독일에 살고 있어서 한국보다 조금 더 빨리 볼 수 있었습니다. 내용관련해서는 최대한 언급 안하고 감상만 간단하게 적어보고자 합니다. 영화를 다 보고 든 생각은 "와, 올해 액션영화는 더 안봐도 될 것 같은데?" 였습니다. 물론 실제로 그러진 않겠죠. 좀 있으면 미션 임파서블도 나올거 같던데 어쨌든 거의 3시간 가까이 되는 영화 안에 액션의 양과 밀도가 말이 안되는 수준입니다. 사람에 따라서는 어마어마한 상영시간과 엄청난 볼륨의 액션에 부담을 느낄 수도 있을 것 같습니다. 하지만 그 액션장면들 하나하나의 완성도가 높아서 저는 굉장히 만족스러웠습니다. 특히나 견자단씨는 정말..........개인적으론 참 별로였던 3편의 닌자들처럼 좀 붕 뜨지 않을까 우려했었는데 칼도 아니고 총이 주역인 액션영화에서 맹인캐릭터를 이렇게 완벽하게, 강하게, 멋있게 연기하는게 가능한가 싶더군요. 저는 존윅 1편과 그 이후 후속작들을 비교할 때 근본적으로 다른 부분이 영화 전체의 분위기라고 봅니다. 1편은 은퇴한 전설의 암살자가 웬 머저리에게 정말 어처구니 없는 사고를 당해서 그걸 제대로 값아주는 내용입니다. 그 과정에서 존윅도 물론 죽을 뻔하고 마지막에 가서는 엄청 다치긴 하지만 그럼에도 불구하고 1편은 존윅이라는 킬러가 얼마나 무시무시하고 강력한 인물인지를 보여주는데 집중하죠. 그런데 2편부터 본격적으로 시리즈의 세계관이 드러나면서 분위기가 반전됩니다. 전설적인 존윅도 결국은 암살자 세계의 일부분에 지나지 않으며, 규율에 강력하게 얶메인 존재이고 그 규율을 깨트렸을 때, 그럼으로써 세계를 적으로 돌렸을 때 어떤 문제가 닥치는지를 보여주죠. 그러다보니 그 전까지는 본인 스스로가 공포이자 위험이었던 존윅이 이제는 자기가 어찌 할 수 없는 하이 테이블을 상대로 공포와 위험에 빠지게 되구요. 4편의 이야기도 근본적으로는 다른 후속작들과 유사한 느낌으로 진행됩니다. 여전히 존윅은 무시무시한 킬러지만, 그럼에도 불구하고 그의 싸움은 처절하다 못해 절박할 정도죠. 그리고 저는 그런 점이 이 시리즈를 좋게 만들어주는 요소라고 생각합니다. 결론적으로는 시리즈 최고작이라고 생각하고 어쩌면 제 인생 최고의 액션영화일수도 있겠다는 생각도 듭니다. 물론 시간이 지나면 감상이 달라질지도 모르겠지만요. 개인적으로 아쉬운 부분이 없는 건 아닌데 스포가 될 수도 있으니 여기서 언급하기엔 좀 애매하고, 기본적으로 이 영화의 가치를 크게 떨어트리지는 않는 것 같습니다. 따라서, 강추합니다.
