https://new.redtea.kr/?b=3&n=9285 프리뷰를 했으니 리뷰도 해야죠! 지난 일요일 7/7일 2019 여자월드컵은 4회 우승에 도전하는 미국 vs 유러피언 챔피언이자 첫 월드컵 결승의 네덜란드의 결승전에서 미국이 무려 4회 우승, 2015년에 이어 2회 연속 우승을 달성하면서 막을 내렸습니다. 대회 시작 직전에 프리뷰를했으니, 얼른 같은 포맷으로 리뷰를 해보겠습니다. 프랑스) 홈팀에 우승후보 답게 개막식부터 4-0으로 한국을 무참히 참살하며 강한 모습을 보여주었습니다. 말로만 듣던 187의 중앙 수비수 레나드의 제공력은 어마어마했으며, 프랑스의 심장이자 자랑인 아마딘 앙리도 중원에서 강력한 모습을 보여주었습니다. 개인적으로는 왼쪽 풀백으로 나선 마지리 선수의 공격력에 굉장히 감탄했습니다. 하지만 16강에 브라질과 연장까지 가는 엄청난 혈투를 보여주고서는 8강에서 미국의 변칙적인 전술에 대응하지 못하고 탈락하고 말았습니다. 지단 이전의 남자 프랑스팀과 마찬가지로 분명히 강한팀인데 새가슴이라는 이미지를 벗어낼 절호의 대회로 이번 대회를 노렸는데 굉장히 아쉬울것으로 보입니다. 한국) 잘 준비되었고 좋은 선수들을 지닌 팀이지만, 결정적인 포지션의 피지컬적인 한계가 굉장히 아쉬운 대회였습니다. 아무리 전술이 어쩌고 테크닉이 어쩌고 해도, 스포츠인 이상 센터백이나 센터 포워드가 기본적으로 상대에게 운동능력면에서 큰 차이가 나는건 어떻게 극복이 되는게 아니라는걸 다시 절실히 느꼈습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 3경기 모두 상대적 강팀을 상대로 본인들의 플랜을 끝까지 밀고 나가며 골 오브 더 토너먼트에 꼽힐만한 득점에 성공한건 칭찬할 일이라고 생각합니다. 노르웨이) 생각보다 강했지만, 그렇게 강한건 아니였습니다. 그래도 역시 여자축구는 미국빼면 북유럽이라는걸 보여주었습니다. 헤델베르그 나왔으면 잉글랜드와의 8강도 훨씬 할만했을텐데 조금 아쉽긴 할것 같습니다, 크게 만족도 실망도 안할 대회로 보입니다. 나이지리아) 아프리카 팀들에게 공통적으로 할수있는 이야기인데, 정말 너무 너무 불쌍합니다. 대다수의 아프리카 여자팀들은 협회의 지원을 제대로 받지 못하기 때문에 월드컵에 참가하는 팀들 중에서도 2019년 들어서 평가전 조차 치루지 못하고 대회에 참가한 팀들이 있었습니다. 선수들 개개인이 뛰어나긴 하는데 [팀]으로서 플레이가 안된다는걸 볼수있었습니다. 이건 전적으로 훈련과 경기 경험의 부족인것이라 정말 가슴 아픕니다. 그 와중에 역시나 공격편대가 개인능력만으로도 팀을 16강에 올려 놓은 클라스는 대단합니다. 독일) 생각보다 강한줄 알았는데 아니였습니다. 생각보다 조가 허약했던것 같더라구요. 수비진을 제대로 공략할수있는 팀을 8강에서 만나자 대회이전부터 언급되던 중앙 수비수의 불안함이 들어나며 굉장히 허무하게 탈락했습니다. 마로잔이 조별예선 첫경기에서 발가락 부상으로 대회내내 제대로 출전 못한걸 아쉬워 할것 같습니다만, 공격이 문제는 아닌... 대신에 굉장히 어리고 유망한 선수들이 대거 출전해서 좋은 모습을 보여, 미래에 다시 4강/우승권 팀이 될것은 확실해 보입니다. 실제로 대회 유망주 상은 독일의 18세 신예 Gwinn이 탓습니다. 중국) 그냥 무난했습니다. 