| Subject | 내가 조국을 지지하는 이유 |
 홍차넷 출범시 가입을 하고 글 참 안썼다 싶었는데 그리고 사실 첫 인사글을 준비하고 있었는데 어쩌다 보니 분탕질같은 제목을 달고서 글을 쓰게 되었습니다. 한참 생각을 해 보았지만 제가 쓸 글을 몇단어로 간결하게 요점만 적으면 이런식이 될 수 밖에 없는것 같습니다. 거두절미하고 요점만 Q&A형식을 빌어서 적을까 합니다. Q : 조국은 강남좌파, 기득권이 아닌가? 개천에서 용 안되도 된다더니 자식은 용만들려고 기를썼고 위법은 아니라지만(적어도 현재까지는) 상류층만 가능한 루트를 통하여 음서를 실행해 오지 않았나? 이렇게 표리부동한 사람을 지지하지 못한다는게 이해가 가지 않는가? A : 이해 갑니다. 애초에 사학집안이고 상류층이죠. 자식들은 적당히 유전자의 축복으로 똑똑하고 거기에 최선의 서포트를 법 안에서 하는거죠. 저는 있는사람이 가진 권리를 포기하라는것은 입장 바꿔서 생각해봐도 저 스스로 절대 하지 않을 선택이기에 비난할 생각은 없습니다. 다만 역지사지 못하고 입을 놀려서 그들의 자녀들이 누렸던 축복을 꿈도 꾸지 못한 여러 사람들에게 상처를 준 일에는 눈을 흘겨뜨게 됩니다. Q : 그런 도의적인 문제 외에도 많은 실제적인 혐의가 있지않나? 사모펀드, 표창장 위조혐의 등등.. A : 여기에는 동의하지 않습니다. 혐의는 혐의일뿐이니 마치 사실인양 떠드는 언론이나 검찰에 동조하는것도 바른 행동이란 생각은 안듭니다. 이건 유죄로 나오면 그때 판단해야할 문제라고 봅니다. Q : 검찰개혁의 필요성은 우리가 다 알고있다. 하지만 그걸 왜 결함이 있는 조국이 해야하는가? A : 조국이 할 필요는 없었습니다. 더 적임자가 있다면(저는 적어도 생각나지 않네요) 그사람이 하는게 좋았겠죠. 다만 이제는 조국이 아니면 안되게 되었습니다. 사실 조국을 처음 지명할때부터 그랬습니다. 문재인 대통령의 측근이며, 임기 반환점을 돈 상황에서 최대 과업을 완수하려 보낸 장관이 조국이니까요. 애초에 낙마시키면 문재인정권의 힘은 크게 약화됩니다. 바로 레임덕 시작이라 봐도 무리 없을것 같습니다. '조국을 빨리 지명철회하고 바꿨으면 진보진영 분열될일도 없고 모두가 행복하지 않았나'는 말도 말장난에 불과하다고 생각합니다. 조국은 애초에 평소라면 장관임명에 결격사유가 없는 인물입니다. 황교안 전 법무부 장관만 생각해봐도 명확합니다. 이는 전후 관계가 틀렸다 생각합니다. 즉 검찰개혁을 하려 하니 그는 국정농단 수사때 보다도 더 많은 언론의 집중포화를 받았고, 더 많은 검찰력이 동원되서 70여회의 압수수색등 먼지털기식 수사를 받았겠죠. 그러는 과정에서 흠이 안나왔으면 좋겠지만 애초에 장관으로 지명받을 커리어와 지명도를 가질만한 인간이 그렇게 흠없는경우는 문재인 대통령 외에는 본적이 없습니다. 언론이 수만건의 기사를 쏟아내며 여기에 집중한 이유도 이번 조국장관 자택 압수수색때 미리 나와있던 기자들을 보면 상상이 갑니다. 커넥션이 있으니까요. 자한당과 언론과 검찰은 서로가 서로의 등을 봐주던 혈맹이며 공생관계라는것을 국민도 이제는 알고 있습니다. 가족을 죽이겠다는데 형 동생들이 합심해 적을 물리치는건 당연한 프로세스라 봅니다. 즉 언론과 검찰과 자한당이 만족할 인선을 해야 논란이 끝나는 문제입니다. 조국의 후임이 누구라도 검찰개혁을 부르짖으며 다시 등장한다 해도 전만큼의 동력도 얻을수 없을뿐더러 다시 조국이 받았던 규모의 검찰의 수사와 언론의 포화를 받아야 할겁니다. 