안녕하세요. 요즘 많은 분들이 디아블로2 레저렉션을 하고 계시는데요. 매우 핫한 스타터 캐릭 중 하나인 해머딘에 대해 이야기해 보고자 합니다. 기본적인 아이템 세팅법이나 맨땅 육성법, 스킬트리, 스탯분배 등의 내용은 이미 유튜브에 차고 넘치게 있으니 저는 거기에서 다루지 않은 세부적인 내용들을 이야기 해보려 합니다. 우선 디아블로2에서 스타터 캐릭으로 추천받는 것은 전부 캐스터 계열 캐릭터입니다. 타격계열 캐릭터의 경우 원활한 진행을 위해서 해결되어야 할 부분들이 많고,(공속 프레임,강타,치타,공격등급,피흡,마흡 등등...)이는 컨트롤로도 해결이 불가능한 부분이기 때문에, 스타터 캐릭으로 선택할 경우 난이도가 매우 올라가게 되며, 어찌어찌 졸업을 시켰다 하더라도 이후 캐스터계열에 비해 많이 떨어집니다. 그러나 캐스터 계열은 상기 타격계열에서 신경써야되는 거의 모든 부분에서 자유롭습니다. 신경써야 할 부분이라고는 원소내성, 생존력, 마나수급 및 컨트롤 정도밖에(...) 없다고 보시면 됩니다. 오늘 이야기할 해머딘 역시 캐스터 계열인데요, 우선 캐스터 계열 중 해머딘이 가진 장점을 살펴보겠습니다. 우선 원소계열 내성에서 자유롭습니다. 해머딘의 주력스킬인 블레시드 해머는 매직 속성으로, 원소계열 내성에서 자유롭습니다. 해머딘과 함께 스타터 쌍두마차를 자랑하는 소서리스의 경우 원소계열 내성에서 자유롭지 못하며, 무공으로 이를 해결하기 전까지는 바알런을 돌기 힘듭니다. 그러나 해머딘은 원소내성에 영향을 받지 않기 때문에(바알런에서 등장하는 아크멜 더 커시드 슈퍼유니크 몬스터가 매직내성이긴 합니다만 이건 용병이 정리해줍니다), 어느정도 생존 세팅만 되면 바알런까지 무난히 돌 수 있습니다. 두번째로 생존력이 우수합니다. 캐스터 계열 캐릭터들이 가장 많이 착용하는 스피리트(영혼) 룬워드가 있는데요, 2스킬에 최대 35패캐가 붙어있는 개사기 아이템입니다. 방패의 경우 파레를 제외한 나머지 3원소 저항력까지 빠방하게 붙어있고, 들어가는 룬도 탈주울오르트앰으로 나이트메어 단계에서 모두 파밍이 가능합니다. 다만 4소켓 방패중 힘제가 가장 낮은 아이템은 모너크인데, 이건 헬에 가야 드롭이 되기 때문에, 우선은 무기(주로 크리스탈소드)에 만들어서 사용하다가 헬에서 모너크를 파밍하면 방패를 만들어 착용하게 됩니다. 그러나 팔라딘은 전용방패가 있는데, 노말 액트 5 이상에서 드랍된 모든 팔라딘 전용방패는 다 4소켓이 뚫립니다. (라주크 퀘스트 기준) 운만 좋으면 나이트메어 진입하고 곧바로 방패 스피리트를 착용할 수가 있다는 겁니다. 게다가, 팔라딘 전용방패의 노말옵션에는 모든저항력이 붙는데, 이게 최대 45까지 붙습니다. 만약 45올레지가 붙은 팔라딘 방패에 스피릿 작을 하게되면, 콜라포레 75%에 파레45%가 붙은(!) 방패를 착용하게 되는 거죠. 게다가, 팔라딘의 홀리쉴드 스킬은 방패의 방어력을 넘사벽으로 뻥튀기 해주며 방패 막기 확률을 최대 35%까지 올려줍니다. 이를 통해 팔라딘은 민첩에 어느정도 숫자만 투자하게 되면 방패막기 확률 75%를 매우 쉽게 찍을 수 있게 되고, 다른 캐스터 계열의 두 배가 넘는 방어력 수치를 쉽게 찍을 수 있습니다. 쉽게 말하면 방패칸에 갑옷을 하나 더 입은 정도라고 보시면 됩니다. 세번째로 딜량 역시 준수합니다. 블레시드 해머는 2개의 시너지 스킬이 있습니다. 물론 소서리스는 2개의 시너지 스킬(블리자드의 경우 시너지 스킬이 무려 3가지입니다)에 원소 마스터리까지 있습니다만, 팔라딘에게는 소서리스의 원소 마스터리를 능가할 수 있는 방법이 있습니다. 