탕수육에는 찍먹파와 부먹파가 있습니다. 시리얼에는 바삭파와 눅눅파가 있습니다. 생선회에는 간장파와 초장파가 있습니다. 삶은 계란에는 반숙파와 완숙파가 있습니다. 이렇게 세상 어느 주제든 대다수를 차지하는 두 개의 상충하는 취향이 있습니다. 드래곤볼도 이런 취향의 대전이 일어납니다. 바로 프리저 편과 셀 편 중 어느 에피소드가 더 재미있냐 하는 것이지요.  실사화한 버젼으로 보니 참 극혐.... 마인부우랑 피콜로는 실사화된 버젼으로 보면 더 토나옵니다. 저는 셀 전을 좋아하지 않습니다. 초사이야인 2, 정신과 시간의 방, 시간 여행, 트랭크스 등 여러가지 재미있는 요소들이 있지만 그래도 다시 볼 때마다 셀 전은 정말 어처구니가 없습니다. 개연성이 정말 형편없기 때문이죠. 다시 보면 답답해 속이 터집니다. 간단하게 말해 셀 전의 스토리가 이어지는 이유는 "지 잘난 맛에 취해 괜히 뻘짓을 하다가 위험을 자초하기 때문"이라 할 수 있겠습니다.  가장 큰 원흉은 이 인간.... 아니 이 외계인이죠. 프리더 전에서는 그렇게 간보기 잘하고 떠보기 잘 하는 놈이 왜 이렇게 강해졌다 싶으면 우쭐해져가지고;;;  일단 여기서부터 독불장군으로 나갑니다. 옆에서 모르는 아저씨가 경고하는 것도 아니고, 미래에서 별 더러운 꼴을 다 겪고 온 아들이 이야기하는데 쥐뿔도 들어먹질 않습니다. 사실 여기서 저 충고를 들은 후 손오공이랑 다 같이 패싸움했다면 결과론적으로 손오공 아웃, 그리고 지구는 인조인간들에게 멸망했다.... 그동안 드래곤볼을 사랑해주셔서 감사합니다 로 이야기가 나았겠지만요. 그럼에도 막무가내 기공포 땡깡을 부리는 게 현명한 짓은 아니었습니다.  익히 아시겠지요. 이 다음에 베지터는 떡이 되도록 얻어 맞습니다.  아냐!! 는 무슨.... 자기가 우주 캡짱이라는 자아도취를 버리지 못하는 이 불쌍한 중생. 프리더한테 질질 짜면서 처맞고, 인조인간한테 그렇게 털렸으면 교훈을 얻을 법도 한데.. 엘리트면 뭐하냐고.  17호도 얼빵한 건 매한가지입니다. 레드리본군의 과학기술 덕택에 강해진 주제에, 16호의 파워 레이다는 고장이라고 쿨하게 결론;;; 최소한 긴장이라도 하든지요.  싸움도 못하는 놈이 머리 굴리는 사람들에게 "치사하게 쫀쫀한 작전만 세운다"니요. 야 맞고 기절해있던 놈은 입 좀 다물어!!!  기억 상실증인가 봅니다. 그렇게 까불다가 인조인간한테 털린 기억은 벌써 잊었는지? 정신과 시간의 방에 1년간 처박혀있다보니 바깥세상의 공기에 취하신 듯.  손가놈의 페어플레이 정신.... 공평 타령 할거면 넌 왜 1년짜리 치트키 쓰는 정신과 시간의 방에 들어가고 순간이동 같은 기술을 쓰냐?  메인 악당이라고 별로 다를 건 없습니다. 도리야마 아키라랑 무슨 계약이라도 맺은 것처럼 "나보다 더 쎈 놈은 나올 리가 업뜸!!" 하고 도발질에 미쳐있네요.  제가 하고 싶은 말은 피콜로가 해주고 있네요. 네, 그리고 손오반의 이 잘난 척 덕택에 드래곤볼의 주인공인 손오공은 하늘나라로 사요나라 짜이찌엔 챠오....  그나마 제 울화통을 다스리는 건 트랭크스밖에 없습니다. 불안의 싹은 전력을 다해 초기에 제거하는 모습. 얼마나 아름답습니까?  베지터 이 자식은 말로만 하는 사과가 아니라 진심을 담아 사과를 해야 합니다. 애초에 잘난 척만 안했으면 이 난리가 일어나지도 않았을텐데... 파워인플레와 얼렁뚱땅 스토리 진행이 심한 마인 부우 전에서도 이렇게 다 이긴 상황에서 자만과 방심으로 삽질에 삽질을 거듭하는 내러티브는 거의 없습니다. 넌 날 못이겨... 훗!! 이라니.  그럼에도 셀전의 의의가 있다면 바로 이 분이시겠죠? 시대를 앞서갔던 츤데레...... 사실... 중고딩시절 드라곤의 비밀로 드래곤볼을 찔끔찔끔 본 입장에서 볼 때... 저는 드래곤볼은 프리저 이후로는 그냥 사족같다는 생각이 듭니다.