조국이 문제가 아니라 그가 하려하는 일이 문제니까요. 그래서 조국이 아니어도 된다는 말은 사실 얼토당토 않은소리라 생각합니다. Q : 난 민주당을 지금까지 계속 지지했는데 요즘은 괴리를 느낀다. 자한당쪽은 투표도 해본적 없으니 엄한소리 마라. 진짜 문재인이 싫고 조국도 싫고 자한당도 싫다. 그런 나도 일베로 몰아갈텐가? A : 그럴생각 없습니다. 그런데 논쟁을 하긴 해야할것 같습니다. 지금의 문재인정부와 조국장관에 대한 강한 지지와 방어 프로세스는 과거 노무현 대통령의 기억에 기인하는 경향이 있습니다. 저만해도 민주당과 현 정권이 맘에 안드는 구석이 많습니다. 페미라던가, 에너지 정책이라던가, 교육정책(이건 사실 누가해도)이나.. 저는 문재인정권이 들어서고 의료보험비와 연금보험이 큰 폭으로 올랐고 자영업자인지라 세금상승폭도 꽤 큽니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 제가 이러한 글을 적고있는 이유는 문재인 대통령의 정책이 공공의 선을 이루는 방향으로 향하고 있다고 믿기 때문입니다. 그리고 정권집권시에는 객관적인 판단이 잘 되지 않는다는것을 참여정부때 경험했기에 적어도 임기중 펼치려는 뜻이 좌초되지는 않게 지지함으로서 힘을 보내야 한다고 판단했기 때문입니다. 누군가는 검찰개혁을 해야하고 이만큼 검찰을 개혁하겠다 드라이브를 걸었던 정부도 인물도 없었습니다. 그러니 저는 그냥 믿어보려고 합니다. 이미 빼어든 칼이고 시민들이 백만명 이상이 거리로 나와 지지해버린 이상 도로 무를수도 없게 되었습니다. 지난주 내내 불안했습니다. 이렇게 온 나라의 언론과 모든 검찰력이 한 가정을 터는것을 저는 딱 한번 봤기 때문이에요. 고 노무현 대통령 일가 수사때입니다. 그래서 조마조마했습니다. "노무현 대통령의 문상객 500만명중에 10분의 1만 거리로 나왔어도 노무현은 죽지 않았을 것이다" 라고 말씀하셨던 김대중 대통령의 발언을 그때는 잘 알지 못했지만 이제는 이해하기에, 조국이 좌초되면 내가 지지한 정부도 같이 동력을 잃기에 그의 개인적인 호불호보다 우선하여 오늘 서초동 집회에 나갈 수 밖에 없었습니다. 하나 노파심에 댓글을 달면
누군가를 지지하거나 반대하거나 하는 의견은 마음껏 낼 수 있어야 한다고 생각하는데,
거기에 대해서 반박을 하고 싶으면 나는 이러이러해서 의견이 다르다고 반박을 해야지
"잘도 그런생각을 하고 살고계시네요" 라는 식의 비꼼은 아무런 유익도 가져다주지 않는것 같습니다.
그런데 요즘 이 이슈에는 그게 너무 많은것 같아요.

거기에 대해서 반박을 하고 싶으면 나는 이러이러해서 의견이 다르다고 반박을 해야지
"잘도 그런생각을 하고 살고계시네요" 라는 식의 비꼼은 아무런 유익도 가져다주지 않는것 같습니다.
그런데 요즘 이 이슈에는 그게 너무 많은것 같아요.

논리적이고 차분한 반박이나 의견이 너무 효율성없게 묻혀버리고
비꼬기는 그냥 눈에 잘 보이게 꽂히는 자극적인 단어나 문장만 만들면 효율성 높으니까 그런거만 세심하게 다듬어서 올리는 식이 너무 많네요.
어떻게 하면 찰진 표현으로 신선하게 반대쪽 사람의 속을 긁어놓을까? 경쟁하듯이 말이죠.
별 영양가도 없는 비꼬기는 솔직히 제대로 알지도 못하면서 있어보이는척 한마디는 끼고싶은 사람들이 남용하고 있다고 생각하고 있습니다.
