안녕하세요. 사실 이 곡은 일반 음악은 아닙니다. 드럼매니아… 라는 밀레니엄의 망령(…) 게임에 수록되어 있는 곡이지요. 지금이야 리듬게임은 몇 세대를 거치는 동안 단순 박자에 맞추는 터치 게임이라는 인식이 강하지만, 세기말과 세기초를 지나는 시대에는 '음악게임' 이라는 장르로서, 각종 장비 또는 안무를 시뮬레이팅하는 조작 방식이 대세였습니다. 현재에는 그야말로 코어 지지층만 남은, 쇠락해가는 방식입니다만… 당시 바다이야기 쓰나미에 쓸려 완전히 무너졌던 아케이드 게임 시장을 지탱해준 한 축이기도 합니다. 저도 나이도 들고 결혼도 하고 이래저래 오락실 출입이 어렵습니다만, 마지막으로 열심히 했던 2010년, 음악게임에서의 제 마지막 페이버릿 트랙입니다. 가벼운 템포의 샤방샤방한, 현지어로 '오샤레' 한 그런 느낌의 곡입니다. 플레이어블 트랙이라서, 안타깝게도 곡이 짧습니다. cosmic agenda - TOMOSUKE feat. Jazzin' park 같은 뮤지션의 조인트로 이루어진 다른 곡입니다. 이 곡은 약간 미드템포 스타일이네요. TOMOSUKE는 코나미제 음악게임 계보에서 빠질 수 없는 아티스트입니다. 17년의 역사를 함께한 산증인이라고 할 수 있지요. 아무래도 코나미 직원으로서 게임을 만드는 위치라 이거저거 별의별 장르를 다 소화해야 하지만, 그 중에서도 프렌치 팝, 라운지, 라틴계 음악 등의 장르에 특장점을 가지고 있는 아티스트라 볼 수 있습니다. Jazzin' Park는 2000년대 중반에 결성된 시부야계 듀오 유닛입니다. 개인적으로는 어쿠스틱 방면으로, 해체에 가까운 시부야계의 유산을 잇고 있는 위치 정도로 평가… 했는데, 요즘 EDM을 하더군요. 대실망… 물론 실력은 훌륭합니다. 주로 다른 유명 뮤지션의 앨범에 참여하면서 간간히 앨범도 내는데, 게임 쪽으로도 조인트를 해서 당시 놀랐던 기억이 있습니다. 두 아티스트 다 날 잡고 하루 글로 써도 그 행보가 모자르지 않은데… 다음에 쓸 수 있으면 자게로 써볼까 합니다. p.s. 저때까지만 해도 비마니 음악들이 남들 들려주기 아깝지 않은 그런 음악들이었는데, 지금은 너무 덬… (생략)  추천수: 0 Warning: Use of undefined constant no - assumed 'no' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/video/view.php on line 154 |
