11월 10일에 기타도라(정확하게는 드럼매니아만) Tri-Boost가 한국에 정발되었습니다. 기타프릭스와 드럼매니아 V7,V8등의 화석 오브 화석(?)들만 그득했던 오락실에, 하얗고 모두의 이목을 끌만한 신 기체가 온 거죠. 정발 취소설, 영영 들어오지 않을 거라는 설 등등.. 이 카더라들을 전부 깨고 결국에는 왔지요. 저도 얼마전에 입문했고요. (3.00 레벨 깹니다) - 풍부해진 곡 라인업 이전 보다는 좀 신규유저 진입이 쉬운 이유는 라인업이 꽤 외부에서 많이 판권을 사와서 그런지는 몰라도 풍부합니다. 보컬로이드 노래라던지 동방 어레인지라던지 꽤 많이 나왔습니다. (코나미의 무시무시한 곡 보유능력을 알 수 있죠.) 저도 처음에는 좀 힘들거 같아서 아는 노래로 먼저 적응을 하고 점점 모르는 노래를 해볼려고 합니다. 라인업이 꽤 넓어졌다는 것이 아무래도 리듬게임의 중요한 메리트이니만큼 추후 신규유저들의 진입장벽이 어느정도 완화되리라는 생각도 듭니다. - 올드비들과 뉴비들과의 격차 아무래도 좀 유구한 역사를 자랑하는 게임이다보니까 올드비들과 뉴비들과의 격차로 인한 커뮤니케이션의 마찰, 혹은 여러가지 있을 애환들때문에라도 걱정은 됩니다. 일단 뉴비와 올드비들과의 격차가 현저합니다. 스킬포인트(얼마나 연주하고 잘하는지에 대한 척도 파악이 가능)가 4000대인 올드비들은 며칠만에라도 순회를 하는데 뉴비들의 진입장벽은 아직도 멉니다. 물론 드럼매니아 구기체(좀 오래된 기체들)들과 비교하면 일단 클리어게이지에 대해서는 조금 자비로워졌습니다. 예전에는 클리어하기도 힘들었는데 이번 신 버전은 좀 괜찮게 난이도가 조절이 되어서 나오긴 합니다. 정말 서툴거나 처음하거나 아주 피똥싸게 어려운 초견플레이를 하지않는 이상은 셔터쾅을 안 당하기도 쉽고요. 그런데 드럼매니아 구기체와 살펴보면 페달도 생겼고 칠게 조금 더 늘었습니다. 그런데 올드비들은 적응이 상당히 빠른데 뉴비들은 안 그래도 드럼매니아는 어떻게 칠지, 드럼 채 배치 익히는데 꽤 어렵습니다. 실력 격차, 이런걸로 인한 트러블은 없었으면 좋겠습니다. 물론 우리나라 게이머들 특성상 상향평준화가 조만간 이뤄질거 같다라는 느낌도 들고.. - 기타도라, 같이 온 게 아닌 드럼매니아만의 정발[기타프릭스 유저들에게 애도를..] 약간의 흠이긴 하지만 이건 어쩔 수 없었다봅니다. 저는 같이 들어오는걸 바랬는데, 곰곰히 생각한 끝의 결론은 우리나라에서의 수익성은 '0'이라는 겁니다. 기타프릭스를 잡아보신 분들(모바일 기타도라건 아케이드 기타프릭스건)은 아시겠지만 꽤 어렵습니다. 버튼을 누르는게 아니라 피킹 버튼이랑 같이 치는데 손은 엄청 바쁘고 놓칠 건 다 놓치고.. 바쁘고 힘듭니다. 안그래도 요즘 신규 유저가 진입을 하기 힘든 경우가 요즘 한국 리듬게임시장 환경입니다. 그 환경에서의 기타프릭스 출시 불발은 자연스러운 현상이라 생각합니다. 물론 반쪽짜리인 드럼매니아가 희망을 보여준다면 나머지 반쪽짜리인 기타프릭스도 희망을 보여줄 수 있으리라 생각이 듭니다. - 일부 오락실 정발로 인한 강제원정 필자도 사실상 강제원정입니다. 이미 트위터에서 저희 지역 오락실 점장님이 장사가 안될 거 같다라는 이유로 기타도라를 들이지 않겠다고 선언했습니다. (그것도 두군데 오락실 전부 다) 예상보다는 조금 많이 들어오긴 했습니다. (다섯곳 남짓 할 줄 알았더니) 심지어 노량진 오락실같은 경우 드럼매니아 2대라는 이야기도 있고요. 그러나 일부 유저들이 진입을 원치 않거나 혹은 흥미가 많이 없는 경우라서 아직까진 많은 정발은 기대를 하긴 힘들어보입니다. 하지만 아직 정발 초기이기도 하고 유저들의 흥미나 혹은 점주들의 판단에 따라 정발이 더 될 수도, 아닐 수도 있기 때문에 아직은 좀 더 기다려봐야 할 거 같습니다. - 한국 기체와 일본 기체의 다른점 일본에선 라이트모드가 1크레딧에 3곡인거와는 달리 우리나라에선 1크레딧에 2곡입니다. 옵션은 현재 3곡으로 조정이 불가능한 상태라합니다. 물론 한국에서 2크레딧으로 GITADORA Tri-Boost ENCORE/PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE가 있습니다. 곡을 연주하는데 특정 랭크 이상일 경우 보너스 스테이지, 그리고 연주하다보면 앙코르 게이지라고 차는데 앙코르게이지가 차면 한 곡 더 할 수 있습니다. 2~4,5곡정도 할 수 있다 보면됩니다. 그리고 우리나라 기체는 업데이트가 아직 준비되지 않아 구버전입니다. 그래서 일본기체로 플레이하고 온 사람이 한국기체에선 플레이가 되지 않았던 문제가 있었습니다. 실제로 10월달에 일본 플레이하고 온 유저가 우리나라 기체에 카드를 댔을 때 되지 않았다라는 얘기가 있어서 기체 버전이 빠르게 업데이트 되어야 할 것입니다. 증상 원인은, 코나미 게임은 최신 버전을 실시할 경우 이전 버전을 보유하고 있는 기체에서 세이브데이터를 읽지 못해서 생기는 것인데, 국내에서 업데이트를 하지 못한 상황이기에 어쩔 수 없는 부분이라고 보시면 좋을 것 같습니다. 이 문제는 빨리 해결해야하는데 유니아나의 대응이 궁금합니다. 저야 드럼매니아 플레이 등록 한 적이 없으니 괜찮지만, 일본에서 플레이하다 오신분들은 머리가 지끈지끈하실겁니다. 또한, 해외판에서 플레이 불가능한 노래는 우리나라판에서도 플레이가 불가능하다고 합니다. 제 생각에는 아직 우리나라가 기타도라 불모지를 탈출 할 수 있을지에 대해서는 미지수입니다. 현재 아직도 시스템 문제(기체간의 버전 차이로 인한 플레이 불가)관련해서는 상당히 불만이기도 하고요. 불모지를 탈출하려면 앞으로의 행보를 좀 더 자세히 주목해야한다고 생각합니다. 게임 자체도 비싸고(pc방은 시간당 천원 리듬게임은 몇천원)
저도 대학생때는 리듬게임에 수백만원 박았는데
지금은 주말 하루이틀 쉬는데 버스타고 오락실 찾아가서 게임을? 어렵죠...
주말에 기타도라ost들으면서 음악글 한번 쓰고 싶었는데 공허의유산캠페인하느라
