정모를 가진지 시간이 좀 지났네요. 머릿속으로는 벌써 10번도 넘게 후기를 썼다 지웠다 했는데 여러모로 쓰기가 힘들었네요. 저는 정모를 준비하는 입장이었는데 계획대로 잘 되지 않았던 부분이 있다보니 반성문 쓰는 느낌이 되어서 그랬던 것 같습니다. 이번 정모는 도와주시는 분들이 많았어서 전보다 더 수월하게 잘 진행된 면이 있는 것 같습니다. 반면에 새로운 시도들이 있었다보니 시행착오도 있었구요. 예전 정모를 진행하고 난 뒤에 많았던 피드백 중 [짧아서 아쉬웠다], [지방민들도 배려해주세요] 같은 것들이 있었습니다. 정모 때문에 서울에 와서 숙박을 하시는 회원분들이 있었던게 기억이 나고 하다보니, 제 머릿속에서는 [모임 시간이 길면 좋아하는 사람들이 많이 있을 것이다]라는 막연한 가설이 세워졌습니다. 그리고 '다음 정모 때는 길게 해봐야지', '이왕 길게 할거면 좀 더 많이 모이도록 크게 하는게 낫겠다' 같은 생각으로 이어졌네요. 그런 생각을 계속 갖고 있던 찰나에 정모 얘기가 나오고 해서, 정모를 생각하면서 장소를 물색하다보니 좋은 장소를 빌릴 수 있는 기회가 왔습니다. 때는 이 때다 하고 그 동안 생각해오던 큰 정모를 계획하고 실행에 옮기기 시작했지요. 정모를 준비하면서 제일 결정적인 실수가 있다면 이 부분인 것 같습니다. 사람이 많이 모이면 뒷풀이 장소 섭외도 어려울 것이라 미리 알아볼 필요가 있으니 빠르게 움직여서 섭외를 해놓았습니다. 인원이 갑자기 많아져도 수용 할 수 있는 곳으로 예약을 했지요. (사실은 1차 2차 모두 150명을 여유있게 수용할 수 있는 공간이었습니다.) 막연하게 많은 회원들이 정모에 참석할것이라는 행복회로를 머릿속에 돌리고 있었던 것 같습니다. 날짜를 정하고 장소 물색도 마쳐놓고 준비를 시작했습니다. 70명은 충분히 채울 수 있으리라는 생각이었는데, 그렇게 전제하고 준비하다보니 실제 진행하는데 차질이 좀 많았던 것 같네요. 다양한 아이디어를 내고 다양한 가능성들을 타진해봤었는데 너무 까분거 같아 좀 창피하기도 하고 그렇습니다. 다른 홍차넷의 오프모임과 다르게 정모에서 추구하고자 하는 방향이 있다면 자연스럽게 여러사람을 부담없이 만날 수 있는 기회를 갖는 것과, 다양한 사람들이 마이크를 잡고 자신의 생각을 다른 이들에게 들려주는 것입니다. 그런면에서 보면 이번 정모에서는 괜찮았던 부분도 있고 아쉬웠던 부분도 있는 것 같습니다. PT를 활용한 5분의 개별 발표시간을 가졌던 것은 개인적으로는 가장 만족스러웠던 부분입니다. 참여하셨던 분들이 모두 자신의 이야기를 개성있고 성실하게 잘 준비해서 들려주셨어서요. 적어도 무대에 섰던 사람들에 대해서 만큼은 그 자리에 있었던 모두가 그에 대한 어떤 인상을 가질 수 있는 시간이지 않았나 싶습니다. 제가 정모에서 기대하는 바이기도 했구요. 발표를 준비해오지 않으신 분들에게는 그런 기회가 돌아가지 않았던 것에 대해서는 아쉬움이 있습니다. 이번 정모에는 파란아게하님이 오셔서 깔끔하게 진행을 도와주셔서 큰 도움을 받았습니다. 덕분에 즐거운 시간이 되었고 놓칠뻔한 부분들도 많이 챙길 수 있었습니다. 준비가 매끄럽지 않아서 좀 우왕좌왕했던 면이 있었는데요 아쉬웠던 점에 대해서는 모두 양해해주셨으리라 생각하고 미안한 마음으로 감사를 드립니다. 처음 계획에 정모의 규모를 키우려고 하다보니 '모임'이라는 느낌이 아닌 '행사'처럼 준비했던 것 같습니다. 사실 행사를 준비하려고 하게 되면 경험과 노하우가 굉장히 중요한 부분이 되어서, 모든 부분에 있어서 차질이 없이 진행되도록 해야하는 어려운 미션이 되는데 방향설정에 있어서 어려움을 자초한 면이 있었던 것 같습니다. 그러면서도 '모임'이니까 편하게 준비한다는 안일함도 있었던거 같구요. 방향을 명확히 하지 못해서 같이 일해주셨던 스탭분들이 고생을 많이 해주신 것 같습니다. 정모 끝나고 적당히 인사하고 스탭 톡방을 폭하고 나왔는데 오랜 시간동안 일 얘기만 엄청하고 뒷풀이 없이 마무리한게 뭔가 많이 아쉽고 잘못했다는 생각이 들더군요. 당일에 스탭 뒤풀이 자리를 따로 만들었어야 했을 것 같은데... 스탭으로 고생하셨던 분들께도 다시 감사의 인사를 드립니다. 다음에 정모를 할 때는 조금 힘을 빼고 가볍게 하려고 합니다. 너무 큰 장소를 빌리는 것도 지양하고, 편하게 준비 할 수 있는 규모로 하는게 좋을 것 같습니다. 그 동안 정모를 몇 번 하면서 여러가지 새로운 시도들을 해봤는데, 앞으로는 그 중에 반응 좋았던 것들 위주로 알차게 누리는 정모로 준비 할 생각입니다. * 토비님에 의해서 티타임 게시판으로부터 게시물 복사되었습니다 (2019-02-07 21:58) * 관리사유 : 추천 게시판으로 복사합니다.
