 4월의 책 독서모임 4월에 함께 읽으실 책은 에곤쉴레의 “자화상” 입니다. ‘자화상 Selbstportrat’ 글과 그림, 단상을 통해 입체적으로 살펴보는 에곤 실레의 내면! 이 책은 에곤 실레가 남긴 명언과 주변 사람에게 보낸 글 그리고 그에 맞는 그림으로 구성되어 입체적으로 그의 삶과 예술세계를 살펴볼 수 있다. 가족과 친구에게 보낸 글에 맞추어 그의 명언과 그림이 더해져 예술가로서 뿐만 아니라 한 인간으로서의 에곤 실레를 이해하는 데 도움이 될 것이다. 또한 그가 남긴 명언에서는 그의 철학적 기준과 잣대를, 주변인에게 보낸 글에서는 그의 꾸밈없고 내적 감성을 볼 수 있어 좀 더 친밀하고 가까이에서 에곤 실레를 지켜볼 수 있을 것이다. 그의 그림이 인간의 실존을 둘러싼 모든 것이자 자신을 찾아가는 결과물이었듯이 그의 글 또한 그의 삶을 관통했던 내밀한 감정을 이해할 수 있는 단서가 되어줄 것이다. 에곤 실레에게 글은 그림만큼 자신을 표현하는 중요한 수단이었으며, 내면의 세밀한 감성을 고스란히 드러냈다. 출처: 교보문고 한 달에 한 권 정도의 책을 읽고, 함께 책에 대해서 이야기해 볼려고 하는 취지로 진행합니다. 완독을 목표로 하며 아주 느리게 진행하는 독서모임이니 부담없이 참여하시길 권합니다. 1.진도: 책 읽는 진도는 한 주에 아래를 참고해서 읽으시면 좋을 듯합니다. 1-2주차: 01 Fighter 싸우는 자 3-4주차: 02 Eternal Existence 영원한 존재 2. 리뷰: 책을 모두 읽으신 홍차넷 회원분들은 홍차넷 티타임, 매월 마지막주에, 이 글 아래에 책 소감에 대한 리뷰 내용을 댓글로 달아주시면 됩니다. 아래는 좋아했던 문구들이네요. 그 중에서도 이 문구가 가장 마음에 들었어요.
여름에 가을이 곧 오면 바뀌어질 가을의 나무 모습을 상상할 수 있고 또한 여름을 지나면서
풍성했던 여름 나무의 가을나무로의 진화 퇴화? 하는 모습에서 애석해하고 있는
저자 에곤실레의 섬세함에 놀라게 되었습니다.
자연 현상 하나하나의 미묘한 변화도 감지하는 그래서 일명 예술가라 칭하나 싶기도 싶었고요.