탄탄하고 조직력 좋은 팀. 공격 에이스가 근데 특별한 모습을 보여주지 못하면서 결국에 1시드 팀에게는 안되는 모습이였습니다. 스페인) 첫 경기 남아공과의 승리가 스페인 여자대표팀의 첫 월드컵 승리였습니다. 하지만 이후 단 한번도 필드골을 성공시키지 못하며 역시나 공격력에 심각한 의문부호가 붙었는데, 16강 미국을 상대로 아주 인상적인 모습을 보여주었습니다. 본인들의 트레이드마크인 중원 패싱 게임을 포기하고 꽤 낮은 블럭에서 아주 거친 플레이로 미국을 괴롭히다가, 키퍼의 실수로 한골을 넣으면서 동점으로 전반을 마쳤으나, 결국에는 거친 플레이가 두번째 패널티로 연결되며 석패했습니다. 공격을 전두지휘한 에르모소의 폭발력과 오른쪽 윙어인 가르시아의 폭발력이 눈에 띄는 팀이였습니다. 남아공) 그다지 강한 조가 아니였음에도 다른 팀들과의 클라스가 꽤 컷습니다. 그래도 처녀 출전에 의의를 둡니다. 호주) 첫경기부터 이태리에게 후반 추가시간에 골 먹으면서 2-1 역전패를 당하며 C조를 본격 혼돈의 꿀조로 만든 주범입니다. 이후에 샘 커가 한경기 4골을 몰아치며 본인의 클라스를 과시했지만 결국에는 샘 커도 뭔가 리그에서의 모습이 제대로 나오지 않고, 호주 팀 전체도 샘 커가 뭐 안해주면 공격에 딴 옵션이 없는 듯한 모습을 보여주며 16강에서 떨어지고 맙니다. 이태리) 이 누나들 화끈합니다. 첫 경기부터 극적인 역전승을 기록하면서 수십년만의 월드컵 복귀를 화려하게 알리더니, 대회내내 재밌고 공격적인 축구를 보여주었습니다. 거기에 세러모니할때 진짜 감정 폭발하는 모습 매우 멋졌습니다. 아 녹아웃 올라가서 네덜란드한테 지기 시작하니까 신경질적인 파울까지 역시 이태리는 이태리입니다. 브라질) 브라질은 어딜가도 언제나 브라질입니다. 심금을 울리는 팀이였습니다. 여자축구계의 반박불가의 GOAT 마르타의 마지막 대회였습니다. 팀의 밸런스가 어떻게 되었든, 마르타의 개인 활약이 어떻든, 마르타를 중심으로 모든 경기에서 비비면서 16강에 올라가 강력한 우승후보 프랑스를 탈락 직전까지 몰아 붇혔습니다. 월드컵 7회 연속 기록이라는 어마어마한 기록의 41세 포르미가, 34세 크리스티아네, 마르타등의 노장들과 28세의 전성기의 데비냐가 정상적으로 뛰는 마지막 월드컵이였을겁니다. 16강전 패배 이후 마르타가 브라질의 소녀들에게 여자축구의 미래를 부탁하는 열정적인 인터뷰는 축구를 사랑하는 모든 팬들의 마음에 질수 없는 뜨거운 불을 질렀습니다. 결국엔 메이저 대회를 하나도 우승못하고 은퇴하겠지만, 그 누구보다 오래, 강렬하게 불탓던 스타의 마지막에 어울리는 인터뷰였다고 생각합니다. 자메이카) 돈이 없어서 월드컵 못올뻔했는데, 밥 말리의 딸이 크라우드 펀딩을 지휘해서 자금을 마련해서 월드컵 참가를 한 레게걸즈. 다른 팀들과 클라스 차이가 많이 나기는했지만, 그래도 역시나 팬들의 흥은 그 누구와 비교해도 부럽지 않았습니다. 잉글랜드) 4강전 보고 "아 미국 빼고는 잉글이 젤 잘한다"라고 생각했는데, 3,4위 전에서도 말려서 져가지고 4등한 팀입니다. 오른쪽 풀백 루시 브론즈가 진짜 거물입니다. 대회 실버볼을 받았는데 운동능력도 폭발적이고, 사이드라인을 타고 공격도, 중원으로 치고 들어오면서 공격전개도 할수있는 미워할수가 없는 그런 선수입니다. 