제가 그림에 대한 관심은 많았는데 몇 년전까지만 해도 일과 취미생활을 동시에 잡는게 절대 쉬운게 아니고 주 6일 이렇게 일하면서 쉬는날에 게임하거나 영화를 보러가면 그 다음날 다시 일하러 가야되는 날들이 반복되다 보니까 돈만 벌면서 생활하고 있었는데요. 돈을 벌면 돈이라도 모여야되는데 많은 이유에서 돈도 안모이고 돈이 삶에서 많은 부분을 차지하고 없어서 안된다는 것도 절절하게 느끼지만 그럼에도 행복하게 살기위해서는 돈만 모아서도 안되고 유일한 조건이 아닌거같더라구요. 그래서 하루에 30분 정도 자료 찾으면서 그리고싶은 거만 그리고 있는데요. 보이는대로 따라서 그리는데도 선의 방향성이라던가 그리고나면 전혀 다른 그림이 나오던가 삐뚤빼뚤 하던가 그래요. 좀 차분하게 따라 그리고있으면 형태나 덩어리감에 대해서 아 사람들이 왜 이런 단어를 쓰는구나 알게 되지만 어떻게 형태를 잡는지 덩어리감을 주는지 방법은 잘모르겠더라구요. 그리고 하나만 그리면 어떻게든 그려낼수는 있는데 장소나 배치와 관련된 공간안에서 표현은 진짜 난감하더라구요. 제가 바라는 이상향은 연속적으로 움직이는 애니메이션이나 만화에서 볼 수있는 역동적인 구도를 그려내는건데 혼자 삽질하는 거보다는 학원가는게 낫겠죠? 학원을 가게되면 다음달 월급 받고부터 다닐거여서 그전까지 뭐라도 연습하고싶은데 스케치북사서 명암 10단계나 선긋기, 투시에 맞게 상자그리기 이 정도만 해도될까요? 여기까지는 어떻게 하겠는데 형태나 덩어리감 주는 연습은 어떻게 하나요? 막 회오리치는 허리케인과 옥수수초원을 그리고싶다! 라고 하신다면, 주변에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 사물들을 최대한 관찰해서 되는대로 그립니다. 그러다가 사물을 두개씩 그리고, 세개씩 그리고, 겹쳐서 그리고, 방을 그리고, 창밖의 익숙한 골목을 그리고, 이 시점에서 투시를 공부하면서 그리는 범위를 확장해나가면 그릴 수 있습니다.
물론 정답은 아닙니다 ㅎㅎ 사람마다 그림을 배우고 익히는 방법은 다른데 연출을 그리고 싶으신건지, 대상을 그리고 싶으신건지에 따라서 달라지겠네용.
막 개쩌는 두 암살자의 총기난사 액션씬을 그리고 싶으시다면, 위의 3개를 다 연습한 뒤, 영화의 샷과 컷을 분석해서 카메라가 어떻게 움직이고 비율을 어떻게 잡는지를 연구한 뒤, 빛을 연구해서(빛의 방향과 강약,색감 등) 적용하면 연출을 공부하는게 됩니다. 연출을 그림으로 표현한 게 스토리보드인데, 영화나 광고 드라마는 이걸 바탕으로 찍는겁니다. 15초짜리 짧은 광고는 사람의 시선을 어떻게 하면 단순에 뺐을까 하는 연출에 최적화 되어있기 때문에 광고를 씬마다 다 그려보고 컷마다 분석하고 그러면 연출감이 늘져.

한글을 배워서 소설쓰는것과 비슷합니다.
