- 사실 네이밍은 더럽게 잘못한거 같음.. 애플TV : 애플의 셋탑박스 애플TV+ : 애플의 OTT 서비스 애플TV앱 : 애플의 OTT 앱 아니 이름을 좀 바꿔야 안했갈리지..... - 애플TV는 그래서 뭐가 좋냐? 1. 현존 최고의 셋탑박스입니다.. 셋탑박스를 돈주고 사서 써?.. 라고 물어본다면 사실 IPTV 보시는분들.. 다 셋탑박스 비용 청구되고 있습니다.. 할부로 ㅜㅜ 2. 현존 최고의 셋탑박스면 그래서 뭐가 좋은데? 개빠릅니다.. 아마 IPTV나 스마트TV에서 앱 실행해보시면 와 느리다.. 라는 느낌 받을 수 있는데 애플TV는 '아이폰 Xs' 랑 동일 스펙입니다.. 이제 3년전 스펙인데 뭐?.. 라고 하시겠지만 사실 애플이 시대를 과하게 앞서갔기 때문에 다른 셋탑박스 스펙하고는 게임이 안됨.. 3. 주요 OTT는 티빙 빼고 다 지원합니다. 넷플릭스/디즈니플러스/왓챠/웨이브 지원합니다. 티빙은 사실 지원하는게 더 적어서 업체 자체가 문제가 있다고 생각함... 물론 유튜브/트위치 같은 앱들도 지원합니다. 4. 개 빠른거 말고 기능이 뭐가 좋나요? -> 애플 기기 미러링을 사진, 게임등까지 다 해서 볼 수 있음 -> 에어팟이 바로바로 연결되고, 공간음향이 적용됨 -> 화면 색감을 아이폰과 연계해서 빠르게 조절할 수 있음 -> 아이폰을 리모컨처럼 쓸 수 있어서 편하게 이용 가능. -> 4k HDR / 돌비애트모스 / 돌비비전등의 최신 기술들을 모두 지원함. (이건 본인의 TV와 사운드 시스템도 같이 지원해야 되긴 합니다만.. ) - 그럼 애플TV앱은 뭐가 다를까? 애플TV+ 는 기본적으로 '오리지널 컨텐츠' 밖에 없습니다. 이게 무슨소리야.. 라고 한다면 예를들어서 사랑의 불시착은 티빙에도 있고 넷플릭스에도 있습니다. 즉 여러 OTT에 있는 서비스고 이건 오리지널이 아니죠. '펜트하우스는 웨이브'에만 있고 / 오징어 게임은 넷플릭스에만 있습니다. 이게 오리지널..인데요 애플TV는 '오리지널 컨텐츠' 밖에 없기 때문에.. 오리지널 + 기타로 채운 타 OTT보다 컨텐츠 자체가 엄청나게 적습니다. 지금 100개도 안되던가.. 그랬던듯.. 그 대신 '파트너 큐레이션' 이 도입되어 있습니다. 이게 뭔소린고 하면 애플TV앱을 틀면 '애플TV+ 오리지널 컨텐츠' + 파트너 OTT들의 컨텐츠를 묶어서 같이 추천하고. 같이 시청내용부터 해서 다 관리를 해줍니다. 즉 애플TV앱에서 '디즈니플러스/왓챠/웨이브' 컨텐츠도 같이 추천하고, 다시보기도 되고, 이어보기도 되고. 다 됩니다. (저 각각의 앱을 굳이 들어갈 필요가 없다는 소리..) 대신 결제는 디플을 해야 디플 컨텐츠를 볼 수 있고... 하는 방식이라 돈은 쭉쭉 나가지만... 파트너가 아닌 메이저 OTT는 넷플릭스만 있습니다.. (그래서 애플TV앱 + 넷플릭스앱. 2개만 틀면 모든 OTT 내용 끝..) 의외의 장점이 아 이거 내가 웨이브에서 보던건지 왓챠에서 보던건지 디플에서 보던건지.. 같은 혼동을 한큐에 해결.. 해준다는 점?.. 그리고 웨이브랑 왓챠앱이 은근 검색부터 다 똥구린데.. 애플이 편하게 검색하고 추천해줘서 오히려 퀄이 좋아집니다.. 흠흠... ............................................... 결론 추천할 수 있는 사람 -> 평소 실행할때 답답한거 못견디는 사람 -> OTT를 많이 쓰고 있어서 큐레이션이 필요한 사람 -> 에어팟 끼고 티비 보고 싶은 사람 -> 아이폰에 사진 같은거 티비로도 쉽게쉽게 보고 싶은 사람 -> 아이폰 쓰는데. 집에 티비가 에어플레이가 안되거나 / 스마트티비가 오래된 티비라서 버거운 사람 -> 저같은 앱등이 그 외에는 추천 안합니당.. 끝.....