바로 컨센트레이션 오라입니다. 원래 컨센트레이션 오라의 데미지 상승치는 물리공격 및 물리타격계열 스킬에만 적용된다고 알려졌으나, 무슨 이유에서인지 블레시드 해머에도 이것이 적용되는 것이 발견되었고, 이 발견으로 인해 해머딘이라는 육성법이 정립되었습니다. 사실 이 컨센트레이션 오라가 아니었다면, 딜량 부족으로 인해 해머딘은 세상에 나오지 못했을지도 모릅니다. 블레시드 해머/블레시드 에임/비거/컨센트레이션을 모두 마스터한 기준으로 10K 이상의 데미지를 자랑하며, 이는 소서리스와 비교해도 전혀 꿀리지 않습니다. 이렇게까지 놓고보면 해머딘은 정말 단점이 없는 전천후 캐릭터로 생각되는데요, 다만 이런 장점에도 불구하고 항상 소서리스와 비교되는데는 그만한 이유가 있죠. 즉, 해머딘도 마냥 장점만 있는 캐릭터는 아닙니다. 그럼 해머딘의 단점은 뭐가 있을까요? 딱 하나 있습니다. 텔레포트가 없어요. 스타터 캐릭으로서 팔라딘과 항상 비교되는 소서리스에게는 희대의 개사기 스킬인 텔레포트가 존재합니다. 팔라딘을 포함한 다른 캐릭터들은 텔레포트를 사용하려면 스왑용 텔봉을 쓰거나 수수께끼를 입어야 합니다. 맨땅에서 상점런을 통해 스왑용 텔봉을 구하는건 그리 어렵지 않습니다만 스왑을 통해서 제한적으로 텔레포트를 사용하고 또 수리비를 지불해야 하는 캐릭터와 그냥 텔레포트를 쓸수 있는 소서리스는 그 차이가 어마무시하지요. 이로 인해 소서리스와 팔라딘, 정확히 말하면 소서리스와 기타 직업들은 졸업 직후 보스런에서 어마어마한 성능 차이가 발생하게 됩니다. 물론 팔라딘은 차지+비거 컨트롤로 기동성 자체는 어느정도 상쇄할 수 있긴 합니다만, 역시 텔레포트에는 비할 바가 안됩니다. 아무리 그래도 그저 텔레포트 하나 없는게 뭐가 그리 큰 단점이냐고 생각하실 수도 있지만, 실제로 플레이를 하다 보면 텔레포트가 없음으로 인해서 맨땅 해머딘 플레이 시 애로사항이 적잖이 꽃피게 됩니다. 우선 용병 컨트롤이 불가능합니다. 디아블로2 에서 텔레포트를 쓰게 되면 용병 역시 본캐릭 위치로 텔레포트가 되는데요, 이를 통해서 세팅이 덜 된 용병을 효율적으로 살릴 수 있습니다. 맨땅 졸업 전후로 로룬을 먹어서 인내갑옷을 만들 수 있는 사람은 매우 극소수일겁니다. 정말 운이 좋다면 엘리트작 통찰과 스톤/우울/기타 유니크 에테리얼 갑옷(듀리얼갑, 메쉬아머 등)에 피흡 가능한 뚜껑(탈뚜, 유니크 캐스크, 유니크 그랜드크라운 등)정도 끼고 있을텐데, 만약 이정도 세팅으로 1인방에서 용병이 잘 버틸 수 있었다면 인내 갑옷의 가치가 지금처럼 높진 않았을 겁니다. 실제로, 에테인내를 끼고 있는 용병과 그렇지 않은 용병의 내구성은 정말 확연히 차이납니다. 단순 방어수치만 놓고보면 스톤이나 우울도 인내와 비슷하지만 실제 체감은 전혀 다르죠. 에테인내+랄작 안뚜+엘리트 에테 통찰을 끼고 있는 용병은 웬만해선 눕지 않습니다. 그러나 맨땅에선 이런 세팅이 거의 불가능하기 때문에, 실제로 해머딘을 플레이하시다 보면 용병이 정말 자주 눕는것을 경험하실 겁니다. 더군다나 해머딘은 리치가 짧기 때문에 홀리프리즈 오라를 구비한 용병이 추천되는데, 이 경우 디파이언스 오라를 장착한 용병에 비해 방어도 수치가 많이 떨어지게 되어 용병의 내구성이 더더욱 약해집니다. 소서리스의 경우 텔포를 통해 용병컨이 자유자재로 가능하며, 리치가 길기 때문에 파밍이 덜 되었다면 디파이언스 용병을 써서 용병의 생존력(+본캐의 생존력)을 더욱 끌어올릴 수도 있습니다. 