'많은 이성애자 남성들이 섹스하는 동안 엉덩이에 자극받는 것을 좋아한다 Many straight men like to be anally stimulated during sex'라는 응답에는 35%(n=59)가 동의했고, '많은 이성애자 남성들이 섹스하는 동안 엉덩이에 삽입되는 것을 좋아한다 Many straight men like to be anally penetrated during sex'라는 응답에는 14%(n=24)가 동의했지요. 실제 경험은 어찌되나? 실제 경험을 물어봤을 때 가장 많이 응답한 항목은 '직장(直腸, rectum)을 문지른 적이 있다', '손가락을 자신의 엉덩이에 삽입한 적이 있다' 였어요. 다만 전반적인 응답 빈도는 높지 않았습니다. 어떤 형태로든 아날 에로티시즘 관련된 행동을 해본 적이 있다고 응답한 학생은 24%(n=40)이었고, '손가락을 자신의 엉덩이에 삽입한 적이 있다'고 응답한 28명도 [과거에 한 번]이라는 조건으로 답했지요. '직장(直腸, rectum)을 문지른 적이 있다'는 학생은 [한 달에 한 번]이라는 조건으로 9명이 답했습니다. 정리하자면 아날 에로티시즘의 탐색이 성적 삶에서 지속적인 부분은 아니었다는 것이지요. 하지만 어떤 형태로든 경험해봤던 학생 중 10%(n=17)는 섹스 파트너와 경험을 해봤다고 답했습니다. 어떤 학생은 '내기에 지는 바람에 여성 파트너가 내 엉덩이를 한 번 뚫게 했다 (Lost a bet and let a female partner anally penetrate me.)'고 답했지요. 만족도가 어땠는지 물었을 때 학생 중 '기분 좋았다'는 31%(n=15), '깜짝 놀랐다'는 25%(n=12), '가 버렸다'는 21%(n=10)명이었어요. 그러나 7명은 섹스 파트너가 그들의 엉덩이에 손을 댔을 때 매우 부정적으로 반응했다고 응답했어요.
