1. 개요 ‘왓챠’는 자기가 본 영화에 평점을 매길 수 있는 앱입니다.(다른 기능도 많은데 이게 제일 좋아요) 월급도둑질도 할겸 천천히 평점을 매겨서 300개의 영화에 평점을 매겼네요. 이 중 5점을 준 영예의 29작품에 대해서 리뷰를 하고자 합니다.하는김에 다른 헛짓거리도 좀 하고... 스포 없습니다. 맘편히 읽으시길. 2. 나만의 평가 기준 왓챠에 평점을 주면서 엄격하게 한 건 아니지만 나름의 평가기준을 가지고 평점을 주었습니다. 명작, 수작, 작품성, 재미와 같은 말로는 분류가 어려워서, 경험적인 기준을 잡아서 분류를 했더니 조금 편해지더라구요. 5 - 1) 내 인생에 지대한 영향을 준 공로가 인정되거나 2) 씬이 전부 기억나는데도 또 보고 싶을 만큼 2시간 내내 재미있는 영화 4.5 - 5점주기엔 2% 모자란, 실제로는 4.98점짜리 영화들 4 - 1) 영화를 본 후 하루의 기분을 좌우할만큼 인상적이었거나 2) 시간이 지나도 머릿속에서 잊혀지지 않을 정도로 재미있는 영화 3.5 - 분명 4점급 영화였는데 내용이 잘 기억 안나는 영화 3 - 장점도, 단점도 뚜렷하지 않은 ‘그때는 재미있었던, 굳이 또 찾아보고싶지는 않은’ 영화 2.5 - 장점도, 단점도 뚜렷해서 보면서 재미와 아쉬움이 동시에 남았던 영화 2 - 장점보다 단점이 뚜렷해서 아쉽지만, 그래도 지금 생각했을 때 안 본 것보다는 나은 영화 1.5 - 시간대비 만족도가 잠보다 떨어지는 노잼 영화 1 - 안 본 눈 사고싶은 영화 간략하게 표현하면 3~5점 사이의 영화의 요건은 “재미”와 “각인”이었습니다. 재미야 뭐 당연한거고... 저는 각인에 대해서 상당히 가치있게 평가합니다. 아무리 내가 똑똑해도 그렇지 5년 전에 본 영화 내용이 기억이 난다면, 그 영화는 나에게 큰 의미가 되는 거니까요. 2점과 2.5점의 영화는 별 개수가 평균 이하처럼 보이지만, 제 기준으로 2.25점이 영화 평균인 것 같습니다. 왜냐하면 봤다는 기억만 나고 내용은 기억이 안나는 영화는 평점을 아예 주지 않았고, 정말 극혐인 영화들은 기억이 날래야 날 수가 없거든요. 앞서 언급한 “각인”의 부재인거죠. 1점과 1.5점의 영화 중 몇 개는 영화관에서 봤는데... 그 티켓으로 담뱃불이나 붙이는 게 더 만족스러웠을 정도로 재미가 없던 겁니다. 3. 5점짜리 영화들 내 인생에 지대한 영향을 준 공로가 인정된 영화들 올드보이 (2005) - 저는 연애감정으로 장난치는 소위 NTR물에 대한 조건없는 혐오가 극심한 사람인데요, 그건 아마 올드보이로 생긴 트라우마 때문이 아닌가 할 정도로 이 영화가 제게 준 임팩트는 강렬했습니다. 터미네이터 (1984) - 제게 로봇이 인간을 지배하게 될 날이 올까? 라는 질문을 던져준 영화 매트릭스 (2003) - 빨간약을 먹을지, 파란약을 먹을지 한달에 한번은 고민하고, 아직도 답을 못 내렸네요. ‘인식’에 대해 궁금증을 던져준 영화입니다. 인생은 아름다워 (1997) - 제가 세상을 따뜻하게 바라볼 수 있는 눈을 가질 수 있는 이유 중 하나라고 말할 수 있는 영화입니다. 다크 나이트 (2008) - 가면쓰고 연기하는 배트맨도, 정말 정신나간거 아닌가 싶은 조커도 대단했습니다. 보는 동안 사고를 정지하게 되는 영화였어요. 