리치가 짧은 해머딘이 몹한테 붙어서 해머를 돌리는 동안 인내갑옷 및 디파이언스 오라 없이 몹에게 다굴당하는 용병은 체력이 매우 빠르게 떨어질 수밖에 없는데, 이 용병을 살리자고 매번 텔봉으로 스왑해서 텔포를 쓰게되면 사냥 효율이 떨어지게 됩니다. 그렇다고 용병한테 무제한으로 거봉을 먹일수도 없고, 아무리 대힐포를 먹여도 용병은 지속적으로 눕게되는데 이러면 통찰의 메디테이션 오라가 필수인 햄딘 특성상 또 사냥 효율이 떨어지게 됩니다. 심지어는 용병 구매비용이 부족하게 되는 상황도 자주 발생합니다. 두번째로, 보스몹 사냥이 느립니다. 이는 강타가 없는 캐스터계열의 공통된 단점이나 소서리스는 스태틱 필드라는 개사기 스킬로 이를 커버할 수 있습니다.(우버디아 및 횃불 퀘스트 제외)이게 텔포와 무슨 상관이냐 싶지만, 실제로는 텔레포트와 매우 밀접한 연관이 있습니다. 블레시드 해머를 시전하게 되면 투사체인 망치가 팔라딘의 주위를 나선형으로 돌게 되는데, 이것을 단일 보스몹에게 적중시키는 것은 상당히 어렵습니다. 다만 해머는 처음에 팔라딘 캐릭터의 10시~11시 방향(좌상단)에서 생성되어 회전한다는 점을 이용하면 단일 보스몹에게 해머를 100% 적중시킬 수가 있습니다. 문제는 보스몹이 이동할 때마다 자리를 다시 잡아야 한다는 점인데, 팔라딘이 수수께끼를 입고 텔레포트를 사용하게 되면 이 문제가 바로 해결됩니다. 텔포를 보스몹에게 바로 쓰게 되면(이 테크닉을 소위 '머리찍기'라고 합니다)팔라딘이 보스와 바로 근접하게 되고, 이러면 팔라딘을 보스몹의 우하단에 바로 근접시켜 해머를 모두 적중시키는 게 가능해지고, 보스몹도 빠르게 클리어가 가능해집니다. 그러나 이를 스왑 텔봉으로 하기에는 너무 귀찮고 손이 많이 갑니다. 마지막으로, 당연한 이야기이지만 텔포가 없으면 벽을 넘을 수 없습니다. 물론 팔라딘은 특유의 비거(무려 블레시드 해머의 시너지 스킬입니다)+차지 콤보와 적절한 스왑텔봉 활용으로 어느정도 상쇄할 수 있습니다만 소서리스의 그것과는 결코 비교가 불가능합니다. 결국 텔레포트가 없어 벽도 못넘고 머리찍기도 불가능하기 때문에, 졸업 직후 쉽고 매력적인 파밍코스인 퀘드랍 안다리엘과 메피스토 파밍효율이 소서리스와 넘사벽으로 차이가 나게 되어, 피트와 카생,바알런,트라빈컬 위주로 돌수밖에 없습니다..만 피트와 트라빈컬 역시 용병컨이 안되기 때문에 활잡이한테 용병이 순삭당하기 십상이라 결국 카생과 바알런만 주구장창 돌아야 합니다. 하지만 맨땅 세팅만으로는 바알런은 가는길에 언데드 스티지언 덜(자폭 뼉다구 잼민이)와 버닝 소울이 매우 큰 장애물로 작용하며 트라빈컬 역시 용병의 생존을 담보하기 어렵습니다. 결국 카생+핀들+엘드리치 정도가 맨땅졸업 직후 가장 효율적인 파밍루트가 될 수밖에 없고 엔드 컨텐츠인 횃불 퀘스트를 위한 키셋 파밍 역시 텔포가 없기 때문에 매우 비효율적입니다. 상기 장점들로 인해 텔레포트 없이도 소서리스와 맞먹는 맨땅 효율을 자랑하나, 저런 무친 장점들에도 불구하고 텔레포트 하나때문에 소서리스와 겨우 맞먹을수밖에 없는 것이 스타터로서의 해머딘이라고 할 수 있겠습니다. 반대로 말하면, 수수께끼를 착용한 해머딘은 정말 단점이 하나도 없는 전천후 완성형 버스기사 캐릭터가 되는거죠. 여기에 횃불 퀘스트까지 가능한 해슴딘 세팅도 있는데, 이 부분은 추후에 짧게 다뤄보도록 하겠습니다. 해슴딘에 대해 궁금하신 분들은 유튜브에 해슴딘 검색해보시면 다 나오니 그쪽 참고를.. 정말 쓸데없이 긴 글 여기까지 읽어주셔서 감사드립니다. 다음에 시간되면 제 개인적인 스타터 원픽인 극블리 소서리스에 대해서도 이야기해 보도록 하겠습니다.
