론 goat 후보 중 한명이라 생각하고요. 3. 에우제비우 과거에는 스포츠 개념이 미숙해 가지고 있는 몸뚱아리 재능으로 축구하는 부분이 많습니다. 지금도 그렇지만 훨씬 차이가 심하다 생각되고요. 그중에 가장 괴물 같은 피지컬을 가지고 있는 선수가 아닌가 싶습니다. 단순 리그의 왕으로 끝난 것이 아닌 지금과 비교도 되지 않는 위상을 가진 포르투갈로 4강에 올라가는 기염을 토하지요. 보통 최고의 공격수를 나열할 때 호나우두, 반바스텐, 게르트뮐러 등이 언급되는데 여기에 꿀리지 않는, 오히려 위라고 볼 수 있는 선수라고 생각합니다. 4. 지쿠 제가 본 플레이메이커 중에서 가장 육각형에 가까운 선수입니다. 순간 가속과 킥 테크닉에서 아쉬움이 있는 이니에스타, 큰 체구로 빠른 템포로 볼은 전개하기엔 어려움이 있는 지단, 온더볼에 약간 결격사유가 있는 플라티니, 드리블링을 우선시에 팀의 볼 회전, 빌드업 리더로의 역할은 어려운 마라도나 등등... 이들과 다르게 s급이라 불릴만한 강점은 없지만 두루두루 준수한 능력치를 가지고 있는 선수입니다. 가진 피지컬을 바탕으로 축구하는 시대에서 뚜렷한 강점을 가진 부분은 없는 선수가 보여줄 수 있는 최고의 모습을 보여줬다고 생각합니다. 좀 설명이 길었는데 이들에 대해 다른 분들의 의견을 한번 여쭤보고 싶습니다.
