 얼마전 서울시 2차 청년주택 1차 결과가 나왔는데요, 역시나 탈락했습니다. 대학생이나 신혼부부 전형은 간혹 빈틈이 있는데, 청년 전형은 소득 1순위에 지역 1순위 아니면 얄짤없더라구요. 그런데 1인실이 아닌 세어형은 완전 얘기가 달라서 지원자 전원이 1차 통과했답니다. 저걸 보니 저같은 독고다이론자도 좀 생각이 바뀔까말까 하는데요, 물론 39형=11평 짜리에 생판 모르는 남자 둘이 2년 동안 생활공간을 공유하는 건 보통은 생각하지도 않지만, 아시다시피 돈은 가치관을 꺾기도 하니... (이번에 발표난 저기 용산 베르디움의 경우 셰어형이라면 입주자 둘이 나눠 보증금 3천 남짓에 월세 4만2천원에 해결이 됨) 그런 생각도 듭니다. 이를테면 전세가 이런저런 불안요소가 있더라도 돈 모으는데는 월세보다 월등히 우월하다는 것이 정론인데, 그럼에도 불구하고 모르는 사람과 동거하는 것만큼은 젊은 세대들에게 눈에 보이는 이득이 있더라도 절대 질 수 없는 리스크에 속하는 것인지... 그러고보니 외국같은 하우스메이트 문화는 한국에선 훨씬 드문 것 같기도 하고요. 제가 너무 나이브하게 생각하는 걸수도 있겠죠. 가령 11평은 죽마고우나 오래사귄 연인이어도 동거하기 불가한 평수라거나, 기숙사도 아니고 2년 동안 보증금 묶여야 되는데 가치관에 관계없이 지나치게 운빨에 기대는 행위라던지.. 이런 현상에 대해 여러분들의-특히 하우스메이트 경험이 있으신 분들의- 생각이 듣고 싶어 질문 한번 올려봅니다. 많이 불편한 건 사실이라도 참거나 조율할 수 있는 부분이라면 다음에는 지원해보게요. 참고로 제 성격은 집돌이고 대체로 무던한 편에 가깝습니다. 오히려 동거인에게 불편한 부분을 주지 않을까 걱정되는 쪽.
