안녕하세요, 이 글이 (가입인사 제외하고) 지금 회사에서 홍차넷에 남기는 첫 글이자 마지막 글이 되겠네요. 저는 미국 기업의 한국 지사에 다니고 있습니다. 네, 오늘까지는요. 최근에 한국 지사의 주력 고객이던 모 기업의 사업 현황이 안 좋아지면서, 저희 회사와의 거래도 급감하게 되었고, 본사에서 결국 한국 지사의 인원 감축을 진행했습니다. 한국 지사 직원 중에 15% 정도 인원을 감축하기로 결정했고, 그 목록에 당당히 제가 이름을 올렸네요. ^^ 그래도 다행인건 미국 회사들은 이렇게 lay off 시에 exit package라고 해서 퇴직금과는 별도로 몇달치 월급을 줍니다. 저도 협상 끝에 7개월치 월급을 받고 퇴사하기로 했어요. 그동안 한 1년정도는 회사에서 월급루팡짓(?)을 많이 했기에... 한편으로는 목돈(!)이 생긴다는 생각에 기쁘게 나갈 마음이 생기다가도, 흔히 말하는 "전쟁터"에서 "지옥"으로 들어가려니 마음이 착찹하기도 하네요. 어제는 점심 먹고 퇴근해서 회사 근처 영화관에 가서 영화 "마션"을 보면서..
