TV를 본방사수했던게 언제적인지 모르겠습니다. 거의 안하다가 마지막으로 본방사수 한게 씨름의 희열 결승이었네요. OTT 는 Over The Top 의 약자라는데, Top을 넘어서다니? 하고 어리둥절한적이 있는데, 이게 Set Top Box 의 Top 이라고... 헐... 하여튼, 요즘 대부분의 방송은 VOD로 보고 있고, 유튜브도 프리미엄으로 보다보니 광고라는 것을 거의 보지를 못합니다. 그나마 예전에는 영화보러가면 극장에서 좀 봤는데, 코로나 시대에 극장 안간지도 오래되었고요. 제가 보는 OTT 비슷한 것들은... 1. 넷플릭스 : 월 14500원 2. 웨이브 : 월 10900원 3. 티빙 : 월 5900원 4. 유튜브 프리미엄 : 월 8900원 자잘한 IPTV 빼고 VOD로 사보는 영화류 제외하고 매월 기본으로 4만원돈이 나갑니다. (아마존은 보다가 해지...) 코로나 시대에 여기저기서 OTT 를 론칭하는 분위기이고... 예전에 IPTV 하나로 공중파와 케이블의 VOD를 볼 수 있었는데, 점점 파편화 되면 결국 시청자들의 부담만 커지는 거 아닐까... 파편화된 OTT들이 경쟁하다 망해서 어디 통합되면 다행인데, 아에 망해버리면 해당 콘텐츠는 편히 즐기기 어려워지는거 아닐까... 툥신비 부담 이야기 하는데 몇년안에 OTT 부담 이야기 나오는거 아닌지 모르겠습니다. 최소한 KBS는 수신료 받아 먹으면 OTT에 무료로 콘텐츠들 풀어줘야 하는거 아닌가? 하는 생각이 스쳐지나가네요. (하지만 씨름의 희열 이후 KBS를 본적이 없는 듯..)