링커의 역할을 맡은 키런 웰시도 날카로운 패스 능력이 돋보이고, 결정적으로 원톱인 화이트가 절정의 골감각을 발휘하며 패널티 없이 대회에서 6골을 넣는 기염을 토했습니다. 그런데 4강에서 변칙전술 들고 나왔다가 말리고, 3,4위 전에서도 멘탈 회복을 못한 것 같더라구요. 다음 유로가 잉글랜드에서 열리기에 우승을 노리고있는 팀인데, 단연코 우승을 노려할 팀이라고 봅니다. 스코틀랜드) 전체적으로 아쉬운 모습을 보여주었습니다. 선수들 개개인의 문제도있는데, 아르헨티나를 상대로 3-0리드를 내주면서 16강 진출에 실패한 경기는 너무너무나 아쉽습니다. 아르헨티나) 스코틀랜드를 상대로 전설적인 경기를 만들어냈으나 16강 진출에는 모자란 성적이였습니다. 남미에도 여자축구가 흥했으면 합니다. 일본) 생각보다 훨씬 잘했습니다. 스타 플레이어가 없음에도 불구하고 조직력을 극대화하면 그 어떤 팀을 상대로도 할만하다는 것을 보여주었습니다. 아마 현실적으로 우리나라가 벤치마킹해야할 대표적인 국가겠죠. 16강에서 석패하기는했지만, 16강의 득점은 이번 월드컵에서 가장 아름다운 팀골이라고 생각합니다. 독일과 마찬가지로 어린선수가 굉장히 많이 출전한 대회라서 근미래에 다시 반등할것이라고 보입니다. 캐나다) 어떻게든 싱클레어를 중심으로 어린 영건 벡키가 뭐든 해주겠지,라 믿으며 수비축구를 시전했습니다. 그리고 정말 잘해서 16강까지 갔는데.... 벡키가 패널티를 놓쳤어요 ㅠㅠ 극도의 실리축구를 보여주었는데, 실리축구는 공격작업에서 효율성이 높아야하는데 싱클레어는 확실히 너무 노장이고, 벡키를 비롯한 다른 선수들의 경험부족이 결국에는 발목을 잡았습니다. 벡키는 그래도 굉장히 좋은 선수로 보이기에 이 실패를 딛고 일어서기를 바랍니다. 카메룬) 비슷한데 16강 잉글랜드전에서 지속적인 심판판정에 대한 어필과 VAR로 인해서 경기가 3-0으로 말리면서 굉장히 안타깝게 탈락했습니다. 이 경기에서 카메룬의 엄청난 추격골이 VAR로 오프사이드 취소되고, 직후에 잉글랜드가 득점에 성공하자 선수들이 심판에게 강력하게 항의하면서 순간 경기를 진행하지 못하는 광경까지 연출되었습니다. 카메룬 감독이 경기상황에 강하게 반발하던 팀의 에이스인 옹구에네 선수를 강하게 안으면서 멘탈을 다잡아주려하는 모습이 인상적이였습니다. 이 팀 또한 지난 12개월간 평가전이 3번 밖에 없었나했다고 합니다... 정말 말도 못하게 힘들게 출전한 월드컵에서 이런식으로 경기가 말리며 탈락하는 애석함을 어떻게 표현할수가 없다고 생각합니다. 이 와중에 잉글랜드의 감독 필네빌을 비롯한 다수의 영국 언론사들은 카메룬의 반응을 비신사적이고 비스포츠적이라고 강하게 비판했는데 개인적으로는 전혀 동감 못하는 반응입니다. 뉴질랜드) 그냥 전체적으로 부족했습니다. 네덜란드) 조별예선 첫경기에서 강렬한 오렌지색의 팬들이 거리를 활보하면서 다른 팬들이랑 즐겁게 축제하는걸로 화제가 되었습니다. 단연코 에이스로 꼽혔던 좌 마르텐스, 우 반덴산덴은 사실 퍽이나 부진했습니다. 마르텐스는 알고보니 부상을 입은채로 대회에 참가하여 대회중 훈련도 제대로 못하는 상태였고, 반덴산덴은... 그냥 부진이라 4강부터는 주전도 아니였죠. 하지만 역시 네덜란드는 탄탄한 3미드필드와 절 사로잡은 원톱 비비앙 미드마를 중심으로 결승에 올랐습니다. 특별함을 추가할 메르텐스와