영화 자체의 완성도가 너무 뛰어나서, 해당 장르 내 넘버원인 영화들 호러 : 디센트 (2005) - 이질적인 공간에서 체감되는 공포를 알려줄 수 있다는 게 대단했습니다. 히어로 : 캡틴 아메리카 : 윈터 솔져 (2014) - “아직도 캡아의 위대함을 의심해?” 시리즈물, SF, 액션 등 어떤 카테고리에서도 가장 완벽한 플롯의 영화였습니다. 회색 : 범죄와의 전쟁 : 나쁜놈들 전성시대 (2011) - 검은색 영화, 흰색 영화는 많아도 회색 영화는 없는 것 같아요. 그것도 이 영화처럼 대단한 영화는 말이죠. 게이트 : 내부자들 (2015) - 우리나라에서만 할 수 있는 모든 게 집약되었습니다. 전 이런게 한국식 블록버스터가 아닐까 생각하네요. 범죄 : 악마를 보았다 (2010) - 끝이 우울한 영화는 다 싫어하는데, 이정도로 우울하면 얘기가 달라지죠. 절대악을 만들고 스토리를 전개하는 방식이 누가 올드하대?? 자르고, 토막내기 : 쏘우 (2004) - 자르고, 써는 영화 되게 좋아하는데요, 그중에 가장 완벽합니다. 애니 : 겨울왕국 (2013) - 렛잇고 천번은 들음 007 : 킹스맨 : 시크릿 에이전트 (2015) - 전 007물도 좋아합니다. 이 영화는 가장 위대한 007 영화에요. SF : 맨 인 블랙 (1997) - 있을법한 일을 코믹하게 풀어낸 가장 유쾌한 SF 영화 대단한 건 없지만 암튼 재미있는 영화 캡틴 아메리카 : 시빌 워 (2016) - 캡아의 버키사랑이 이해가 되지 않았음에도 불구하고 당당하게 5점을 따냈습니다. 활주로 격투씬은 마블영화 올타임 넘버원에서 내려갈 수 있으려나 모르겠네요. 터미네이터 2 (1991) - 아버지와 아들의 영화. 주지사님이 제게 다가와 꽃이 된 영화입니다. 에이리언 (1979) - 지금 보면 확실히 좀 구립니다만... 호러 SF의 신기원 + 에일리언 시리즈 탄생의 공적을 인정하여 5점! 타짜 (2006)- 군대에서만 15번은 봤습니다. 어떻게 러닝타임 내내 재미있죠? 모든 등장인물의 심리에 의문이 생기지 않는 탄탄한 영화입니다. 캐리비안의 해적 - 블랙펄의 저주 (1999) - 해적감성 충만한 디즈니 해적영화 킹콩 (2005) - 엄청 큰 고릴라가 공룡이랑 싸워서 5점줬습니다. 다른 게 필요해? 킥 애스 : 영웅의 탄생 (2010) - 제가 스파이디 영화를 싫어해서 그런지는 모르겠지만... 그는 제 인생에서 가장 위대한 찌질이었습니다. 4. 4.5점짜리 영화들 5점을 주기에 2% 모자란 4.98점짜리 영화들입니다. 모자란 2%가 뭘지 적어봅니다. 모자라다고 하니 어감이 안좋아 보이는데, 이친구들도 충분히 초 역대급 영화라고 평가합니다. 에이리언 2 (1986) - 2006년에 나왔어야 5점받습니다. cg가 야캐요 아는 여자 (2004) - 멜로가 뭐 다 그렇지만, 호흡이 느립니다. 식스 센스 (1999) - 반전을 모르고 봐야 5점짜린데, 전 이미 봤으므로... 더 록 (1996) - 에너미가 너무 평면적이에요. 스타쉽 트루퍼스 (1997) - 2007년에 나왔어야 5점받습니다. cg 야캐요(2) 취권 (1978) - 런닝타임이 너무 짧음 쇼생크 탈출 (1994) - 교도소 분위기가 너무 밝은거 아닙니까 쥬라기 공원 (1993) - 2003년에 나왔어야 5점받습니다. cg 야캐요(3) 가타카 (1997) - 강렬한 인상을 주는 씬이 없습니다. 맘마 미아!
