https://m.mk.co.kr/news/economy/view/2022/08/738477/ 쌀 문제가 왜 정치 카테고리...라고 하기에는 이 농사. 특히 쌀이란게 아주 밀접하게 정치와 연관이 있기 때문입니다. 쌀은 현재 식생활의 변화로 위상이 살짝 내려갔지만 여전히 한국의 주식입니다. 그리고 현재 식량주권이란게 다른 나라에서 챙겨주는게 아니라는걸 저번코로나와 이번 우크라이나전쟁으로 인한 무역 악화로 잘 보여주는 사항이라 매우 민감합니다 일단 식생활의 변화가 있기도 하고 인구변동문제와 더불어 소비되지 못한채 창고에서 묵고있는 쌀이 있다는건 분명합니다. 하지만 그렇다고 쌀이 남아도니 이제는 생산을 줄일까? 하면서 농지를 용도변경하거나 하는 일은 굉장히 바보같은 일이죠 농지가 버려지고 다른용도로 사용되기 시작하면 그 땅은 다시 농토로 사용될수 없기때문입니다 돈문제도 있겠지만 토질변화로 인해 다시 농사 지을 땅으로 복구하는게 힘들기 때문입니다 그러다가 식량난이 터지면 그 반동은 나라를 초토화 시킬겁니다.(지금도 전분야농업통틀어 종자회사들의 장난질이라든지 우크라이나 같은 예도 있고) 사실 쌀 생산량보다는 저 쌀을 생산하는 농총종사자들이 언제까지 유지될수있을까 가 더 중요한 문제라고 생각은 하지만(...) 여튼 기존의 저 묵은 쌀은 우리가 헐값이나 선심성 정책에 자주 동원되었다고 들었습니다. 쌀 퍼주냐고 욕 먹었던 햇볕정책 같은거 말이죠.
